"Perfect location"
Large 1 bedroom apt. Fully equipped with maid service centrally located. No front desk but easily accessible staff via phone in entry way. There in November, so extra blanket would be helpful, but easy enough to pull of daybed in living room since daybed not used for sleeping. Only problems were after using sink in bathroom unpleasant oder that eventually went away. Drains need to be cleaned. Plenty of hot water but handle kept slipping towards cold had to keep readjusting it . Minor issues considering size and convenience. of apt. Instructions on how to use combination stove would have been helpful. But can't beat location. I stayed at the one on Dom Henrequi e in the heart of Rossio/Bahia district

Renovated building. If you think in cooking while on vacation, it could be on hand ( not our case ). Wash machine is a plus, but not drier machine, Laminated wood floor very bad installed (impossible to walk without making a lot of noise. Lights in the bathroom were not working, but we had to e-mail to have it fixed next day. Not a good experience for the price paid.

We had a very pleasant stay and the location could not be beat. I had been a bit concerned that noise might be a problem, it was not. Everything went very well. As others have indicated, this is self serve, so you have ot be prepared to keep track of your entry codes and stay on top of your visit. Our shower head broke and one email to management took care of the issue. We never saw any staff, they came while se were sightseeing, but if you are self sufficient, this is a good choice.

"Small surprises"
First thing that you should know is that if you don't entry codes for the apartment, you'll be stuck outside. There is no one at the apartment to receive you. The apartment itself doesn't have a phone, so you better bring an activate cell phone if you plan to communicate someone. The apartment was rooming, very clean, and located in heart of the city. The apartment (room 4.1) did have a few items that made our stay less than ideal: the bathroom sink was clogged, the bathroom door couldn't be closed, the toilet seat was the wrong size and loose, the remotes' batteries were dead, the door to balcony was loose (almost fell on top of me) and the building in front of the apartment was in the middle of noisy construction (they started early morning). The noisy construction isn't a direct criticism of the apartment, but if you like to sleep in like I do, you may have difficulties. Plenty of tasty pastry shops and restaurants within walking distance.

"Go Native In The Heart of Downtown Lisbon"
Located in heart of downtown Lisbon, these apartments are perfect if you want to go more native instead of staying in a major hotel. The rooms are spacious and well lighted. As it is an older building, the place has a little cracks here and there, but that's part of the charm. Tile inlay in the rooms, gives it a homely feel. The kitchen area is good as it has all the usual amenities; perfect to store water for your excursion and the like. Bathroom area is well stocked, as the maid service is solid. Check-in is late afternoon (about 2pm), so just a head's up. As I mentioned, this is right in the heart of city, less than a stone's throw from the Rua Augusta. You're surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and everything you're looking for. Not that far off from several Metro stations and a walk to the Praca do Comercio where you can catch trams, buses and other rides. Very accessible to get in about the downtown area without any hassles. The apartments provide shuttle service to the airport when checking out (I believe you need to give them 48 hours notice, but its good). Highly recommended

"Best possible location in central Lisbon"
We stayed at the one bedroom apartment. Overall, despite the service issues described below, which are manageable, I would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends. Best possible location, very good apartment (keyless entry, very good design of the living room, comfortable bed, decent wifi connection, AC, etc), but with service issues that need improvement, even assuming relatively low expectation of a serviced apartment vs. hotel. All communication with Joao, who I assume is a manager, was via email, while response time was reasonable. Areas of improvement: (1) clogged sink on arrival was fixed after only 2 days (despite a number of emails and promises). (2) Living room rug was never vacumed (all 7 days)... . (3) housekeeping did not wash dishes despite €4 tip. (4) Having a late departure flight and 12:00 check out, we we offered no help at all with luggage storage. (5) a bit of investment in kitchen amenities would be nice, we have stayed in many serviced apartments worldwide, this was the worst: there were 3 unmatched "wine" glasses, 2 water glasses and 2 cups and a few utencils... Plates/pans I guess were there but who cooks in Baixa. I think there was only dishwasher fluid and salt....no water or a packet of tea in the place... Keeping in mind, there are no convenience stores open late in Baixa.

We have one night power outage for a little while. I have my washing machine not working but they fixed it. Our apartment was at the heart of Baixa. Its a block from the metro and walking distance to major landmarks. Lot's of cafes, restaurants and shops in the area. "Nice apartment centrally located"
The apartment was newly renovated in modern style. It was clean and centrally located. There is no reception desk. You must call the reception by using the phone at the outside door. They gave us codes for the outside door and our apartment door. At first it seemed an inconvenience, but actually was easier than a key card. Parking in this area is difficult. There are many pedestrian shopping streets and one-ways. We parked in a public parking in the plaza for a few hours so we could walk to the apartment, drop our luggage and acquaint ourselves with the area. Then we moved the car up by the Olaias (spelling) metro stop which has a shopping center so there was free parking on the street. We only spent one night and felt the car would be secure over night. Wish we could have stayed more time!

