"Reasonable for the money"
TIny rooms, but the price was right. I can't emphasize enough how small the rooms are. However, it is very close to the Lambeth North tube stop and there is a small grocery store across the street. A coffee shop is next door, as is a bar.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very tiny hotel"
I was in a double room and the bed was incredible small, the room was so little that was unconfortable. Also we paid for safety box and they will never make it work but they did not refund any money. This is not what I was expecting at all. Shame because the location is very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Right next to the Waterloo underground station, easy walking to the river...small room, very clean, comfortable bed. Price was a steal!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
As my wife puts it, "it is what it is". The room was clean and neat, sure, but tiny is too big a word. There was insufficient floor space to place two carry-on bags. Small? The double bed fit neatly between two walls; our feet touched the wall at one end, and our heads almost touched the opposite. The walls are paper thin, or at least sounded like […] it. I liken this hotel to a cheap cruise ship, but in all fairness, cruise ships at least let you have a towel. Here, the towel charge was a pound fifty. Two people means two towels, which means an extra $4.80. On the other hand, if you're a student or a traveler with few expectations and all you really need is a room and a shower, this will do nicely. It was horribly expensive for such a crackerbox, though. If you're going to go, make reservations directly through the hotel and avoid even more expense. Hey, at least we got a window - not all rooms have 'em. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Small, tiny rooms, but cheap and convenient"
The room size wasn't the issue compared to the minuscule bathroom. Not recommended for anyone not intimate with room partner. You can see your roomie use the toilet through the glass shower door. Bathroom resembles a camper bathroom: toilet and sink in same space as the shower. That said, great great location in a friendly neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pretty good for the price"
This is a nice hotel if you are a single guy/girl looking for a decent room in central London. The room is small and so is the toilet but I think thats true fro any hotel so centrally located in a major city. The location is perfect. Waterloo station is close by so is the London eye and the parliament. and the hotel is right next to a London tube station […] making travelling extremely convenient. "I was pleasantly surprised"
When having to travel to London on short notice and unable to book into one of my usual B&Bs, I had to look for another reasonably priced alternative. Of course, being on the weekend of the Queens Diamond Jubilee didn't help. The Tunes Hotel came up as an option in TripAdvisor, so I thought I'd give it a chance since it would only be one night. While […] the room was pretty small, it was clean, comfortable and conveniently located rignt across the street from the Lambeth North stop on the U and a five minute walk from the Waterloo Station. Very central location, a minutes walk from Big Ben and a 10second walk to an underground station. Staff where lovely and very helpful. Hotel and room was spotless! Only downside is how small the rooms are. They are impossibly small two people cannot stand in the room at the same timeGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very small room, but comfortable bed and very clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed two nights at the hotel. I booked double room and when I got to my room, it was so small and there was no space to put my suit case. When I complained to the hotel staff they said this is the size of the room. The bathroom is part of the room which make it look like preson sell. I will never stay at this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had stayed at Paddington Tune before, but our room in Westminster was even smaller and for someone who is 6' 6'' the en suite facility was not good. Our room overlooked a busy road junction and we got very little sleep owing to the numerous emergency vehicles passing. The staff were very polite and helpful but we will not be staying again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A good find but not the best sleeps I've had"
This little hotel has so much going for it. I was on business and it was just a short walk over Westminster Bridge to our offices. The hotel was spotless and the staff extremely friendly. Reading previous reviews I was worried about room size however my room was perfectly adequate and the show was excellent. The bed was fine, a little hard for me but […] that is personal preference. The ONLY negative to my stay, which I think the staff are aware of, is the really noisy ventilation system that stays on all the time. The room has its own aircon, that you can turn off - I'm not talking about that. There are two vents, one by the door and the other one in the shower which operate throughout the night. For a comparison, it sounded like there was a tumble dryer on constantly. This meant that I really didnt enjoy a good nights sleep across my 3 days. This was such a pity and something I brought to the hotels attention. It sounded like there was nothing the staff could do. Unfortunately, I would probably not stay here again due to this which is such a shame. Perhaps the hotel could respond to this review when they manage to solve the problem. I would certainly be happy to return if it was... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A good hotel"
