I was told the pool was open year round, but when we arrived the pool was closed. It did not open or get cleaned during my entire stay. If I would have known this, I would have chose a different place to stay.

The hotel room was large and clean. The check in and out was quick and easy. Office manager gave a call 15 minutes after checking in to see if everything was ok. The hotel is conveniently located.

Travelodge was very clean with no trouble getting set up into room. Young lady at the desk was very nice and knew right away that I had reserved online. One of the most affordable hotels we found right in the middle of many stores and places to eat within walking distance. Continental breakfast was nice with a few options & fruit. It was very convienent and affordable. The room was comfrotable and roomy. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us! Our only issue was the traffic on the East Texas Expressway that you have to enter on, but not the hotels fault!! haha!

We stayed two nights and on the second night people outside our room were very loud well into the night till at least 3am and on a Sunday night. This made our stay unpleasant, and we will not be staying at Travelodge any more.

Overall this is an average property, reasonably clean, with basic qualities of a two star motel. Everything was good and quiet. The morning is another to be said. The first morning I was still in my room and in the shower and the cleaning lady pounded on my door repeatedly, then when I came out of the shower she cam by 20 min later and pounded again and when I came to the door she had an attitude and told me to sign something if I did not want […] the service. The second day a different one came buy while I was not there, she only removed my used towels then came back after I arrived and asked if I needed anything like towels, trash taken or my bed maid. Upon arrival the manager/owner/front desk was very disorganized in how they conducted the transaction. I had booked and paid via Expedia's network and the manager wanted to charge my credit card again for the room. When I explained I had booked online it took an additional 5 minutes to confirm. I was on the second floor in an non smoking room. The odor […] eliminator did not quite cover the smoke residue, nor did the paint cover the sagging ceiling from an earlier leaking roof. The discoloration and stain was an eyesore at the least. There was an obvious drug dealing business below my room and the traffic was a constant disturbance as the customers were in and out banging on the door to be let in. The hotel was located at central location, however, the room smelled, the shower was dirty and the matress was worn. The night clerk did not communicate with the other employee(s) that my guess was arriving a few days later, they would not give I guess a key to the room after I informed them that she would be arriving at a later date. Unprofessional, dishonest and without integrity. If you choose not to accommodate guests and remedy a situation, at least give a straight answer. Education/ experience for consumers is unfortunately expensive at times, and the only reasonable action when you've been taken advantage of is to spread the word.

Hotel has been used for partying. It is very tough to get in and out of. Its main entrance is thru two other businesses parking. The main exit is where two off ramps merge. Tough to get anywhere. Hotel staff is very friendly thou.

Pros: Good price, good location... close to some nightclubs and dining. Room was always clean when I came back. Cons: The bathroom... the shower head only came up to my chin. I'm 5'9". The toilet made a noise every minute or so. In their defense, I was only there a couple days and did not call maintenance on the issue.

Breakfast not acceptable. condiments not individual serving. Everyone shared butter, jelly, syrup and coffee add ins.

Maid service walked in while one person was still sleeping. She thought we were a checked out room even tbough we paid for 2 nights.. Gave us clean towels but never came back to make beds or empry full trash cans. At checkout clerk was on personal call and never asked how our stay was.

There was a slight problem with the room and I ask the front desk could we fix this? Without hesitation they gave me another room that was just as nice if not better.
