"Nice apartment centrally located"
The apartment was newly renovated in modern style. It was clean and centrally located. There is no reception desk. You must call the reception by using the phone at the outside door. They gave us codes for the outside door and our apartment door. At first it seemed an inconvenience, but actually was easier than a key card. Parking in this area is difficult. […] There are many pedestrian shopping streets and one-ways. We parked in a public parking in the plaza for a few hours so we could walk to the apartment, drop our luggage and acquaint ourselves with the area. Then we moved the car up by the Olaias (spelling) metro stop which has a shopping center so there was free parking on the street. We only spent one night and felt the car would be secure over night. Wish we could have stayed more time! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"3 star apartment hotel"
First stay ever at a apartment hotel was here. You need to email them beforehand in order to get the access codes to the front door and your apartment. They do have a phone in the lobby that gives you 24 hour access to a receptionist if you have any problems. Their hand held shower head is horrible but the rainfall shower head is ok if you can figure […] out how to switch it on. There are also problems with their shower drain. Had to turn off the water every few minutes because I was afraid the water would overflow and seep pass the glass shower door. Apartment seems clean if you don't look too closely. Alas, if you do, you'll notice that their kitchen/dining counter top is stained and probably not cleaned very often. Also found a coffee? stain on the glass TV stand. However, I only stayed for 2 nights and housekeeping did come in and replace towels. Apartment has washer but no dryer! The area seems kind of shady and dirty especially if you walk around in the early morning but at night, about a block over, there are many restaurants open. It's also about a 2 min walk to the Rossio train station. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location in heart of Lisbon"
50 square meters is a bit tight, but we spent so much time out and about that it wasn't too bad. Housekeeping wasn't consistent each day (actually ran out of toilet paper one day!). It had all of the amenities we needed. Great location to go out and sightseeing in the morning, come back and relax in the late afternoon, and go back out in the evening. […] On the weekends there are street performers and musicians only a block away. Watch out for the tourist trap restaurants on Rua da Augusta - they try to be very persuasive in getting you to eat at their restaurant; they tend to be overpriced and not as good. I recommend Andaluz on Santa Marta - great food and friendly owner (Note: cash only). We had a three course meal and wine for about 30 euro. Don't be afraid to partake in the pastries - you will walk so much (including up and down hills) that you will work it off! :) Great city, friendly people, and wonderful atmosphere. I can't wait to go back! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"big place but bare bones"
no connection for mac users, friendly but helpless staff. bring your own toilet paper.Genuine Expedia guest review
The apartments were extremely convenient to the historic sites, restaurants, and a metro station. We enjoyed having the larger size of the apartment (compared to a hotel room) and having a kitchen while also having it cleaned and towels freshened every day. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. The only comment I have is that the futon in […] the living room was a little small for two people but we asked for a roll away bed and that solved the problem. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This is the way to go. We were in town for a convention of 20,000 people. the convention hotels were small expensive and off the action. We had a a kitchen, living room and bedroom. We also had beautiful french doors that looked out over a cool neighborhood filled with people. The apartments are one and a half blocks from a metro stop and you will be […] a great neighborhood. Ocean to the south and more interesting places to explore a few blocks to the east and west. Be sure to eat at the Leitoria a Componeza just around the corner great reasonably priced food. Centrally located but quiet at night. Very convenient to walk to most of the sights and get public transprtations. Some lights didn't work but nothing major. I'd stay there again when visiting Lisbon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to metro and food court"
This apartment is a little more than one block from a major subway station and half a block from a compact six-floor upscale shopping mall with food court (we just discovered on our last day) located in the historic city center of Lisbon. Extremely convenient for getting to other places. The rooms are well serviced by a building cleaning person who […] was very attentive, though she did not speak English. The use of space was excellent - nice TV, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, even washing machine, though some of the fixtures like shower door, towel racks, etc. were low quality and we experienced some shower leakage from an upper floor into our bedroom, which I presume was fixed by the management. Efficient use of small square-footage would not recommend this space for a very large person, in my view. There was no view, unfortunately. If we return to Lisbon we will try to get this room again. "Great location and nice apartement, but...."
