that was the most awful apartment. I have ever seen please announce to your provider who is on charge of response .they charged my for cleaning for 35 euro but we hadn't seen someone to clean. :)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very noisy neighborhood"
We are a family of four and we had booked 6 nights in this hotel, which is not a hotel by the way. These are apartments, the maid never cleaned up the room. However, what was worst was the noise. The hotel is very close to the railway and the room was very noisy, hot with no air conditioning. So, we spent most of the nights awake. The hotel is far away […] from the center and it takes about 45mn to an hour to reach the center of the city. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The apartment house is located right next to a railroad where you can hear the train day and night in 20 minute intervalls. The tram goes by right in front of the house and you can hear that too. The room was equipped with all the basic necessities, but you have to take care of toilt paper, soap, and taking out your trash. I can recommend the rooms […] for 2, but not more. There was one double bed for 2, and then a pull out coüch for the other 2 which was not comfortable to sleep on, narrow and hard. Connection to downtown and all the attractions was easy, tram 300 meters from hotel ran every 10 minutes or less. And then there were great connections to the U-Bahn which took you to the inner city. Also, you need to bring $35 cash for the cleaning fee to be paid at the location. Arrival after 5pm was problematic for other guests because there was no one on site and they had to call around to get the key. The cleaning lady handed us our key at 3:00, after hours check in was not explained well in our directions, so I am glad we did not have to do that. We tried to assist other travelers when they ran into that problem. So, basically, avoid this porperty if you cannot arrive between 2 and 5 pm. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
When I booked this through hotels.com, it did not make it clear this was an apartment. There is no reception so you must get your keys at a lock box in the front. The owner emails you the code to get into the door. The apartment was clean, but our neighbors smoked. The smoke would blow into our room since we needed to keep the windows open. It was extremely […] hot in the apartment. Additionally, the bed was not comfortable. Imagine a queen size pillow case stuffed with cotton balls half way. It provided no support. We were also charged a cleaning fee, which hotels.com did not make us aware of when we booked our reservation. Usually all of those fees are included in the total. Either way I would not recommend this place for anyone to stay at. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Terrible experience never to be repeated"
Firstly there was no personal check in and the only way to get your keys was from a machine. unfortunately we hadn't been given a code for the machine and the woman at the end of the intercom was no help and refused to come down and speak to us. Luckily a handyman arrived and was eventually able to help us. We still have no idea where we were supposed […] to get the code from and in all the information about the appartments in stated that there was supposed to be personal check in at the time we arrived. There was only half a curtain (which was hanging off the rail) so as soon as the sun rose the room was in daylight. The fridge door seal was broken so it didn't close properly, the hob tripped the electric and the dryers in the laundry room didn't work so we were left with a whole load of wet washing to take home. They then charge you 35 Euros for 'cleaning' which you don't find out about until after booking. Do not stay here! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is a long way from the main tourist sites but there is plenty of public transport nearby if needed. The position was noisy with the main railway line and trams passing frequently. It had good laundry facilities and free parking.Overall you get what you pay for.Genuine Expedia guest review
Appartment was a bit far from downtown but near the train station (5min by Tram 62) and the Schrobrunn Palace/Zoo ( 10 min by Tram 60). Clean place but expect to pay 35€ for cleaning fee when you leave. The cleaning lady don't speak English but was so kind to accept to let us store our luggages after check-out time at 10am till 2pm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Apartment with all basic requirements"
The apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. It had off road parking and was quite easy to find. It is close to a railway line so trains can be heard during the day and night. It is about 2 miles from the nearest underground (Heitzig) so not close to the centre but in a nice residential area. It is also about 2 miles from Schonnenbrun […] Palace. It was good value for money. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Gut.

"Nice cheap and clean apartmenthouse in Vienna"
Nice one room apartment with new IKEA furniture. We stayed there with our two children aged 10 and 13 for 2 nights. It has a small kitchen with a stove, oven, coffee machine and so on. The railway lies near by and makes a considerable noise even though we had an apartment on the far side of the building. Due to the warm weather we had a window open […] which of cause made the noise so much louder. I woke up during the night because of the noise, but my wife and children didn’t, so perhaps I’m just a light sleeper. You get a code for the entrance door and the key box by email in advance so the only staff you meet is the cleaning lady, who collects money for the cleaning. They prefer payment by credit card.
Altra piccola mancanza è quella dell'ascensore. "Good accomodation in reasonable price"
05/23/13 MarlenaSt Warsaw, Poland
Good apartment, the room is not so big but inside you got everything you need and kitchen is very well equiped even if you are staying longer then just vacation time. I was living on the left side of the building so I didn't hear any train like the people from right side. Instead of train I heard singing birds especially during spring time, which was really a nice surprise. Apartment has big wardrobe which is very helpful if you are comming for longer period of time. Nice, quiet neighborhood. One of the nicest districts of Vienna. Close to Schönbrunn and not so war away from the city center by public transport. I can trully recommend this place.
"Perfect place, execept for one thing!!"
01/30/13 Erin G Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
My husband and I stayed in this hotel in July of 2012 for 2 nights while in Vienna visiting family. The hotel itself was great. We had rented a car in Frankfurt Germany and with the GPS, it was very easy to find. The parking lot was a little tight, so we parked on the street. Thats a gamble in Vienna, as they have really odd parking rules, but we made out with no tickets or tows. The code box key drop was very handy especially if you arrive late. Our room was on the second floor at the end of our own hallway so there was other rooms right next to us. The apartment was lovley. Modern furniture and amenities. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. the whole apartment was very clean and tidy. TV and DVD player were a bonus. We really enjoyed the room, except for one thing!!! THE TRAIN. If you face the front doors of this building, our room was on the right side wall, which apparently is 3 inches from the tracks (or so it sounds) every half an hour it sounded like the train was running right through the room and it lasted all night, I havent ever experieinced noise like this in a hotel. Its not the hotels fault that it is so loud, and maybe a room on the opposite side would be much better. I do not blame the hotel, and give the establishment all the thumbs up I can for location, cleanliness and decor.

