Acadie Saint-Victor - Chatelaillon-Plage

We had the "two bedroom condo" and it was more than spacious. The apartment was equipped with a mini-kitchen and two single sofa beds in the living room, as well as a full dining room table and sofa chair. It's perfect for family stays. The staff and service were also exemplary.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Though not on the beach (there are no real beaches in La Rochelle), the hotel faces the harbor, giving you a scenic, peaceful, view from your window (get a room with a balcony -- even better). The hotel reception personnel are extremely friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask for a map of the area and suggestions for parking in town. There are really no eating options close to the hotel (no coffee maker in the room either), but town is a short drive away. Parking is on premises and wi-fi is accessible in your room.

The European style covers were very heavy for this time of year. There are all one piece so you can’t take just the sheet. Too hot with the cover and too cold without it made for a very uncomfortable night. Even though this was the most expensive hotel so far, breakfast was not included and at 12 Euros a person very high for what they served. Parking is also an extra 8 Euros
