Only spent one night, but this was due only to the inclement weather. We stayed on the first floor and it was very warm and cozy with a newly decorated en-suite shower room. Very clean with friendly owners. We had an excellent night's sleep and a delicious breakfast.

I liked all in this hotel:) my fiancée and I enjoyed our big sized room, the quality of service, our delicious breakfast, and the amazing view from the room! I ihighly recommend this hotel! I know exactly that we will be staying here next year!

Though the room was small, it was comfortable and well decorated and maintained. Our hosts Marie and Ian were helpful and friendly. Great restaurants nearby. Breakfast room is cheerful and breakfast wonderful. We would go back.

Every revue I have seen already says it all. A very windy narrow lane down to Leversham station to catch the NYMR but convenient and easier parking than Pickering. A great weekend made by Chris. This is a lovely B&B in a beautiful setting in the North Yorkshire Moors. Chris, the landlady, made us both extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean and lovely. The breakfast was also great and we were genuinely sad to go. There is just one thing to mention to any potential customers, the house did take a bit of finding. […] There was no signal on the mobile phone and the telephone box wasn't working so we couldn't ring the house. It is only when we asked a villager where it was that we found it. Stayed here for the night whilst visiting North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Excellent location for Levsham station. Quaint little cottage with all the trimmings of an old cottage, but freshly decorated. Stayed April 2012 after visiting Castle Howard. We had a wonderful welcome with cake and a pot of tea, which the landlady brought up for us to have sitting in easy chairs by the window.
