All in all a very nice hotel. Although located very near the beach and the shopping and restaurant areas at White Beach, the hotel is quiet and have a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and there is only one important thing missing, namely wifi at the hotel rooms. You have to go to the reception area to get online, and in this day and age this is not good enough. Especially in a hotel at this price range.

The hotel is at a great location by D-mall, and short walk to the beach. The hotel was OK, but rooms not very clean. I found a used tooth-pick in the shower, and the bedsheets was full of holes and stains.

The only thing that I like about this hotel is the location. Other than that, I didn't enjoy much. First, bed sheet smells bed and morning breakfast was the worst. There's nothing I enjoyed. I skipped the breakfast next morning because of bad quality of food.

The Hotel was very central to everything, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive at all times. The towels were changed every day. We enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Grand Boracay Resort and would certainly recommend it to our friends and family.

더블침대 2개 있던방에서 아이까지 3 명썼는데 시설도 깨끗하고 편하게 잘 쉬었습니다 디몰거리에 입구가 있어 위치는 최고 입니다 해변도 걸어2 분정도 거리고요 조식도 깔끔하게 괜찮게 나왔고 수영장도 밤에 잠깐씩 이용하며 잘 지냈습니다

Hotellet låg bra till både för uteliv och strandliv. Servicen kunde vara bättre, ingen reservation fanns när vi kom fram men vi fick ett rum efter mycket om och men.

メインロード側とDモールのトイレの横と出入り口が2つあり、直接Dモールへ行けるのは便利でした。ビーチまでは徒歩2分くらいかな?ホテルのプールは小さく、部屋も古いですが、広くです。あと階段の踊り場にウォーターサーバーがあり、水は飲み放題です。

보라카이는 이번이 처음인데 바로 전 여행이 코사무이여서 리조트는 많이 비굑가 되더라구요. 위치하나는 끝내줍니다, 바로 디몰옆이여셔 편했구요. 다만 객실자체청소는 깨끗했지만 아쉬웠던건. . . .방 자체내에서 나는 냄새는. . . ..어쩔수가 없었습니다. 여기서 2 박하고 페어웨이 블루워터로 옮겼는데. 디몰하고 가까운게 확실히 편했습니다.

저희는 프로모로 해서 저렴한 가격으로 디럭스룸을 사용할수 있어서 너무 좋았답니다. 비치랑 지리적으로도 가깝구요, 직원분들도 친절했어요 이용하지는 못했지만, 수영장도 있고 맛있는 조식도 먹을수 있어요. 저희는 숙박에 큰 비중을 두지 않았는데, 예상보다 정말 좋은 숙소였답니다.

입구가 총 2개가 있는데 하나는 트라이씨클 다니는 디몰 입구 쪽에 있구여, 하나는 디몰 중심에 조그맣게 있어요. 그래서 디몰과 왔다갔다 하기 정말 편하구요. 화이트 비치까지는 걸어서 5-10분정도 돼요. 제가 제일 걱정한 건 접근성과 청결도 였는데, 해변 바로 앞은 아니지만 디몰 중심에 위치해서 구경하며 왔다갔다 하면 바다까지 금방이구요..전 여자 혼자 숙박했는데 밤에 다녀도 외지거나 위험하지도 않아서 좋았어요. 그리고 두번째는 청결도인데, 이 부분은 정말 맘에 들었어요. 제가 묵은 방은 더블베드 두개 있는 패밀리 룸이었는데, 침대 시트도 뽀송하고 깨끗했구요, 온수 진짜 잘 나왔구요!(마닐라에 있는 우리집보다 더 뜨신 물이 콸콸 나왔어요!) 수압도 쎘고. 에어컨 소음 그닥 심하지 않고 정말 빵빵했어요. 그리고 베란다가 딸려있어서 젖은 수영복과 수건 널어놓을 수 있구요(건조대는 없었어요ㅠ). 수영장이 있긴 한데 물관리가 굉장히 잘 되는 편은 아닌 듯했어요, 그렇다고 더러운 건 아니구요 ㅋ 수영하는 사람도 별로 없구 관상용의 느낌이 ㅎㅎ 비록 1박이었지만 바퀴벌레, 모기 단 한마리도 없었구. 복도 천정에 도마뱀만 좀 있더라구요 ㅎㅎ 다시 가더라도 여기서 묵고 싶을 정도로 좋았어요! 딱 한가지 아쉬운 점이 있다면 현관문이 좀 허술? 실내에 있는 나무문 같이 눌러잠그는 문이에요. 근데 보라카이 대부분 숙소가 문은 좀 허접하더라구요. 그래도 누가 억지로 열고 들어올 정도는 아니었어요. ㅎㅎ 아무튼 좋아요! 추천합니다! 프로모가로 싸게 가서 더 좋았어요 ㅎ

