A bit hard to find but was quite nice. Close to nice restaurants, close to walking paths, room was a comfortable suite with small deck. Breakfast a bit lacking (as compared to a B&B) but enough to tide us over until lunch. Front desk very accommodating and in a lovely neighborhood. I recommend it as a stop over between mid-Maine and Newport, RI.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"How to enjoy two cold and windy days!"
The hotel was warm and cozy after a long walk in the wind.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Basicly, an apartment, blocks from the cove"
Older, but clean and unique. Big rooms, perfect for longer stays.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Everything is a walk away"
The only problem we had with our vacation, was the weather on Sunday, it rained. Other than that, the marginal walk was awesome, following the ocean! Everything in the stores were on sale because of the end of the season! What a beautiful area!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fall foliage trip to Maine"
This was our second stay at the Grand Horel in Ogunquit. It is a lovely facility of suites. It is well appointed but simple , clean, and very accommodating in use. It's a short walk to all of Oqunquit attractions and has a very nice continental breakfast. It's a great place in my bookGenuine Expedia guest review
Excellent accommodations couldn't have asked for more. Nice living room with a great view of flowers bedroom very nicely sized overall just everything was fineGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Well situated hotel"
I was staying with my daughter and we both enjoyed our stay. The hotel was well situated to both downtown Ogunquit and to Perkin's Cove. Both a short walk. Also the trolley stop was right outside the hotel. The entrance to the Marginal Way also very close. All and all an excellent location.Genuine Expedia guest review

The size of the room was pleasantly surprising :-)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was incredibly nice and the location was perfect- near the beach, downtown Ogunquit, the Marginal way and perkins cove. Highly recommend!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just what we wanted"
I've been to other Ogunquit hotels, and they are fine, too but we liked the size of this place and it was just a bit off the main (oceanfront) business. Close to Perkins Cove was a plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay in Maine."
Wonderful stay! Would come here again. Walking distance to the ocean and other places of interest.Genuine Expedia guest review
We were very charmed by the hotel and the town of Ogunquit. We took a hotel brochure and plan on returning to The Grand.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The showerhead was a bit low, ( I had to duck under and I'm only 5' 9") but otherwise the room was niceGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"In the Mix of it all; walking distance the perfect"
Excellent. Clean and quite. Good continential breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is in a great location -- so convenient to Perkins Cove and away from the crowds. It is within walking distance of the Cove with its large choice of restaurants and some interesting shops. The view was amazing there. While the room was not exceptional, it was adequate and the location made up the difference.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Love it. We plan on coming back and staying longer. It was very convenient to restaurants and beach.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
If we had anything that was less than satisfactory it would have been the breakfast. There was no option in flavors of yogurt ,quality of coffee could have been better. I also missed having bananas. This would not keep us from coming back though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"walking distance to sights"
We just returned from a mini 3 day vacation at the Grand Hotel. The hotel was ideally situated to walk to the sights and restaurants at Perkins Cove about 10 minutes away. Going the other way we could walk to Ogunquit town center in 10 minutes or the beach in 15 minutes. We also had our bikes with us which we used for about 4 hours each day going to […] Kennebunk one day and York the next. We used the elevator to bring the bikes to the deck in our room. Room was a suite and very clean with king size bed. Rate included continental breakfast which was average. My wife likes hot tea which was difficult to find, particularly at this hotel. Hotel also had a heated pool and hot tub but the weather was so nice we spent most of the time outdoors. They also had a nice outside deck to enjoy breakfast or a post dinner drink. Would definitely go back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We spent a great four day weekend here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a large front porch with big rocking chairs. The lobby area opens up three stories with a beautiful chandelier. The parking is underground with luggage carts available for your use [very helpful for those of us who over pack]. Our room was on the second floor, it was very spacious. The balcony was great, very private, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. We will definitely be back next year!
"Practically perfect in every way"

We were visiting the area to attend a surprise destination 40th birthday party. Though we started looking for hotels months in advance, it appeared that many were already booked. There was availability at much higher rates and much lower rates, neither of which appealed to us. We also tend to stay at chain hotels so we have a better idea of what to expect. There are none in this area. We found the Grand Hotel moderately priced so we decided to book. We were very pleased with our choice immediately upon arrival. We were on the first floor just off the lobby/breakfast area and thought it might be loud. Upon entering the room there was a large sitting area before the bed room. We had zero noise issues. The accommodations were clean and included a refrigerator, microwave, wine glasses and bathroom amenities that were all very handy. The breakfast was included and was sufficient to start the day with. There were two flat screen TV's. One in the bedroom and one in the sitting area. The AC worked well and there was plenty of hot water. (All things we worry about when going off brand!). The location was perfect and there was parking underneath the building. We would have given this 5 stars, but the furniture and facilities were slightly dated. This didn't make any real difference in our stay and we would recommend highly and stay there again,
"Great location for walkers"

Placed between downtown Ogunquit and Perkins Cove (closer to the latter), this hotel is a convenient spot for those who'd like to walk to either location. Free parking at the hotel is a plus, and not needing to move the car in busy Ogunquit is nice. We had a small suite which included a microwave, small refrigerator, bar sink, and a private balcony. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom seemed recently updated, though the ceiling fan was quite loud. Breakfast is free, but as others have noticed, the choices dwindle through the breakfast hours. It doesn't seem that items are replenished, though there was still enough to choose from. We also used the indoor swimming pool, which was clean and a comfortable temperature. The hot tub is outside, less enticing when it is raining! The staff we spoke with was very warm and friendly. Oddly, the area around the elevator always seemed to have a disinfectant smell. We enjoyed the large public balcony on the second floor.
The staff were very accomidating and very kind to myself and my husband who is in a wheelchair. The service was un-heard of in today's world. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. We can't wait to go back.

Large clean rooms, very comfortable beds, friendly staff, and very close to Perkins Cove. Breakfast was satisfactory but there were no hot items and very limited seating. Pool was small and we didn't use it but it looked clean and nice.

Loved staying at the Grand Hotel - it was convenient to so many things! People were friendly, helpful, and the place was a perfect start to our Maine vacation. Fell in love with the town of Ogunquit - want to go back! Breakfast is included:-)

If you want to stay near Perkins Cove and Downtown Ogunquit it is a very good location. Plenty of walking to do, great for the Marginal Way. I stayed in a suite which was large and comfy, clean and quiet. Pool is right off the main desk, not very private, breakfast is average, just the basic's.

The hotel is well located in the centre of the main street, very quiet and clean; 10 minutes walk to a beach. Cold breakfeast is ok an the staff is very helpfull for information and reservations. Ideal for a short stay on the north east coast.
"Have stayed time and again and never disappointed."

The rooms are great. You fill like you are at a five star resort in the Islands without the high price. Very peaceful and such a wonderful location. If you have guests the rooms are such that there is a living room so everyone is not sitting on your nice king size bed.
"Comfort convenience and great service"

This is our first time here. We found it by a happy accident and when we come back we will stay here. We are on the first floor in a suite which includes a small deck. We are comfortable and happy to have the amenities of a refrigerator, microwave, and breakfast that is a cut above the usual fare. We have to thank Janel at reception in particular. She has been exceptionally helpful and kind. There is a pool and sauna as well. Can't ask for anything better.