The reception staff were lovely - very helpful and friendly. The rooms were extremely clean but so tiny, which is why the comfort rating was a 3 not a 5. We had a problem with our toilet flush - maintenance were called that evening (about 9pm) and tried their best to fix it. When the problem persisted a room move was made - no problems at all. We stayed […] for 2 nights and would use the hotel again. It was easy to get to and the location was perfect. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
A nice weekend getaway. Hotel was a good location. Staff friendly. The downside was that the double room was so tiny it was akin to a telephone box. Very disappointing for £120 per night. Lie on the bed sideways and you could touch both sides of the room - head to foot - and were not at full stretch. Certainly not as advertised in the photographs on […] the website. Sardine in tin springs to mind. Also we were there for two nights. The room was not cleaned once, nor bed made nor fresh towels daily. In fact, no one came to clean the room. Not good in that respect. However, on the whole it was a decent place, centrally located, clean and tidy. Not bad apart from the above comments and I hope there are larger rooms for some. Our stay in this hotel is horrible. In our last night stay, the smoke alarm in the room was on, one staff came and turn it off. He asked us to open the window for 10 mins and came back to fix the smoke alarm. However, 10 mins after he fixed it, the alarm was on again. The staff said we have to open the window for the night because the air conditioning […] was linked to the alarm. We asked to switch to another room, he said there was no room available. So, we had to sleep in a very noise night. (We stayed in second floor, with the window open, it was super noise). We absolutely won't stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Tune Hotel - Westminster, London Dear guest, I am sorry to hear that your stay was disrupted with the refrigerant leak alarms. Our maintenance was notified as soon as we received your comments and both the alarm box and AC unit have been checked. We hope you give us another chance in the near future in order to experience our usual high standards. Kind regards, Selenge Tsendsuren Guest relations
"Perfect for a couple"
This hotel exceeded my expectations. We arrived expecting to be crammed into a small space and we were. We expected to have a difficult time moving about the room and we did. However, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They didn't ask us to pay them for use of the printer when there were some small imperfections on the paper. Check-in was […] easy, check-out was easier. I would recommend this place to a single person or a married/dating couple. Definitely would not recommend to two people who aren't romantically involved as the quarters are too close and using the bathroom could prove an embarrassing situation. Otherwise, the Tune Hotel served our purpose entirely. Literally across the street from Lambeth North underground station which is on the Bakerloo line. Four stops and your in Picadilly Circus. Outstanding location for any commute. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Tiny Tiny Tiny"
Absolutely fine for the price in city centre London but the room was the smallest I have ever seen, my head and feet touched the wall on both sides of the room when I laid on the bed. Very funny but served the purpose, clean and friendly. You wouldn't want to stay more than a night or two though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Tune Hotel - Westminster, London Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing Tune Hotel Westminster, and taking time for reviewing your recent stay with us. I am glad to hear that we fulfilled your requirements in cleanliness, and customer service. We agree that the rooms are compact and not for everyone's liking, but this is just one part of the concept that enables us to keep the prices to a minimum in the heart of London. We are also very honest and upfront about the sizes on our website and though any query, therefore no surprises. Furthermore, we advise to make the most of the space under the beds and whenever requested we can keep the extra luggage at the reception or do our best to allocate a room with a different layout for having more space. Thank you once again for your comments and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again. Kind regards Selenge Tsendsuren Guest Relations
"Room was on the small side"
