This is not a "3-Star" hotel when compared to what you would find in most popular travel destinations (London, Berlin, San Francisco, etc.), but I feel that it's 3-3.5 star when compared to other hotels in Fes, especially for the price. The hotel, just as everything else in the Medina (and the city as a whole) is old and not exactly well taken care […] of. Some of the light fixtures are broken and clearly taped together with scotch tape, the tiles on the floor, tables and walls are broken and uneven, the paint, pictures and everything else has not been taken care of or restored, and it looks as though it could use with a thorough scrub. That being said, it was still a pleasant experience and if you aren't expecting a Hilton and understand that overall state of the country and that you should not expect much, then you will be satisfied. The night staff, a man named Mohamed (I believe), was the best part about our stay. He was helpful, pleasant and quick with advice or little tidbits of history. It was a good first impression of the city and the country. However, the female day staff were the complete opposite. They did not speak, answer questions or follow through with requests. We asked for more tea at the start of breakfast and waited 30 minutes before we just gave up. NO privacy, walls are paper thin. The hotel is on the outskirts of the media but you can get a "petite taxi" to the Jewish quarter or new city for 10-20 dirham ($1.2-$2.5/1-2euro). A good hotel for the money. Read more

The staff are friendly and most speak some English. Fresh breakfast in the morning. The neighborhood can be a bit dodgy at certain times of day, but I never had any problems. It can be difficult to locate due to its location on a side street, but well worth the money. The room was well-kept and comfortable, though a bit small.

This Riad is in a terrific location just steps inside the blue gate of the world's largest Medina. We were in Morocco for the World Music Festival just 5 minutes walking from the Riad. Since we'd never been we wondered if we'd find it. No problem. The staff were friendly and welcoming with a glass of Moroccan tea waiting upon arrival. The courtyard, […] room, hotel and rooftop all spoke of authentic Moroccan. They gave great advice for eating and for a tour guide. The only downfalls were that the best room was quite a climb three floors up, our beds were traditionally Moroccan hard and that our breakfast although plentiful with bread options was not agreeable with my celiac problems. None of which are the fault of the staff in my opinion. Otherwise we would highly highly recommend this Riad. Excellent Fes experience. Read more

The cost was reasonable if you want to have more space and the service was great at the hotel. They arranged a taxi to pick us up from the bus and were extremely friendly. Fez is chaotic and messy but this suite is a wonderful oasis from the souqs and faux guides. The location is excellent, walk outside and you are a 3 minute walk from the main gate and the best outdoor cafes of the medina..right outside of all the shops as well. The rooms are amazing...get a suite if you can...the rooms are nicer than even our honeymoon […] suite...very large, four poster bedroom, living room and a giant bathroom with a tub big enough for two. rooms are air conditioned and also have an outside patio....the rooms and riad are gorgeous and filled with moroccan antiques and handicrafts. breakfast is wonderful and filling (moroccan pancakes are wonderful) and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. On our last day we have a 2am train and they let us keep our bags there after checkout and even let us take a quick nap before heading out! Highly recommended riad and great for a multi day vacation...or even if you just want a quiet rest from the chaos! Read more

El Riad es muy cómodo y nos atendieron muy bien, su ubicación permite ir caminando a todos los lugares de interés dentro de La Medina. Excelentes desayunos típicos. A pesar de que se nota la antiguedad del lugar, está muy limpio y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos hermosos días en la maravillosa ciudad antigua de Fes.

この値段でいいの？というくらいのリヤドでした。パティオに面した部屋はダブルサイズのベッドに二階にはリビング。素敵な家具。お風呂には大きなバスタブ。サボンノワールやボディソープ。朝食はたくさんのパンやジャム、はちみつ。飲み物はコーヒー、ショコラ、ミントティー、オレンジジュース。本当に至れり尽くせりでした！立地もバッチリ。フェズの駅からブー・ジュルード門までタクシーで10分。9.5DH。10DHはらったら、ちゃんとおつりをくれました。タクシーを降りて、5分で到着。メディナ内ですが、わかりやすいです。 フェズにはまた、行きたいです。そして、必ずこのリヤドに泊まります(*^^*)

I stayed here with 5 friends as we were traveling through Morocco. The employees were SUPER accommodating given that I had originally booked a room for 5 total people however another friend joined in last minute. Instead of smushing us all in one room, they provided us with two separate rooms since there was extra space available. The location is on […] a nicer (for the Medina) side, close to local restaurants and a few of the nicer good ones (ie Cafe Clock). I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive stay with all of the amenities you would look for in a standard hotel! Read more

riad molto carino. buono rapporto qualità/prezzo. il guardiano notturno Mohammed è molto gentile e prodigo di buoni consigli. Anche se si è nella medina, il riad risulta fresco e silenzioso.