The good: - nice location, you can cover large part of the city by walking - Modern nice interior The bad: - Apartement should have been 70 m2, but was only about 50m2 (I asked if I got the right one and was told so) - We were three people - only one bed - we found another bed in the hallway outside the apartement (and had to do all the sheets etc) - […] Some traffic noice (but not more than what you should expect in the middle of the city) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great well-equipped apartment"
Although we arrived at the apartment fairly late (11ish) and did not receive an email with codes prior to our arrival, access to our apartment was smooth and we had no problems. Apartment was well-furnished and clean. For two people, we had plenty of space. Place is ideal for family and for longer stays as it's equipped with a kitchen and washer/dryer. […] As we only stayed one night, we didn't get to use the amenities. We parked our rental car in a public parking garage a block away. It was only later that we found out that parking on the cobblestone street was free, but we felt safer in the lot. Location was good -- short walk to shopping and dining areas. Apartment is in the financial/business district, so it's quiet at night. Loved the place and would definitely recommend to friends visiting Lisbon. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great Place"
The 3 bedroom apartment also had a spacious kitchen and living room. The apartment is very nice and clean and in the middle of shopping and restaurants ideally situated. "Would not recommend"
Very cheap remodel of what might have been a nice building at one time. Only enough hot water for one quick shower, towel racks falling off wall, toilet seat broken, both lights in bedroom broken so they took the only livingroom lamp into the bedroom for light, bed VERY hard (and we like firm beds). We stayed for 4 nights in a 1 bedroom. Overall, it was a good experience and I would stay there again given great location and cleanliness. Wifi worked really well. Room was clean. Elevator worked well. Windows drowned out any noise from around the building.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Awesome location and super super clean!"
This apartment was the great! The location was perfect and the hotel was super clean. The check in process is wonderful ..there is no front desk person and no one to be rude to you. "Great apartment for a short stay in Lisbon."
Great location of the great apartment. All the appliances were there and were the top of the line, the living room also had the fold-flat couch which can sleep 1-2 more people. The minor drawbacks were that one of the days internet was flaky (could be too many people were tuning to watch Euro 2012 online) and the nearby multi-storey parking costs about […] 25 euros per day, so I ended up parking way out of the downtown area. "excellent apartments for the price of a room"
This is an excellent alternative to a hotel. The location is great - in the middle of Baixa, the rooms are great, new and spatiouse - you get a suite with a full kitchen for the price of a hotel room. Friendly service with early check in and late checkout available. In contrast to many other serviced apartments, you have a daily room service. Any other […] assistance is available via 24 hour phone line from the lobby/entrance area. Also have to mention a 400+ channel TV and remotely controlled separate air conditioning for each room. "Really central apartment"
The apartment was located just round the corner from St Jorge lift so was handy for everything. The only downside of the stay was witnessing the pick pockets in operation on the main drag. In fact a couple who were there at the same time as us were both targeted this week.Genuine Expedia guest review
These apartments on the surface look fabulous and are roomy. However a number of items had issues. The leather divan constantly collapsed into a bed and the air conditioning /heating did not work. They were not fixed in the duration of our 5 day stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location in Lisbon"
These apartments are in a great location for exploring Lisbon. Close to transport and walking distance to lots of sights. The facilities are generally good but little things could be improved. The toilet seat in our room was broken when we arrived but staff fixed it promptly when we asked. On the other hand, friends travelling with us did not have […] the heater in their room fixed in the five day stay. The kitchen had basic utensils and plates etc. but no additional pillows or blankets where provided. The pillows could be improved. Also the washing machine was a much needed amenity, but there was no dryer. "A hotel without " Management and Reception""
First of all, over the last forty years, I must have visited Lisbon at least 50 times. It was the first time I stayed in this service apartment and the first time I had experienced staying in a premises which didn't have Reception and Management Office. On arrival, I had trouble gaining entry into the building with the code emailed to me 3 days ago. […] Luckily, a cleaning lady was inside the front door and she patiently let me in and very kindly illustrated how to punch in the 9 digits (for front door and 8 digits for the room door). One has to memorise the numbers and carry them with you. Out of my 6 days' stay, there were 3 evening ( lasted through the nights ) whereby the only small lift did not work. I had to walk up to the third door to my room. The worst was on the afternoon when I was leaving to go to the airport. The lift had been out of service the evening before and so I have to carry my suitcase and shoulder bay down the 3 floors (thank God my room was not on the 5th top floor). About my room- there is no telephone or any guidance regarding the facilities provided, e.g. how to use the oven/microwave, the dishwasher, washing machine, and the cooker. On the positive side- my room was very clean, lots of towels, bed sheets, pillows, etc. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and efficient. Personally, the main set back is, if a resident is in need of contacting somebody, no matter its complaint and seeking for information, there is no way of doing so. Only problem with this place is the virtual front desk. You almost fogive their being noone at the front desk 95% of the time because the location is amazing and the apartments so clean and suitable and spacious. "Excellent location but staff could not fix tv"
The apartment was small but sufficient for our needs. It was in a great location. Unfortunately we could not get proper tv reception. The apartment was spacious, modern and tidy. The air conditioning was much appreciated after a hot day sightseeing. "Good location, clean room, great shower"