"3 star apartment hotel"
First stay ever at a apartment hotel was here. You need to email them beforehand in order to get the access codes to the front door and your apartment. They do have a phone in the lobby that gives you 24 hour access to a receptionist if you have any problems. Their hand held shower head is horrible but the rainfall shower head is ok if you can figure out how to switch it on. There are also problems with their shower drain. Had to turn off the water every few minutes because I was afraid the water would overflow and seep pass the glass shower door. Apartment seems clean if you don't look too closely. Alas, if you do, you'll notice that their kitchen/dining counter top is stained and probably not cleaned very often. Also found a coffee? stain on the glass TV stand. However, I only stayed for 2 nights and housekeeping did come in and replace towels. Apartment has washer but no dryer! The area seems kind of shady and dirty especially if you walk around in the early morning but at night, about a block over, there are many restaurants open. It's also about a 2 min walk to the Rossio train station.

"Perfect location in heart of Lisbon"
50 square meters is a bit tight, but we spent so much time out and about that it wasn't too bad. Housekeeping wasn't consistent each day (actually ran out of toilet paper one day!). It had all of the amenities we needed. Great location to go out and sightseeing in the morning, come back and relax in the late afternoon, and go back out in the evening. On the weekends there are street performers and musicians only a block away. Watch out for the tourist trap restaurants on Rua da Augusta - they try to be very persuasive in getting you to eat at their restaurant; they tend to be overpriced and not as good. I recommend Andaluz on Santa Marta - great food and friendly owner (Note: cash only). We had a three course meal and wine for about 30 euro. Don't be afraid to partake in the pastries - you will walk so much (including up and down hills) that you will work it off! :) Great city, friendly people, and wonderful atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!

"Perfect location"
The apartments were extremely convenient to the historic sites, restaurants, and a metro station. We enjoyed having the larger size of the apartment (compared to a hotel room) and having a kitchen while also having it cleaned and towels freshened every day. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. The only comment I have is that the futon in the living room was a little small for two people but we asked for a roll away bed and that solved the problem.

This is the way to go. We were in town for a convention of 20,000 people. the convention hotels were small expensive and off the action. We had a a kitchen, living room and bedroom. We also had beautiful french doors that looked out over a cool neighborhood filled with people. The apartments are one and a half blocks from a metro stop and you will be a great neighborhood. Ocean to the south and more interesting places to explore a few blocks to the east and west. Be sure to eat at the Leitoria a Componeza just around the corner great reasonably priced food.

"Close to metro and food court"
This apartment is a little more than one block from a major subway station and half a block from a compact six-floor upscale shopping mall with food court (we just discovered on our last day) located in the historic city center of Lisbon. Extremely convenient for getting to other places. The rooms are well serviced by a building cleaning person who was very attentive, though she did not speak English. The use of space was excellent - nice TV, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, even washing machine, though some of the fixtures like shower door, towel racks, etc. were low quality and we experienced some shower leakage from an upper floor into our bedroom, which I presume was fixed by the management. Efficient use of small square-footage would not recommend this space for a very large person, in my view. There was no view, unfortunately. If we return to Lisbon we will try to get this room again.

"Next time in Lisbon we choose a hotel room."
We had two problems: 1) There were no good sitting chairs, only three squeaking bar stools. 2) Safety box was closed when we arrived to the apt. Some person came to open it - not today but tomorrow evening after two irritable calls to the virtual reception. My wife had to take all her money with her. The pickpocket (crowded tram 28) got 250 Eur from her wallet (in her handbag). Our money had been preserved if the safety box would have been at our disposal.

"Terrible experience - never stay in apartment 1.3!"
Our stay in this apartment was everything but pleasant. After entering the apartment the day of our arrival, we have immediately heard a very loud and constant noise comming ftom rhe bedroom and the bathroom. We asked immediately the chambremaid where does the noise come from - her answer: airconditiom. Then we discovered that both the bedroom and the bathroom windows were oriented into a tiny, narrow and dark yard berween neighbouring buildings. After having opened the window we discovered the source of the noise: Directly below our window there were several big aircondition units from restaurants situated directly below our apartment. No need to describe the bad smell... It was impossible to sleep in the bedroom because of the noise and smell, so we had to sleep in the living/kitchen!

"Very central location to Baixa"
It was very noisy in the evenings/later on due to proximity to the bars/eateries plus the collection of glass bottles in the early hours wasn't conducive to a good nights sleep. The fixtures on the walls in the bathroom are in a very poor state (not level or screwed tightly....toilet roll holder and hand shower holder), towels had seen better days (torn/teared) and the sofa bed backing would not lock in a sitting position so it was just a flat bed. The TV is too close to the aforementioned sofa bed so you cannot sit/view comfortably (channels were blurred and not in HD format/16:19 ratio despite being flatscreen). There are no kitchen towels provided to dry cutlery/plates/cups you use or a rack to dry them naturally, you are supposed to comply with otherwise you are penalised.

