The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. They made us feel very welcome and appreciated. The room was a nice size and the beds were comfortable. Restaurants, coffee shops and grocery are an easy walk away, 0 - 10 minutes. The room was a bit cool but extra cozy blankets were available in the closet. The water ran constantly so we turned the valve off every night for a quiet sleep.

This was a wonderful experience. I stayed in 9A which was but a 2 minute walk from the Rynek. The space was spotless and large, and with a fully stocked kitchen (with a washer/dryer). I wish I could have found a grocery store near by to cook meals in to save a bit of money. Great shower (such water pressure!) and having a TV with some cable was nice (good to watch some BBC news). In all, I hope to stay here again.

I have stayed here 3 times thus far, and would do it all over again! It is a nice, charming, older hotel, right across the pedestrian bridge from the Krakow Glowny train station. Clean rooms, ornately festooned windows, and other decor just like your typica, eccentric New-Jersey- Greek -Aunt- goes berserk with the frills and swags thing is going all over the rest of the room.1 it exudes true Polish style! I have been staying here for almost 14 years, and it is a decent deal for the money. And I will likely stay here again, as I rather enjoy it, however, the staff are grumpy, short and n a little bit bossy and rude in their demeanor in general. They love giving unsolicited advice about your clothing choices, and the answer you in a series of short, grunts,or not at all when you ask questions.They used to be nicer than all of that. Not sure if the place has been sold in the meantime, or if they were just being weird. Oh well... It is a great old standby, and I still enjoy the place. It is only about a 10 minute walk to the cloth hall, etc.

a brief ten minute walk to old Jewish section and a bit longer to down town. if you want shopping, you are also next to a mall.one day too tired to go out and ate inside. food was very good and the service excellent. can't ask for more.
