"Great staff, less than great hotel."
Stayed at Tune for 3 nights while in London. Hotel was difficult to find even though I provided the cab driver the address and points of interest. I was thankful that Expedia provided a photo of the hotel or it may have never been found. My first room was okay except the toilet didn't flush. The staff immediately gave me a room to sleep in "for the […] night" and the problem would be fixed first thing in the morning. The "for the night" room didn't even have room to walk - you stepped into the room and the only thing you could do was enter the bathroom or sit on the bed. I was out working the whole next day and did not return to the room until after 11pm. The toilet was not fixed. The staff relocated me to another room (finally!). The room was acceptable, although the sink stopper in the bathroom was permanently closed. Pulled the stopper out completely and things were okay. The staff was great, really! I wish the hotel met a minimum expectation. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Just for one night"
It's my first time to visit London with my friends. We booked online from our home country. At Lambeth Tunes,Yes it is very near to everything but the rooms are soooooo tiny. And the room they gave us is on the 6 th floor but the lift is only upto 5th floor.so we had to drag our luggages using the stairs. Checked in is by 2 pm we were checking in by […] 1:30pm and the lady mentioned that the room is not yet ready. But the check out time is 10am meaning its not even 24 hours.the worst part is the next day they had to charge us to leave our bag for few hours. I won't recommend this hotel. We did not receive the promised "view" . . . we were in a room with no windows and not enough room for 2 people to pass each other without one having to climb on the bed. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't live up to the promise in my reservation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location, small rooms"
After I got over the fact of how small my room was...then I was ok..! The location is perfect, rt next to Lambeth North underground station, very close walking distance to London Eye, the Big Ben, and there are many restaurants, bars, and a grocery ministore rt across the street. "Good location, small rooms"
Hotel generally is good, clean, in exellent location, everything what is necessary and interesting is near and easy to get. The main problem was the room - never faced such tiny (around 5-7 m2), room, was impossible to open a suit case or turn around without hitting anything. In the bathroom shower was extremely close to the lavaratoryGenuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you pay for"
Our room was the size advertised, small. This is not a place for kids. Everything worked, was clean, and comfortable as could be given the size. The location was great for us. We saw most of London we wanted to see on foot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I liked it here. The only thing was that when I left my room I realized that my door didn't lock behind me so they had to give me a real key to lock my door so be sure to check when you leave!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was very shocked to see such a small room. It had a bed and a very small TV, There was no room to put your luggage down except on the windowsill or in the doorway. The bathroom was the same size as a cruise ship. Yes it was clean and the staff was nice. It was close to the London Eye and many attractions.Genuine Expedia guest review
Small accommodations, with a teeny bathroom that is perfectly usable. As long as you read what your reservation comes with in terms of internet use, television, safe, and towels, or are prepared to pay extra for these the room is a fine place to crash if you spend most of your time exploring London, but not a room you'd want to spend a lot of time in. […] Also the hotel desk staff weren't very helpful or knowledgeable about the area or how best to get to big tourist sites in London which would have been useful. "Great location on budget"
Small modern room equipped with everything you could need. Tube station right across the street gets you straight to the Picadilly Circus and to other tube lines. Costas coffee shop right next door for morning coffee :)Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was a quick walk from sites like the London Eye, Big Ben & Westminster Abbey & had a tube station right across the street. Room was small but we weren't in London to spend our time in the hotel. Staff was very very helpful. Our only real complaint was cleanliness. Sheets had hairs on them. Room also got really warm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Bleed you dry..."
