Very nice place with a refined air. Traditional hotel with traditional interiors, appropriate for Scotland. Definitely upscale, particularly in bar and restaurant area. Not a place to slop around in jeans, especially if dining.

Columba is good value, you could find some faults but they are minor. In all it's good value for money and in a great, picturesque spot near town, on the river side.

Our stay at Rocpool Reserve Hotel & Chez Roux Restaurant was incredible. Service was impeccable and the food was some of the best we've ever eaten. Our only complaint was that the TV did not work, we mentioned it to the staff but it was never fixed. We were only there for one night and so didn't plan on spending much time watching television, so really it was a non-issue for us, but I was surprised the request was not resolved, and had we booked a longer stay, might have been a more serious inconvenience. Other than that, hotel was gorgeous and we'd stay again in a heartbeat. Gorgeous view from the balcony and a private hot tub, plus gourmet food - what more could you ask for!

Close to all as hotel is in the heart of the shopping district. Steps from all major transportation-buses and trains. Book trains a day or so before travel and you save a bundle. Buses go to airport.

The hosts were both so nice, just as all of the other reviewers have said. Their personalities alone, make this place worth a stay. The rooms were beyond... clean. The bathroom glimmered. I only have one complaint and that was the the mattress had seen better days. It was sunk in the middle and lacked all support...but that is my only complaint. The place is difficult to find, we drove around for quite some time before finding the place and that was after a call to the inn. We were not going far enough out of town to see the sign. To find it you need to drive and then drive some more...just when you think you have driven too far...drive some more! We dined at the Dores Inn as our hosts had recommended and the food was amazing. I would absolutely stay here again in the future. This was one of the nicer B&Bs on our holiday. Oh...and the breakfast...it was bountiful and and delicious. The only thing that put us off initially was the approach to the house, an old farm track. But once you arrive, we were greeted warmly and the accomodation and breakfast was great. Located just off the A82 on the tourist route around Loch Ness, I would definately stay here again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The owners were exceptionally nice, helping us bring our luggage up to the room and serving delicious breakfast and giving good advice on local restaurants and sightseeing. It is a short drive outside of Inverness. In all it was a wonderful place to spend a few days - highly recommended.

Although it was a bit further out of inverness than I had realised it wasn't really a problem for us as we were heading south first thing in the morning.We had a lovely breakfast and the room was also lovely with warm and friednly staff to welcome us.

grande satisfaction quant la qualité de l'accueil, la qualité de la chambre, le petit déjeuner ainsi que le cadre (pleine campagne). Par contre, difficultés à trouver l'adresse.