The hotel seems to need a bit of better management. Everything seems a bit unorganized. The reception forgot to return my passport when i did check-in(part of my responsibility to, but after long travel your tired). They find that out after like an hour. I did request transfer back to the airport and did ask for time to get pick up. They told me that they will call me on the room the same day the transfer was.Room service was bad. I run out of toilette paper twice. Second time a did go down to ask to get some new once. But no one turn up. So i did call the reception ask where they where.Breakfast is pretty good more like a small meal. The thing is when i was there they was always out of something food/bread. Then the pool rules is a bit unclear of witch type of swim suit you need to wear. This hotel could be really great if they just used a bit of buffer things like 1 extra toilet roll if you run out. And there are 3 people working at breakfast use one of them to see if something if begin to run out. Not change it when it is no food left.The room was really clean and nice. And the location is really good. Next to D-mall.

For this Christmas vacation, we go w family and friends for our vacation in baracay, one of our big mistake is choose this hotel. before we book this hotel, we found out only this hotel have enough room for us, we are 7 adults, 6 kids. oldest kid is 12 yrs old. before we book this hotel, we found out that the reviews is more negative comments, so we call direct to their manila reservation office and tell them our plan and age of kids, they suggest we book 4 deluxe rooms, because all room have 2 queen beds. so we book our 4 rooms thru agoda and hotels.com, Unfortunally, when we arrived, the front dest told us that the 11 and 12 yrs old kid have to pay extra bed. but the Manila office explaination before we book is different, this time explaination is useless. All we can do is pay for it, feel not well. we check again agoda and hotels.com web site, all the deluxe room is for 3 adult or 2 adult or 2 kids. some of the reviews of this hotel are same experience with us. This hotel seems using this ugly method for earning money. This hotel is not honest to their guest. WORSE EXPERIENCE.

I booked this hotel as a back up accommodation as we travelled as a group. The reception staff were very nice. What really bothered me were the cats with ticks wandering around the dining area during breakfast. It was very unhygienic in my standards. I was also offended when I was told off when members of my family came to pick me up. I wasn't informed that they have to log in when I've check in.

The worst hotel I ever stayed. If you are considering a vacation that you want to experience the following,then book to this hotel.: 1. Eating breakfast with many cats roaming around.Yes,small and big,black and white,name it they have it.Just ask the receptionist!?! 2. Paying for a small coupon that you need to present during breakfast. If you happen to lose them you need to pay php400 even if you paid it already!much more expensive than an affidavit of lost.Stupid! Ridiculous! Double jeopardy is it not?!?Maybe they havent tried having a master list of their guests!!!So they merely depend on small coupons..so be careful,otherwise you'll end up NOT allowed to eat your PAID food!good for them sorry for their guests!!thats an unbreakable rule they implement! 3. Sleeping in the room while mosquitoes roam around also!How big?!?try and experience their annoying sounds!zzzzz in your ears,eyes,face and legs!!!good music ryt?!? 4. Staffs that are so mean!Need to ask assistance and consult from higher court(?!?)no matter how small your concern is. 5. Too many dont's and charges with their stupid rules as if you are a school child disciplined by your parents 6. Go for breakfast at 9am and you'll eat food as cold as baguio. 7. After booking this hotel, it was obvious from reading the reviews that many hadn't enjoyed their stay at the Grand Boracay Resort. As such, there was some trepidation when we arrived. Fortunately, we found that, whilst the house rules were extensive, the staff were friendly, helpful and the hotel itself was clean and safe. Whilst we did hear some complaints from others staying there, we had a nice room - functioning a/c, in room safe, clean bedding and shower etc - felt we were in a good location and secure. There was a guard 24/7 on the inner gate and the outer gate was locked after dark. The staff helped us book transport to and from the airport and were helpful in communicating changes etc to the other companies. Breakfast wasn't amazing- but we ate! On Boracay there are some beautiful and delicious restaurants to sample at reasonable prices so it wasn't a deal breaker. The house rules are VERY detailed. The oddest was not getting the room key wet, whilst the most common seemed to be not getting henna stains on the towels! If you are careful these rules are really no problem! You get what you pay for with Hotels, and as long as you are not expecting 5* luxury you should be fine. This is a decent quality, safe hotel in an excellent location. Our party- a couple and 2 male friends- found the experience on the whole very satisfactory. Boracay is a paradise island and there is a lot to enjoy!!!!

