"Overall good clean basic hotel"
Great location for my work, but you need to be careful in the neighbourhood at night. Although the building looks drab, it is clean and colourful inside. Basic, but very clean, friendly and helpful staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is far from the center, however there is a big train station close by that connects to the airports and important places in the center. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast was quite good. Definitely not a hotel for a short stay (unless you are driving to Paris). Overall was good and quite cheap.

"Nice hotel, but far from everything"
The Hotel is nice, but the location of the hotel is kind of far from everything. To go to the city, you can take a bus # 153 across the street to Porte De La Chapelle metro station then take the metro to the city. But, the price will be almost the same as taking a taxi. To go to the Eiffel Tower by taxi is not a smart thing to do as it costs about 20 […] Euro/trip.Grocery stores are near by, but the one that is located next to the bar has better service. Most of hotel staffs are very nice and friendly, except Sophie, the receptionist, as she asked for extra money for coffee/hot chocolate which we had been offered for free daily since the day we arrived. One of the receptionist CAN'T speak English at all, which is a very big problem for customers who can't speak French like us. We were asked to pay for the room when we were checking out, which was quite strange as we had already paid the whole sum via Hotels.com. It was a shame to show our proof of the payment in front of other customers while we were living the room's key at the front desk. The hotel might have very bad connection with Hotels.com because we had already paid for the hotel 2 days before we arrived (money had been takekn directly from our account), we stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, and on the checking out day, the hotel still had not received the payment from Hotels.com. Other than the problem about room payment, everything was fine. But, we probably not go back to stay at this hotel again.

"Friendly helpful staff, adequate room"
06/09/14 charlottesmum London, United Kingdom
This hotel is an approx 7 minute walk from the RER, I wouldn't fancy walking alone in the dark as the area isn't particularly great but that was all forgotten each time I returned to the hotel. The lady on the front desk was so friendly and chatty, really helpful, and also each of the restaurant staff and the cleaning staff - everyone said hello!! The room is compact but ideal for sleeping in after a long day sightseeing. The shower is good also. We had the window open at night as it was 28 degrees and no air conditioning but from around 4/5am were woken by the noise of the cars and trains. We only paid £60 a night from booking.com so in my opinion a bargain!
"Ibis St Denis Paris"
05/08/14 DuskyMaiden London England
We travelled as a group of 18 (work colleagues). The accommodation had been booked over a month in advance. We arrived in the evening to find that having asked specifically for double rooms, 2 separate beds, this had been ignored and 3 of the rooms only contained 1 king size bed. The staff (1 person available the whole night) then suggested that it was okay for grown men, unrelated, to share a bed for one night. When we asked to be moved to another hotel, we were told that there was no space in any other Ibis in Paris. When we finally organised our sleeping arrangements so that no one was embarrassed or uncomfortable, it was too late to follow through our plans of going out for the night. So we retired to the hotel bar, only to be told that the drinks they were advertising and they clearly had in the fridge, were not available to us, as they had been reserved by the 'Band'. The band being the contestants from the French edition of 'The Voice' who were also staying at the Hotel. And who, I am assuming, had been given the rooms we were missing. After much protesting, another man, claiming to be the manager arrived an hour or 2 later, with complimentary bottles of wine. The next night some of our party were shunned by the hotel rep' , who was too busy ingratiating himself with 'The Voice' stars and staff. We again being informed that none of the alcohol in the fridge was available as it had been reserved for the band. The area surrounding the Hotel is not great, everything shuts early and the trains stop running at midnight. So despite being only 1 stop on the RER and 2 on the metro into some of the tourist areas of Paris, there is no way back, apart from a taxi, in which the journey is considerably further and longer. The promised luxury breakfast was nothing more than a few croissants and some cheese. The one hotel staff member available on the evening of arrival was also unhelpful and claimed to have no knowledge of the area we were in. I would definitely consider my options before staying at this Ibis again. If you are going to watch the football and are not that bothered, the rooms are adequate with comfy beds and a nice powerful shower.
"Close to Stade de France"
03/20/14 Ann O Delft, The Netherlands
We stayed at this Paris Saint Deni La Plaine hotel (2 rooms) on 15 March. The location is excellent for attending a (rugby) match at Stade de France. Less than 15 mins walking along a well lit route. From check in to departure, we were treated well and we have absolutely no complaints. We use the on site parking which is ideally situated to the rear of the hotel. We were greated in a very friendly and professional manner by the staff on duty (two ladies including Ms. Soumia Najmi). Our rooms were on the fourth floor. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The Wifi worked without a problem! I recommend this hotel to those seeking a good value, clean and friendly location to bith Paris and the Stadium. I will return.