So the hotel was in a great location, the staff were friendly and checked us in very promptly. Upon reaching our room I was very surprised to see it's size. I'm 6"3 and to manoeuvre around this room was very difficult. The safest thing for me was to just sit on the bed, rather than trip over our things. In fairness the room was very clean and the air […] con was great. We didn't spend a huge amount of time in the room other than sleeping and getting ready, it wasn't the ideal for our romantic city break, it certainly didn't look anything like the pictures on the website in terms of size, maybe a little camera trickery was used. Wouldn't go back but if you're looking for somewhere to simply put your head down, then it's not so bad. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Stayed here for 4 nights during our trip to London..The room size was small as one would expect and has been mentioned by others. We asked for a room in the top floor (the lifts go only upto Level 5), so didn't have any issues with trains passing by. Clean rooms, great service and friendly staff made it a hassle free stay. But the biggest plus for this […] hotel is its location. Everything is within a short walk, be it the train station (Lambeth North) or attractions such as London Eye, Big Ben or Trafalgar Square. There's a great place nearby (Barbarella's) which serves sumptuous breakfast and a coffee shop for a quick bite. Would definitely stay here again. We do have a small suggestion though. The first room allocated to us was really SMALL. After having a few issues with the toilet flush, we got allocated another room which was much bigger than the previous one. We were happy with this but felt that we really should have been allocated the bigger room in the first place. The management needs to ensure that the smaller rooms are allocated only when the bigger sized rooms are unavailable.Room Tip: Ask for a room in the top floor (note that the lifts go only upto Level 5) so you don't have any issues with trains passing by. Rooms are small, but this is advertised so for me was not an issue. Hotel is situated opposite the Lambeth North tube station meaning, quick access to the city. Room was clean and staff were pleasant. For a one night stay this hotel was perfectly adequate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap, clean and comfortable. Smallest room ever!"
Seems like pretty good value. The room is clean and perfectly comfortable and the the location is good. 10 min walk to Westminster, and close to the tube. A perfectly reasonable place if you only need a place to sleep. However, the room is way to small to spend any time in at all.. no desk, barely space for your suitcase!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fantastic location; small rooms"
You can't beat the location of this hotel. It was within walking distance to a lot of major attractions such as the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben. We knew going in the room would be small. I would say the room was even smaller than a cruise cabin. We stayed for four nights, but maybe it would have been better if we had stayed for only one […] or two nights. Also there was a great grocery store across the street and awesome coffee shop downstairs where we ate breakfast every morning. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Assured at check-in that towels were in room. Ascended five floors and stripped off for shower to discover that none were in the room! Next morning in desperation, had shower and used pillowcase to dry off. Reception were apologetic and understanding.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Westminster area attractions"
Good location, clean and fuss-free. The Lambeth North tube station is just across the road, and requires only one line change at Picadilly if you are coming from Heathrow airport on the regular tube (if taking the Heathrow express, you can just take the train direct to Lambeth North from Paddington on Bakerloo line). The Barclays bicycle station is […] just around the corner too if you want to cycle around town. The room is very small though, so it suits me this time as I was travelling alone. But if it's more than one, could be too tight and a little uncomfortable. On my second night, which was a Saturday, there were sirens from ambulances or police cars passing by that I could hear from my room (on first floor) so soundproofing is acceptable but not that great. "Nice and cheap"
We stayed 4 nights back in mid July with some others. The rooms are very basic and very small with not much space for luggage, but all you need for a base. The location is OK but isn't really in Westminster. Just a 5-10 minute walk to Waterloo Station, Westminster Abbey and Southbank.Genuine Expedia guest review
"small but great."
the single biggest comment that I read was that the rooms are small. Yes they are quite small, but very nice, new and clean. Cheap, clean no frills accommodation in a superb location. This hotel doesn't claim to be anything it isn't. "As to be expected for the price."
Booked this hotel on price and location as it was very close to where I had a meeting arranged and about £100 less than any other nearby hotels. Expectations were governed to be quite low. On arrival, I was told there was a problem with my room, and I would need to go to their 'sister' hotel in Paddington. This was wholly inconvenient and I was quite […] angry that no attempt to contact me had been made. I requested to cancel my reservation and made clear that this situation was not acceptable. Then, miraculously a room was provided (I felt sorry for their next customer who no doubt was about to receive the same news on arrival). The room was very small, but I only needed a bed for a night. The toilet in the room was quite odourous but the bed was comfy and the bonus for the initial room problem was that I was given towels + tv + internet for free!! - Stay here if money is the issue, otherwise, keep looking.
