Very close to the park, beach and restaurants, sweet pool, large rooms, friendly staff. Only bad thing was the towels were kind of old, clean but very thin.

Awesome stay. The hotel personal were very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was spectacular, looking straight into the pacific ocean. The grounds at the hotel are very well kept. There are two restaurants, the main restaurant and a seafood restaurant. Both with very good food and no need to go anywhere else. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Some restaurants are at walking distance from the hotel. There is a hotel shuttle that will take you to the beach and the Manuel Antonio National Park. The public transportation and taxis are easy to get. We booked all our tours through the hotel which included transportation, so our car rental rested at the hotel the three days we were there. There is a cinema at the hotel where we sat and watched a few movies after each dinner. The only negative is that they use the old key system to access your room instead of a magnetic card, so you have to carry this huge wooden key chain carved like a fish that does not fit in your pockets. Other than that I would re-book this hotel next time I am in the area.

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Ambiente. The German Lady who runs the hotel is very friendly, helpful and a perfect chef. Everything is clean and well maintained. The view from the terrasse and the pool is stunning. It's better to get there with a SUV, the street 2km uphill from the mainroad is unpaived and a bit steep. 100% recommended.

Incredible view. Very relaxing and inviting place. The Master Suite is the perfect anniversary celebration accommodation. The road in and out of the Villa is not for those that want to travel in and out a lot - this is a get there and relax location.

The central coast of Costa Rica seems to be a place for those with an adventurous spirit and this hotel is no exception. Very clean, modern construction, great views, friendly staff and great food (breakfast is a great selection of sliced fruits, deli meats, cheeses, bread and eggs; dinner is extra but great food at a reasonable price). But, the road […] from the coastal highway up 3 km to the hotel is mostly steep, somewhat rutted and a stream crossing near the bottom will block passage for a few hours during the heaviest of rains. this will be an interesting challenge for some, an unbearable burden and hassle for the less adventurous. The rooms could use screens on the windows and sliding door to the balcony. Evening breezes can be a lovely way to cool the room for bedtime, but can leave the room buggy. The views from the rooms and especially from the pool area are as excellent as the website photos look. Read more

If you like an intimate experience without the large crowds of a resort I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is breath taking. After a week we felt like family. Dominical is a cool surfers location and not commercialized like Tamarindo. I highly recommend this hotel and area.

Pasamos 3 dias estupendos en el hotel. El lugar es precioso metido en la montaña, por las mañanas se escuchan y ven muchos pajaritos y al atardecer se escuchan los monos. El servicio y la comida excelente. Lugar ideal para descansar, disfrutar de la naturaleza y pasear por la zona sur del pais.
