I've been staying at this hotel for years. They are always nice. The food is good. And it is really comfortable for Americans. They say they make you feel at home, and they really do.

If you're looking for a place that off the beaten path this is it. Really there is not a lot to do here, if that's what your looking for. You get a free breakfast which is simple, but plenty. There is 1 store on the way to the lodge, get all your stuff there. It comes with a small mid-sized fridge.

Location.
Situated in the heart of Jerusalem, Rivoli Hotel is within walking distance of Herod's Gate, Rockefeller Museum, and Garden Tomb. Also nearby are Temple Mount and Dome of the Rock.

We found it particularly difficult to find a decent hotel room at a reasonable price in Jerusalem. We also wanted to be "in the action" and be able to walk right into the old city. We absolutely got that. This hotel is just across the street from the Old City and the Muslim section was awesome. We walked around, met interesting people, ate great street […] food, and enjoyed the sights. However, our bed was very uncomfortable. The room wasn't cool at all (even in the Spring). They did not clean our room during our 2 night 3 day stay. I would say that if you could tolerate a bad hotel room for a great location, then do it. If not, I would find a better place. Read more

Buffet breakfast is varied and very close to the old city. Street food is reasonably priced compared to european prices. Tours of the dead sea and massada through the hotel are a rip off, so decided to rent a cheap car and go there myself with the family for a fraction of the tour price. The location was convenient, and the staff were nice enough. The room was very basic, but would've been fine, except that there was no air conditioning. As a result, we had to use a fairly ineffective fan, and our room was hotter than the outdoor temperature in the middle of summer.

Vi tog in på hotell Rivoli av två tunga skäl - det var billigt (minst halva priset jämfört med hotell på den västra sidan av staden) och hotellet är beläget mycket nära Jerusalems Gamla stad med alla dess sevärdheter.