A very nice and clean apartment with a great place. I saw people complaining about the train but in our 3 night that we spent there we didn't had any problem. The check in and the payment are very easy and the host excellent.
"Very nice apartment"
12/14/12 Raluca P Timisoara, Timis, Romania
We spent a weekend in this beautiful apartment, we had everything we needed. It was easy to reach, we also had a place for our car in their own parking place. Very nice and easy with the code for the key. I slept very well, I really don't understand why people said in previous reviews that is a lot of noise, because it is not true. The building is not right next to the railroads, it is true that you hear them, but they don't disturb sow much and in the evening they don't even run. The true is that they are a little far away from the center, but they are very close to Schonbrunn Palace and other nice places, I also think that if you go to visit Vienna, center is something that you see in a day, you have a lot of nice things that you have to visit.
"Must Love Trains"
We picked this place because Expedia said it was in the "City Center". Well, it's not. Yes, it's reasonably priced, but not worth the time and effort it took getting to the fun part of town. For someone on a backpacking trip, I think it would be fine since they'd be used to trekking about town anyway. But if you are on a short vacation or don't have a lot of time to spend on transit, I'd recommend finding a place closer to the City Center. The other thing was, when we got here, the front door was locked and we had to ring the buzzer for someone to let us in. Luckily the cleaning lady happened to be around so she opened the door. If you happen to come at an inconvenient time (for them), good luck getting in. I would recommend calling ahead to make arrangements, as other advisors have commented. Our room doesn't seem to have a/c and we don't want to keep the windows open because of the trains, so it's pretty stuffy in the room. The trains are close but not too bad- few and far between. Of course, I haven't gone to bed yet so... I don't mean to say only negative things about this place, so here are the good things- Free laundry facilities! Can't beat that! The instructions are not in English though so good luck with that. The room is super cute, and has full kitchen amenities. You can make smallish meals if you bring all the right stuff. There is a fridge, oven, stove, microwave, and all the pots/pans/utensils. There's also a DVD player in the room. Hope this helps!
"Not good if you are a light sleeper..."
We had huge problems "checking in" - the apartments aren't manned which we did not realise when booking. We ought to have been emailed a pin code to access the apartment when we booked but did not (and of course did not know it would be necessary). It took at least an hour and numerous expensive frustrating phone calls, where it appeared we were hung up on, to eventually obtain the code. While the apartment itself is well equipped and a good size it is located extremely close to the railway ie right beside it which makes sleeping difficult. Additionally the curtains are too thin to keep out the light, and one window had no curtain. The apartment was clean however, and cheap. Access to the city by tram is convenient but would not stay again.
"In the morning I thought I slept in a train"

+ The hotel is cheap + No reception, only automatic check-in + Free Wi-Fi - Pillows and beds are very uncomfortable - Train station and a tram is near hotel and I got an impression, that I slept in a train - VERY, VERY, VERY noisy I am not sure, that it REALLY worth 3 stars :/
"Too far from the city"
01/10/09 hellofish Australia
This place is way too far from the city centre! You need to get a train which takes about 15-20 minutes, then a tram which takes another 10-20 minutes - THEN you need to walk 5 minutes... It's probably OK for long term stays but if you're only here for a couple of days STAY ELSEWHERE. There isn't actually anyone here to take your booking/check you in - it's all done by a machine - so if you don't have a credit card with an IC chip I don't know what you'd do - this annoyed me because I wanted to pay in cash to avoid my bank's ridiculous international processing charges. On the plus side, the rooms are very spacious and clean and contain everything you need for cooking etc. and the laundry facilities are 100% free.
10/31/13 EvgenyBy Moscow, Russia

Bisogna telefonare e parlare in tedesco. Capelli sui piumoni. Bagno semi-pulito ma funzionale. L'acqua calda funziona molto bene. Tossici ovunque in metropolitana.