"Clean, cheap, convenient with SECURE parking"
03/19/14 DebraKB Argenton-les-Vallees, France
We stayed here, as two couples for a recent 6 Nations match at the Stade de France. It was very convenient for the Stade - just a 6 minute walk. We also chose this hotel for its secure parking at only €9 per night - very reassuring in a basic area of Paris. The hotel was modern, clean and a little like walking into a branch of IKEa where the designers had been on speed - all acid brights and primary colours. It could have passed for a nursery schoool, and indeed it did have a very comprehensive corner of activities for children, with lots of V-Tech gizmos - which looked very exciting, but we were far too old!! The rooms were clean, modern and bright - with free wifi,TV, powerful shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast was help-yourself continental, which was include in the room rate of €89;it was very good, fresh and plenty of frequently replenished choice. What actually made our stay here stand out was the manager (or assistante de direction) - Soumia Najmi - she was so lovely. Friendly, a great sense of humour, exceptionally helpful and just a pleasure to be around - possibly a rarity in Paris. We would definitely book here again next time we are in Paris (and we do go fairly often) just because Soumia made it such a friendly place.
"Too expensive for what you get, should improve"
01/28/14 Gianluca G Verona, Italy
PRO: Nice modern colors design. Essential things are available. There is a nice kids corner in the lobby. Private parking available and free. Nice TV in the room. The room I had is suitable for a family having a double bed plus a single. The bed was comfortable. CONS: Smell in the elevator, paint smell going to the room, smoke smell in the room….the main problem is that is not well aerated. Internet so slooooow. Small bathroom, the wc is positioned below the lavabo desk, so it’s easy something fall inside it. Computer desk is small, I had to move it in another position to be able to reach the only power plug for my laptop. The room is small and low roof (you can touch it with your hands). Little bit noisy, could hear very well when my opponent was opening/closing his door. Breakfast area is small, with small tables (be carefull how you move), food provided is essential and good, but….no dishes?!?! no forks?!! To eat the pineapple slice provided I had to put them in a cup, and hold it with a knife……hard to believe… Definitively not worth the price I paid for 1 night (121 euro).
"It has a bed, Tv and Wifi. What more do you need."
10/30/13 CoveRoyal Fleet, United Kingdom
Located on the outskirts of Paris this was an ideal hotel for the location of our work, just a 5 minute walk away. A very colourful hotel. The receptionist was helpful and cheerful. Room on the second floor. Tv, free wifi (come on UK get with the plan), bathroom with wet shower, complimentary haribo and water. Small room with comfortable bed. If all you want is the very basics but good quality stay here. There is a small secured carpark which you have to pay for but we were able to leave our van there while we did our work even though we had booked out. Breakfast typical continental and very nice. They even had a fresh orange juicer. Never seen that before. 5 minute walk to the Stade de France and i believe the metro was near too. All in all I have stayed in alot worse b&b in the uk. For what I need would use again.
"Decent place to stay"
10/13/13 kevimundo Indianapolis, Indiana, Usa
Good location with relation to RER, a decent breakfast, and good WiFi connections. Not real great for spending time in the room, but if you are visiting Paris why stay in the hotel? Basics were good, clean and relatively quiet, near a corner that is well populated with grocery and good Turkish carry out. Will definitely stay again.
"Great choice for greater Paris"
10/09/13 h2tni Bamako, Mali
I was lucky to have a special (3 nights for price of 2) which made this the best choice of hotel for me. Especially since breakfast was included (which is often not the case in Paris), and secure parking was only 9€ (which is often 20€ per day in Paris hotels). The elevator was not working when I arrived, and the receptionist was so kind to put me on the first floor, near the staircase, and even helped me carry up my luggage. The smell from the flooding was pretty unpleasant on the staircase - as was the smell of people smoking in the hallway that came into my room. The stuffy smell in the room was easily counteracted by opening the one small window - thankfully to the backside of the hotel. The room was small but had everything that was needed, and with fresh, joyful, colors. I was pleasantly surprised to have a small bathtub in the bathroom. Wireless internet was free, but required to log back on every time you turned on the computer. Breakfast was great for Parisian standards - freshly pressed orange juice, ham and cheese, yoghurt, cereals, crêpes, fruit. There was a little supermarket just a minute away from the hotel which was nice, and a bakery around the corner, and they were all open 7 days a week, until late night, which allowed me to have all the food needed - of course without being able to keep anything that needed refrigeration. I did not use public transportation, but the RER A station is not far away, and the subway a 20 minute walk away. I'd definitely stay there again.
"GOOD BUDGET BUT COSTLIER FOR ME"
09/30/13 SaswatSaraph Kolkata (Calcutta), India
Good hotel but rooms are small. Place of hotel is also not very good when you are an outsider. They rate they charged me for first day was too high. Silver lining was the assistance from the hotel staff
"To far from Paris Centre if for leisure"
07/12/13 KNG6900 Oedelem, Belgium
This hotel rather for business than for leisure as I find it to far from the Paris Centre. The price paid in comparison with Novotel London is to expensive. The surroundings of the hotel is rather untidy compared to other cities.