Plenty to see and do in the locality with many restaurants within yards. The flat was clean and airy. The only hassle was that I didn't receive the front-door code, so had to call the manager on arrival. Car-parking is expensive in the recommended car park (eur35 per day), and it's cheaper in another one some distance away (eur25 per day).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Could have been great but number of small annoying aspects to our stay. No code was sent as promised until we requested one. When we arrived there were no lights working in the main entrance foyer. Despite having a dish washer that could hold 12 place settings we were only provided with 2 knives, forks, plates etc. There was a dirty dish in the oven, […] the 2 mugs had been put away unwashed and the toaster was clogged up with melted cheese. There was only one coat hanger in the wardrobe. There was a good sized double bed but to fit it in the bedroom it had to be pushed hard against one wall. On positive side location was great - near a main square, metro and convience store. Apartment was in good condition with pleasing decor. Living area was spacious. Apartment could be excellent if small things are attended to. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Central apartment with great facilities"
Located in the Baixa area of Lisbon, it is central to everything that you would need for a stay in Lisbon. Most places are within walking distance including restaurants, bars and shops. The tourist tram (worth the trip) and the local 25 and 28 trams are nearby and the Santa Justa elevator is just around the corner from the apartment. One thing that […] should be mentioned is just on the street is a small cafe/restaurant called Leitaria a Camponeza, originally a pastry and milk shop, but now does breakfast, lunch and dinner. Go in and have a look at the amazing art nouveau decoration and enjoy coffee and cake or an evening meal. The apartment itself has everything that you would need for a short or medium stay and is quiet and comfortable with modern styling. "Just what we wanted"
After very enjoyable and busy coach tour of Portugal, we wanted a central, clean, comfortable base to relax. self-cater our meals and catch up with laundry. We stayed 5 nights in Apartment 1.3 which met all our criteria and is very modern, light and bright, with good wi-fi and TV reception. Excellent appliances but no clothes dryer, limited kitchen […] crockery & cutlery although adequate for up to 3 people. Comfortable and spacious for 2 adults, perhaps one or two small children on leather couch-futon style - extra linen & pillows in apartment. Good security, but "virtual" reception only at the end of a direct phoneline- no English-speaking person right there on site - which wasn't a problem for us. "If you want peace and quiet...don't go for this!"
Don't go here if you want peace and quiet!!! unless you stay on the top floor! We were on the 2nd floor and close to the generators that were on all night long and made a buzzing noise. We did not sleep! In addition, for the first day it was pretty quiet (during the day....that is) but over the weekend, as all the floors are wooden we could hear footsteps […] above (from the other apartments) and that was pretty annoying. "Perfect spot - but needs a clean"
Firstly, don't stay here if you have a car. There is absolutely no parking nearby. You have to double park, unload your stuff, then wind around numerous one-way streets to find an underground carpark at least 5 minutes away and pay 36 euro per day. Secondly, Hotels.com do not send through the access codes via email. You will need to call the number […] of the hotel directly and he will sms them to you. 3rd - Our room stank of fish when we walked in. After a search of the apartment, we found an unwashed frying pan with oil still in it, and pots with fish stuck on the side. Took hours to air the place out and re-wash the dishes. Dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and microwave/oven supplied. But with those 3 negatives aside, the place was otherwise clean, modern, and well situated in the busy part of town. After our stay, not sure if I can recommend though. Cleaner needs to do his/her job properly. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was really quite nice. Close to everything and yet quiet. "Perfect, modern hotel"
The apartment block is in a fantastic location, in the heart of the city but somehow off the main streets so not noisy at all. We had spent ages trying to work out where to stay in Lisbon and were really pleased with our choice. It's a really hilly city but happily this apartment is in a flat area so no great climbs at the beginning or end of the day! The […] apartment itself was very modern - you get access codes rather than keys, which works really well, and throughout the interior it was all exactly as we'd expected from the photos - highly and contemporarily designed. Everything was provided to a very high standard, and you even get a housekeeping service, which was a nice touch. It was great value and much nicer than staying in a hotel. Very comfortable apartment for 2 people in ideal location. Cleaning of the bathroom should be better though, there was some blue liquid spilled on the shelf when we arrived and it was never cleaned while we were there, neither was the sink. "Central location, quiet, but check the amenities"
Unfortunately the description of these apartments on the Expedia site lead to some disappointment. The apartment itself was very conveniently located and central as well as being extremely quiet and pleasantly air conditioned, The decor was certainly minimalist and the equipment a little spartan for a "luxury" apartment - no bedside table, no dining […] table, just a kitchen bar and rather sparse set of utensils. There was just one sofa to sit on. The "24 hour front desk" was a "virtual reception" at the end of a telephone line, but always obtainable and helpful. No welcome pack or tourist info. The following items listed on the Expedia site were not in the apartment though we might perhaps have got them if we had asked - dvd player, cd player, deep-soaking bathtub. Neither was there an "apartment pool" for a "refreshing dip" or a "poolside bar" - which we did ask for - nor "EAN Dining" though perhaps I do not know what EAN means Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The apartment was perfect. Everything brand new and very modern. The kitchen was straight out of Architecture Digest. I even had a dishwasher and a washing machine. It was very nicely decorated, the antique portuguese tiles added a nice touch and best of all were the double glass windows: soundproof!