We booked this hotel not reading the reviews from tripadvisor, as i read reviews from previous vacationist i felt I made a wrong decision. But anyway we proceeded with our vacation and hotel, only to find out that many have been already revised, like staff are not rude or not polite, when we arrived Jan. 21 we were welcomed with a smilling face, they even explain politely the policy which some say takes your time. We finished in fee minutes also as commented that you will not be allowed when you are using board shorts, they allowed us to wear boardshorts provided that they is no zipper or metal bottons, althe cons about them is i booked my hotel via agoda and made a modificatiom about my special request which the receptionist did not received. Anyway the aircon is cool the the cr is clean except for some few anys near the telephone table. Over all as we are currently staying now i canmot comment about the fees collected for spotting the bed sheets but i called the attention of the attendant about the few stain when we arrived on the sheet, but i was asssured that this is no problem and it came from the laundry. Other Tips for 1st time in boracay. Buy your souvier not in the boracay station but here in talipapa its way much cheaper. One item we bought there is magnetic ceramic boracay display it cost P75-150 per piece but when we inquire here it only cost P45-50 may be lower depending on how many you are going to buy. Also foods are expensive in the stations but a little cheaper in talipapa. Thanks Nhyll Aquino

The Facilities and Location are Good, The web site Photos are fairly accurate. I took the deluxe which said there were two doubles, but they did not join together, as one picture showed. The Staff were very good, at the front desk, security and cleaning. The furniture TV, beds, safe and shower, were all in good condition. It’s a bit over 100-150 meters to the beach, the access through Demall Although the bathroom had no exhaust fan and a little window with a sign on it saying "Always keep this window closed". The side entrance via Demall, is far from grand (pictures attached) The pool area is great, but it is in full view of reception, so if you’re a little shy about your body, its not so good. For booking transfers, do not book through the hotel, they wanted 610 peso each and I got it down the road for 720 for 2(Southwest), or Cebu Pac Air sells it for 400 per person each way.( I hate being ripped off, it’s not so much the money, it’s the principal). The Wi-Fi worked in the lobby, but was hopeless in or near the room. There are lots of restaurants nearby, but I found the service and the value lacking. I would recommend Hobbit House, for good service, food and occasionally live music. When booking tours, you can usually get them for at least half the price, that the sellers on the beach have them advertised for. One tour I booked was 10,000, on the card but I paid 4,000. In general a fun place for good times

Having read other reviews prior to arrival we had low expectations and in fairness the facilities were fine and it was really close to the beach. There are a lot of rules, for example you get fined for stains on towels/bed linen but we were given stained towels through our stay and they didn't seem to really be that fussed about how clean they were. My main issue was that we booked a 'junior suite' which was almost double the price which our friends staying in which was basically the same room but slightly smaller. It was definitely not worth the money and I would advise to book the most basic room possible/cheapest as there is little variation. In booking a suite I expected some sort of living area in the room or separate lounge which there wasn't, we didn't get our room cleaned each day unless you specifically asked and often towels ran out so you had to heave beach towels. There was no hair drier either which I would expect. The 'slippers provided as second hand shoes not replaced for each guest. We also found that since the only windows in the room were along the front walkway of the hotel and guests can pass at any time we kept our curtains shut at all times which made us quite groggy and sleep later than we normally would, I think to be able to open them at night.

Our stay started with the wrong rooms which they refused to change and said it was our fault because we booked through Agoda. Management were sleeping at 2.00pm check in so we couldn't speak to them. We asked every day to change rooms but they refused to upgrade us to the rooms we booked and paid for. It's one of those places where the focus is on trying to get extra money from you by fines and you feel nothing but an inconvenience to them. You can't swim in that pool with board shorts as board shorts make the pool too dirty. Really.... I only saw three people in the pool over a week due to this ridiculous rule. There are signs up everywhere advising of the fines you'll have to pay for breaking the rules. They fined one couple US$25 upon check out because their key was wet. There was rubbish on the steps on the day we arrived and it was still there one week later upon check out. There are many better options in Boracay.

This hotel has more rules than a Japanese POW Camp. In addition, they have a posting at the front desk informing guests that there will be a penalty for soiled sheets -- for example, henna, blood, and fruit juices. Fortunately, skid marks appear to be ok. Never have I seen such a ridiculous notification at a hotel. All of this for overpriced rooms, abysmal wifi, and furniture that must have been nice during the Nixon administration.

We had our Team Building in Boracay for 3 days and booked in Grand Boracay Resort. Instead of enjoying the vacation, we were aggravated by the staff, hotel policies that were not discussed when we did our booking such as presenting an I.D.even for the house help who went with us or the children and not allowing our visitors in unless they have I.D.s with them. Water smelled like rust, staff were not trained to face customers in a professional manner. Service was slow and everything seem to have cost. The rooms were okay but had a lot of mosquitoes. I think it would have been better to have the place fumigated. Throw pillows smelled awful and could use a bit of washing I suppose. I highly do not recommend this hotel for people who like to enjoy their vacation with ease.
