      Was taken aback to find the hotel registration was located in the bar. The rooms are literally located over the bar and restaurant which while not ideal were not very noisy. The room was small, but clean and well maintained. We ate at the restaurant two nights and the food at both breakfast and dinner was outstanding.

      What a beautiful location. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to go. Literally a stone's throw from the coast, my husband and I wanted something away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoyed the best fish-n-chips from a nearby take away while enjoying the splendid view of the North Sea:) Highly recommend.

      The White Swan is very conveniently located steps from Alnwick Castle. The parking is not free but only costs 2 pounds/day. The staff is very helpful and acted promptly to all inquiries. There is no elevator but the staff was very good about carrying our bags to the room.

      Beautiful place, well-located. My room was spacious, sunny, and bright, and very comfortable. Great bed. I would definitely go back. Lovely!

      This hotel is located right in the centre of Alnwick and around the corner from the Castle and Castle Garden. Plenty of parking. Large tastefully furnished and decorated room in annexe with king size bed, only a few yards from the main hotel. Only criticism I have is the noisy plumbing system! Good full English breakfast.

    The rooms, welcome, breakfasts and location of Old Stone are all first class. The A1 is just a few hundred yards away but the location is very quiet.... The views from the Old Stone position at Wandylaw stretch out to sea and include Lindisfarne and Bamburgh castles; walking a little way up the bridleway behind the cottages also brings in Dunstanburgh.     There was nothing to fault our stay at the Old Stone. The rooms were of a very high standard, and breakfast superb.     This accommodation was excellent. We found it by accident as your web site had mixed up this accommodation and another one which led to a lot of confusion on both our part and the accommodation owners. We hope you have put this error right as it is detrimental to the owners.