I haven't stayed in any other hotels in London but I have stayed in a couple others in Europe and the Tune Hotel has a billion and one hidden fees. If you want your room cleaned more than once in a 3 day period then they charge you extra. If you want more than two towels within that 3 days it costs extra. (They only gave us one). Wifi, early check in, […] holding bags before or after your stay and probably more is extra. The hotel looks really nice and updated in the pictures but the rooms are tiny. We had a lot of luggage and had trouble finding spots to put it since you only have about a 1 ft walk way around the bed. The lounge and rooms are updated. The rooms aren't dirty or anything but they don't have any of the amenities you would think a hotel would offer you normally. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to tube station but poor customer service"
Hotel room only big enough for 1 guest. No place for suitcase or toiletries in bathroom. Shower floor flooded. Since no phone in room had to go to front desk tp request it be fixed. No response. The room was much smaller than we expected. The staff were very helpful in moving us to a "larger" room. The first room was spotless.. very clean. The second room was less clean, but slightly larger. Great location near all the sights.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall good. Floor was not clean, when I wiped up an area with the towel, layers of grime came up. Staff was outstanding: friendly and helpful...seemed to be a team. Room was very small. Location perfect, Lambeth North subway right next door and many good restaurants nearby...interesting neighborhood, felt safe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location for certain sights!"
All the things I really wanted to see were in a very short walking distance! London Eye, Westminster Abbey and House of Parliament. Started in the handicap room which was spacious, but the shower was very poorly constructed and leaked all over the bathroom floor. Switched to a room about half the size, but as long as it's just two people you will have […] enough room, just no privacy from the other person in the room with you. Nice view of a few structures in London from our room window! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay at Tune was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, pricing, and modern, but devasatatigly small rooms, and overall lacking in quality. But super location, secure, and priced very well.Genuine Expedia guest review
Tune was clean and staff was friendly. Though, beware- they don't clean rooms everyday and also charge for EVERYTHING. For example, internet was extra , tv was extra and they charged me to keep my bags behind the counter first day I checked in and was too early , which I think is really bad business. There were no phones in the room and my neighbors […] were loud. The last night I was there my neighbors decided to move rooms at midnight and spent the next two hours slamming their door. I complained to front desk but nothing was done. Why the hotel allowed them to move at midnight is beyond me. It was convenient and clean. Rooms are VERY small. For price, was exceptional, just passable. The location was fantastic because of it's proximity to the tube. I would look for another place to stay in London next time before booking again. All in all it was ok. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
First, when we got there to check in, it took forever. The lady was so busy giving wrong information (which was corrected by an off duty employee). Then we get to our room. The bed was made but it was NEVER cleaned. Dirty sheets, dirty towels, used bar soap, dirty shower...just gross. So we headed back to the office. She followed us to the room, confirmed […] it was unclean and then took us to a room on the top floor. Te elevator only goes up to five, so you have to take the stairs. We declined because our bags are heavy and those stairs would be exhausting after a long day of walking. We settled in a different room. The rooms are uncomfortably small. Sheets are hard and you get one pillow each. There are also NO PHONES in the room, so if you need something (like the heat turned off because the controls didn't work) you have to keep going down. Which we did multiple times. Our last day, as my husband and I were getting dressed, an employee opens the door...without knocking!! All in all, nice location being close to the Underground but find somewhere else if you can. Super disappointed and would NEVER stay or recommend this hotel, even if we got a good deal. Customer service was poor and so was this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Tiny Room, Good Location"
If you want a terribly good laugh, then try this hotel as it is ridiculously bad (laughably). To start out with....my college dorm room was twice the size of this hotel room (no exaggeration). Lol...... you cannot sit on the toilet straight as your legs will hit the wall in front of you. There were literally no amenities in the room. They don't provide […] towels, soap, lotion, nada. By the way, we had to hall our luggage up a narrow flight of stairs because there was no elevator access to the 6th Floor. In this hotel's defense, it has a good location close to many main attractions. Otherwise, this hotel is generally junk with a tiny room and no amenities. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Tiny room, but great location. A very smart hotel concept for a short stay. Clean and modern bathroom and comfortable bed, just no space to put your bed down.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Less fluff for less money"
The Tune is very up front about the size of the rooms and lack of extras. Do not expect to find a coffee pot or a closet in your room. What you will get is a clean, well maintained room with a helpful staff at a very reasonable price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"You're right smack middle of everything"
To sum it up - the hotel was OKAY. But it was great having it so close to everything in London.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Helpful staff and Great Location!"
