We put all our luggage in the one room and were promised that when the room next to us when cleaned it would be my other room. This was a wonderful place to stay. Close to 101, easy access to many places in the city and outlying areas. Came down for spring training and loved that we had shuttle service available to and from the ballpark.

The room was very clean, continental breakfast was decent, close to the highway, shops and restaurants less than a mile away, adjacent to the casino parking lot, and staff was courteous. However, for the price, you would think the rooms would at least have a mini refrigerator. Hotel is new and nicely appointed for a mid-priced facility. The pool area is by far its weakest feature. The pool is small and located in a blocked in area behind the hotel. I also had trouble with the WiFi. All in all it is a very nice hotel and a very convenient location just off the 101. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is middle of the road. Very pleasant inside. We had a problem with housekeeping but the manager immediately comped us the room for the night. I've stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns and this one was one of the best -- clean, new and well kept. However, the hotel's location is pretty isolated and there's really nothing within walking distance. For that reason, I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay - met all our needs and was a pleasant, new hotel. Close to Talking Stick Casino, easy to access the loop freeway. Not much else in the close vicinity - lots of empty land around the hotel and casino - felt safe & quiet.

Overall the stay was enjoyable there were a few things here and there that were a bit unsettling. Upon check in we went up to our room and found there was no microwave or mini fridge which was listed online at hotels.com when I booked my reservation. This is something that was corrected by the front desk right away and we were moved to another room. […] I appreciate that it's just something that should be updated for future guests.The first evening there on Friday, 8/24 we were in our room getting ready for a birthday dinner when my mother and nephew arrived. She asked at the front desk for our room to pick us up and the receptionist asked her if she was planning to stay there with us. My mother said the person at the desk was not very nice in the way that was asked but was told no, we were going to a dinner and she was there to pick us up. The following day on 8/25 my sister and I went to breakfast and everything was very good. Once exception was that I picked out a chocolate drizzle pastry and luckly I broke it apart with my hands and found it had mold inside. I took it to the woman working in the breakfast area which she was very quick to apologize and remove the rest of the treats which I greatly appreciated. Read more

We had concert tickets at the Talking Stick resort, but stayed across the road at the Riverwalk because of the vast difference in room prices. There are shuttles back and forth from the two at all hours and we found the staff and accomodations excellent. I would stay here again, its very clean, the staff was polite and professional. I wish it had a shuttle run to the airport. They do have a shuttle but only goes out to a 5 mile vicinity. Hotel maids were very helpful. The only Hotel that does sit near a new Casino.

Wasn't told when checkout time was and was woken to house cleaning knocking on our door every 30 minutes until noon when we were checking out and got a phone call from the front desk. Excellent work out room. Pool was nice, not much shade. They offered a free shuttle to and from places until 10pm. The casino is walking distance, unless you stay in the summer. Breakfast was real good also with various offerings, cold and hot foods and drinks. Loved the 24 hour coffee. The only down side, which could be a deal breaker, is the rooms […] are horribly sound insulated. With the casino next door, partiers are very easy to hear in the middle of the night. It was pretty pleasant except for some of the other visitors were kind of loud and roudy during the day and night. But I guess because of the location being near the casino you tend to draw those types. So because of that I am not sure we would stay again just because of safety issues.

The hotel is new and is setup nice. My main complaints is that although it's close to a major freeway there are no surrounding buildings other than a casino. Also, the bed was not that comfortable, I've stayed at an other Hampton Hotel in a different part of the phoenix area and the bed was much more comfortable. Another nuance was the difficulty of […] getting to this hotel as the surrounding roads do not allow direct access to the parking lot. This is a really nice property. Close to a major highway. Very well set out. We however had a problem. A group had decided to have a party here on the same and above floor. Finally, at 12:30 we had had enough. We called the management and complained. They did take care of the problem, but we didn't get much sleep having to get up at 5AM. 4 hrs sleep. […] So....... suggestion to management: include a page on appropriate behavior of guests. Excessive noise after say 10PM is discouraged as it is unfair to the other paying guests. We stayed 3 days and in the last one they didn´t clean the room. Our room was close to the elevator and a lot of noise could be heard at all times. On the positive side the hotel is new, excellent price for it.

I was there for a conference at the Talking Stick next door. They could not house me so I looked for something close, I didn't have a car. The Hamp was only open 4 days when I checked in so still new. The staff was very nice, I really enjoyed the hostess in the breakfast lounge.
