We enjoyed our stay at the Grand. It was conveniently located, clean, comfortable and quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
A bit hard to find but was quite nice. Close to nice restaurants, close to walking paths, room was a comfortable suite with small deck. Breakfast a bit lacking (as compared to a B&B) but enough to tide us over until lunch. Front desk very accommodating and in a lovely neighborhood. I recommend it as a stop over between mid-Maine and Newport, RI.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"How to enjoy two cold and windy days!"
The hotel was warm and cozy after a long walk in the wind.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Basicly, an apartment, blocks from the cove"
Older, but clean and unique. Big rooms, perfect for longer stays.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Everything is a walk away"
The only problem we had with our vacation, was the weather on Sunday, it rained. Other than that, the marginal walk was awesome, following the ocean! Everything in the stores were on sale because of the end of the season! What a beautiful area!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fall foliage trip to Maine"
This was our second stay at the Grand Horel in Ogunquit. It is a lovely facility of suites. It is well appointed but simple , clean, and very accommodating in use. It's a short walk to all of Oqunquit attractions and has a very nice continental breakfast. It's a great place in my bookGenuine Expedia guest review
Excellent accommodations couldn't have asked for more. Nice living room with a great view of flowers bedroom very nicely sized overall just everything was fineGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Well situated hotel"
I was staying with my daughter and we both enjoyed our stay. The hotel was well situated to both downtown Ogunquit and to Perkin's Cove. Both a short walk. Also the trolley stop was right outside the hotel. The entrance to the Marginal Way also very close. All and all an excellent location.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Very enjoyable stay"
The size of the room was pleasantly surprising :-)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was incredibly nice and the location was perfect- near the beach, downtown Ogunquit, the Marginal way and perkins cove. Highly recommend!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just what we wanted"
I've been to other Ogunquit hotels, and they are fine, too but we liked the size of this place and it was just a bit off the main (oceanfront) business. Close to Perkins Cove was a plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay in Maine."
Wonderful stay! Would come here again. Walking distance to the ocean and other places of interest.Genuine Expedia guest review
We were very charmed by the hotel and the town of Ogunquit. We took a hotel brochure and plan on returning to The Grand.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The showerhead was a bit low, ( I had to duck under and I'm only 5' 9") but otherwise the room was niceGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"In the Mix of it all; walking distance the perfect"
Excellent. Clean and quite. Good continential breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is in a great location -- so convenient to Perkins Cove and away from the crowds. It is within walking distance of the Cove with its large choice of restaurants and some interesting shops. The view was amazing there. While the room was not exceptional, it was adequate and the location made up the difference.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Love it. We plan on coming back and staying longer. It was very convenient to restaurants and beach.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
If we had anything that was less than satisfactory it would have been the breakfast. There was no option in flavors of yogurt ,quality of coffee could have been better. I also missed having bananas. This would not keep us from coming back though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"walking distance to sights"
We just returned from a mini 3 day vacation at the Grand Hotel. The hotel was ideally situated to walk to the sights and restaurants at Perkins Cove about 10 minutes away. Going the other way we could walk to Ogunquit town center in 10 minutes or the beach in 15 minutes. We also had our bikes with us which we used for about 4 hours each day going to […] Kennebunk one day and York the next. We used the elevator to bring the bikes to the deck in our room. Room was a suite and very clean with king size bed. Rate included continental breakfast which was average. My wife likes hot tea which was difficult to find, particularly at this hotel. Hotel also had a heated pool and hot tub but the weather was so nice we spent most of the time outdoors. They also had a nice outside deck to enjoy breakfast or a post dinner drink. Would definitely go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Would definitely return!"

Because of a change in family travel plans we ended up actually being at the Grand Hotel for a very short time period- a matter of a few hours to sleep. The staff was quite accommodating in helping us adjust our travel plan and allowed a middle of the night check-in. We were up early to see the beautiful sunrise at the nearby Marginal Way. Sorry we didn't have longer at this very nice hotel and well-appointed suite.

Looking to celebrate my husband's birthday and came upon The Grand Hotel. We usually stay nearer or town but ventured into a new place. We loved, loved, loved The Grand Hotel!!!! Close to Perkin's Cove and our suite was so comfortable and spacious and the staff so helpfully, lobby so welcoming and comfortable . Staying at the opposite end of our regular resort we ventured into new restaurants that we loved!!! Will definitely return - this is our new fall place to go!!!!
"Another Grand weekend"

The hotel is amazingly clean and updated. All rooms are suites with separate living room, small kitchenette and large living room 2 flat screen televisions and free breakfast in the lobby. Indoor pool and outside hot tub that was great for cool November evenings . Extremely polite, friendly staff will go out of their way to assist you with anything from directions to dinner reservations. Would recommend whole heartedly. Only drawback is there is no quick access to the Marginal Way. A short walk to Perkins Cove but if you want to walk the Marginal Way you would have to go to the end at SparkHawk hotel to end or a very steep walk from Israel Head Road in either direction.
"A Quiet Retreat in Ogunquit"

Right on Shore Road and close to Perkins Cove, the Grand Hotel has spacious and comfortable suite style rooms along with pleasant and helpful staff. We have seen negative comments on this site about the light buffet breakfast available here but we think those with realistic expectations will think it's perfectly adequate. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Grand Hotel to our friends.
"The Grand is grand!"

We always enjoy staying here when on the Maine coast. The staff is so accommodating. It is close to lots of things: shop in Perkins Cove, walk the Marginal Way. etc. We've be coming here and staying at the Grand once or twice a year for several years now.
"Fall Trip at Ogunquit "the Grand Hotel""
11/03/14 Larry N N Apalachin, New York
The Grand Hotel is a great place for a fall vacation. It is very close to Perkins Cove (5 minutes walk). It has a very nice pool and "hot tub". I was a very relaxing stay. It is in close proximity to other "Down East" locales.

Grand Hotel is a wonderful go to place, relaxing, considerate employees. Rooms are the best warm and cozy, king bed. Comforts of home away from home. We love traveling to Ogunquit, we have been coming here for 22 years, we travel to Maine twice a year, just started staying here in October and have made the Grand Hotel our second Ogunquit place to stay. No disappointment here will happily return to Ogunquit, we have had great experiences here we look forward to our return in 2015.

The Grand Hotel is a convenient location on Shore Road. Easy walk to downtown and Perkins Cove. Love the comfortable rooms and breakfasts every morning. Staff are very considerate and helpful. Close to the theater, which has the "best" shows. Will definitely come back again and recommend.

Had an excellent relaxing time at the Grand Hotel. We will definitely stay again. We stayed in the penthouse suite. Very cozy in the living room with the fireplace. The hotel had an inn feel to it but you had your privacy as well. Staff was great, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. Nice that you are so close to Perkins cove and the marginal way walking trail. Excellent restaurants in walking distance. Can't wait to go back. Thank you!
