We booked this place because of the nighty rate as we only need a place to stay the night before we flew out to our next destination. We arrived late wasting time eating and using the free wifi over dinner. To our surprise, not only did we waste time since the room has free wifi, but it was a very nice set up and cozy room with a nice 40" flat screen […] and lots of channels. When we pulled up, we where a little concerned because it is a converted house that is split up into seperate rooms. But each has it's own door and a shared kitchen if you disire to use that. It isn't close to the city centre, but not far from the beach. The room we had was purple themed and had a fresh flower on the bed when we checked in, a nice touch. We had a king bed with a bunk bed in the corner. There was only two of us, but if we had kids or 2 others, we easliy would have all been comfortable in this room. Location might be the only down fall, but I would stay here again the next time I'm in Christchurch and deal with the distance for the comfort we had and felt. Read more

My wife and I took the upper appartment with the kitchen and shower. Great apartment, and a very good location if you have a car. Kim, the owner is very nice and helpful. This property is excellent value for money, on street parking may be a problem for some but was fine for me. The owner could not have been more helpful and would happily stay again. Wish some of the big places were run as well as this one

Clean room with free fast internet. It is located far away from the airport and city centre, so be prepared to pay minimum thirty to forty bucks for the one way trip there. It's located in a suburb in a suburbian house. There were no breakfast included, instead you got a bowl of old small plastic pieces of jam and butter. I had to ask for some bread. […] Freezer and fridge was switched off so in case I had to bring my own food, I had to wait a few hours to get it cool. The owner is very friendly and helpful, he wants the trip to be good and is eager to help. He was doing all he could to make it good, but he should spend some nights in a normal hotel to learn what people expect in terms of some minor but basic needed things. Would I stay there again? No, I would pay 10 bucks more for a place near the city that has the basics. Again, the internet worked like a charm! If you are a backpacker you would probably like it. The bed was HUGE and you get TV with every channel you need for free. Read more

This hotel is a house converted one. It's far away from Christchurch,some 20 km from city centre. If u don't have a car it's difficult to get there,it's in new Brighton. Free car parking is you have to stop the car outside the premises in the road. The water was white in colour and not clear. Separate kitchen means u have to share with fellow roommates […] !!!room is too small. Free wifi means u cant download anything or u are charged.i wouldn't recommend it. Read more

Very comfortable stay. The hospitality of the host (Kim) was just awesome. Not many dining options but that is expected in a motel. A bit far from city center, but if you are looking for a reasonable but decent place close to the beach, then this place may just be perfect!

Christchurch市街からは車で10分程離れていますが、レンタカーでの移動だったので、 全く不便はありませんでした。 住宅街の中に在り、目立つ看板も出ていないので、初めは見落としてしまいました。 ご主人に案内されて部屋に入ると、とてもいい香りが漂っていました。 部屋は、クイーンサイズのベッドと二段ベッドがあり、きれいに清掃されていていました。 お花が生けてあったり、ベッドにバラの花びらが散りばめてあったり…と細かい心遣いが随所に感じられました。 部屋の外にはバラの花が咲く庭があり、とても静かで、夜もぐっすり眠れました。 車で5分程行くとビーチがあり、それに沿ってスーパーマーケットやレストラン、バー、雑貨店等の店が並んでおり、とても便利です。 朝食は付いていませんが、共同キッチンに置 […] いてある飲み物以外にもシリアルやジャム、バターも使えるので、助かりました。 ３日間の滞在でしたが、こんなに満足出来て、しかもこの値段で泊まれるとは驚きです。 また、Christchurchに行く機会があったら、絶対にここを選びます！ Read more