"Great place to stay"
They provide a airport pick-up which we opted for and I would highly recommend. If this is your first time to Baixa trying to locate the apartment building on your own would be a challenge. Our first impression of the apartment and space was great. however there was building work going on on the ground floor in the adjoining building which was a little annoying during our stay. Our only disappointment (which wasn't major) was the aged linen. Whilst clean the towels and sheets which had been through the wringer a few times I think.

"Good location, but the condition is bad"
I only stayed on night. I was very disappointed when I saw that the sink was clocked, the toilet seat didn't fit the toilet, the towel hanger was not attached properly to the wall so it was not leveled resulting in the towels hanging in one end (and hence not drying). And this is just the bathroom. I checked in late and left early, so I didn't get to see other facilities of the building.

"Great location"
The apartments are easy to get to by underground. There is only one change and the cost is 1.40 euros per person, plus 0.5 to buy the travel pass. On exiting at Baixa/Chiado station via R do Crucifico it is less than 5 minutes walk. They are close to most of the main attractions and transport routes. Even though they are in a central location we didn't find them noisy at night. There is building work opposite but that didn't start too early to be a nuisance. Lisbon is a lovely city and the local people are very creative with crafts in order to supplement or provide their income. Check out the Facebook pages of Suricatta - Artesanato and Silvia Luz to see some examples. We really enjoyed the food and the area of Bairro Alto had lots of lovely local restaurants. It is definitely worth making the short easy trip over the water to see Cristo Rei Statue and going to along to Belem to spend a few hours. Try and get a really detailed street map as there are lots of narrow street that it are really easy to get lost in. We found our map, although looked quite detailed, was not detailed enough. There are signs for the main attractions that often disappear so this is where the detailed map would be good. The pavements are mainly really small shiny cobbles that can be very uneven. As it city it is also quite hilly so leather soled shoes or heels are better to be left at home. Dining out was also a very casual experience so bear this in mind when packing.

What made us really like this apartment is its location. There's a bakery in front where you can have your breakfast. The owners immediately responded when we had a problem with the washing machine and the place is cleaned everyday. There's a super market close by if you want to prepare your own food and the facilities are there. Maybe the lighting in the living room can be improved a bit but the WiFi is really good.

Close to shops, bars, restaurants etc. this aspect was excellent but the room itself a little disappointing. Lacking in kitchen utensils, no where to store clothes etc in the bedroom - literally all that was in the room was the bed!! No mirror (mainly for us ladies) in any area other than the bathroom which was a pain when trying to straighten hair etc. had to do this by using the screen on my iPad!! Also it would have been good to have someone to hand at least during the daytime if only to ask advise on certain things. Stayed in other apartments before and this worked well. Could also do with aircon extending to bedroom - was really warm during our stay but couldn't open window as rather a lot of building work opposite and seemed to go on 24/7 !!

"A hotel without " Management and Reception""
First of all, over the last forty years, I must have visited Lisbon at least 50 times. It was the first time I stayed in this service apartment and the first time I had experienced staying in a premises which didn't have Reception and Management Office. On arrival, I had trouble gaining entry into the building with the code emailed to me 3 days ago. Luckily, a cleaning lady was inside the front door and she patiently let me in and very kindly illustrated how to punch in the 9 digits (for front door and 8 digits for the room door). One has to memorise the numbers and carry them with you. Out of my 6 days' stay, there were 3 evening ( lasted through the nights ) whereby the only small lift did not work. I had to walk up to the third door to my room. The worst was on the afternoon when I was leaving to go to the airport. The lift had been out of service the evening before and so I have to carry my suitcase and shoulder bay down the 3 floors (thank God my room was not on the 5th top floor). About my room- there is no telephone or any guidance regarding the facilities provided, e.g. how to use the oven/microwave, the dishwasher, washing machine, and the cooker. On the positive side- my room was very clean, lots of towels, bed sheets, pillows, etc. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and efficient. Personally, the main set back is, if a resident is in need of contacting somebody, no matter its complaint and seeking for information, there is no way of doing so.

Despite having a dish washer that could hold 12 place settings we were only provided with 2 knives, forks, plates etc. There was a dirty dish in the oven, the 2 mugs had been put away unwashed and the toaster was clogged up with melted cheese. There was only one coat hanger in the wardrobe. There was a good sized double bed but to fit it in the bedroom it had to be pushed hard against one wall. On positive side location was great - near a main square, metro and convience store. Apartment was in good condition with pleasing decor. Living area was spacious.