I really enjoyed this Hotel. I went to London from America and didn't know my way around the area. "A bargain the minimalist traveller will appreciate"
If all you expect from a hotel is a place to sleep and take a hot shower, you'll really enjoy your stay in one of these small, basic rooms. The hotel is in a great location and costs far less than its fancy neighbors.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value but just plain uncomfortable"
It is a quick walk to all the tourist spots such as the London Eye and Big Ben, which is awesome. Overall it is a pretty good value for a budget traveler. Problem is our spring bed was so stiff and uncomfortable that I couldn't even get a full night's rest. There is also nowhere to put your luggage in the tiny room so you have to crawl over it to move […] around. I've stayed at small places before that did a much better job of providing shelves and space over and under the bed to free up room for walking. I wouldn't recommend it because of such low comfort level, but if those things don't bother you then it's an otherwise good choice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The location was wonderful. You really can't beat the price staying within a few blocks of Big Ben. The toilet had an issue, where it kept running , draining nonstop. The front desk first said they had no other rooms to transfer us to. I suggested they call a 24 hour plumber. They said they cannot. After the front desk girl investigated the toilet, […] she jammed it to stop from draining and magically opened up another room for us to stay in. The room are tiny, which is fine because if you are spending excessive time in your hotel room in central London, something is up. Enjoy the city, stay at this hotel. Just watch out for the plumbing. "Small but perfect for sightseeing nightowls"
This was exactly what I expected after reading the reviews - the room is the smallest you could ever possibly see, I mean my husband hit my head coming out of the bathroom because there was no where else to stand, however it was clean and PERFECTLY located in the middle of London, just next to the tube stop. "Good location, small rooms"
Great and convenient location. Minimal rooms (I'm ok with this, knew that going in, don't need the room but to sleep in it). Clean, well lit, modern facilities. One thing I didn't like was they won't check you in until 3pm, and check out is at 10am, convinced this is to get you to pay extra fees (leaving a luggage bag at reception is two pounds) TIP: […] If your stay doesn't include free wifi, or if you need a second device connected w/o paying extra, AND you are staying close to the ground floor, buy a coffee at the Costa located at the bottom to use their wifi Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasonable for the money"
TIny rooms, but the price was right. I can't emphasize enough how small the rooms are. However, it is very close to the Lambeth North tube stop and there is a small grocery store across the street. A coffee shop is next door, as is a bar.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very tiny hotel"
I was in a double room and the bed was incredible small, the room was so little that was unconfortable. Also we paid for safety box and they will never make it work but they did not refund any money. This is not what I was expecting at all. Shame because the location is very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Right next to the Waterloo underground station, easy walking to the river...small room, very clean, comfortable bed. Price was a steal!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
As my wife puts it, "it is what it is". The room was clean and neat, sure, but tiny is too big a word. There was insufficient floor space to place two carry-on bags. Small? The double bed fit neatly between two walls; our feet touched the wall at one end, and our heads almost touched the opposite. The walls are paper thin, or at least sounded like […] it. I liken this hotel to a cheap cruise ship, but in all fairness, cruise ships at least let you have a towel. Here, the towel charge was a pound fifty. Two people means two towels, which means an extra $4.80. On the other hand, if you're a student or a traveler with few expectations and all you really need is a room and a shower, this will do nicely. It was horribly expensive for such a crackerbox, though. If you're going to go, make reservations directly through the hotel and avoid even more expense. Hey, at least we got a window - not all rooms have 'em. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Small, tiny rooms, but cheap and convenient"
The room size wasn't the issue compared to the minuscule bathroom. Not recommended for anyone not intimate with room partner. You can see your roomie use the toilet through the glass shower door. "Pretty good for the price"
This is a nice hotel if you are a single guy/girl looking for a decent room in central London. "I was pleasantly surprised"
When having to travel to London on short notice and unable to book into one of my usual B&Bs, I had to look for another reasonably priced alternative. The hotel was located right next to the tube station which was fantastic, and the staff was friendly, the rooms are small but are arranged perfectly, so that its doesn't feel so small. Great stay at Tune Hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Check in and out was painless and easy. The lift like the rooms is tiny and I imagine that it is often congested, especially as the notice on the stairs said they were for emergency use only. The room was OK but miniscule. For myself who was just using it as a bed for a one night stay it was OK but for anyone wanting to relax other than sleep or spending […] a few nights there I can see issues.
