We were travelling through France and needed a place to stay in Grenoble. This fit the bill. It was a little hard to find as it is located adjacent to a Tram line that restricts frequent crossing and the outside mentioned ADAGIO APARTMENT HOTEL on the outside sign, (which I wasn't expecting). The surrounding area is not scenic, but the Tram outside gets you downtown in a jiffy. Lots of nice features such as washing machine and dryers (pay) in the basement and a good breakfast. Heck, even the air-conditioning worked great!

Nice place to stay in Grenoble is you are arriving by car and need a secure parking lot. Convenient to the tram. Food choices are scarce with hotel food that is not cheap and a gas station across the street. The tram provides excellent transport to all of Grenoble's best spots.
