GOLDEN EAGLE MOTEL - Marlboro

Had a great time! They upgraded us to a larger room to put us next to our friends. The room was Okay - comfy bed and they had a real causal laid back attitude in Vermont - if you can roll with the punches your GOLD! We had no heat in our room but a roaring fire place and they gave us a ton of wood and it all worked out fine. I enjoyed our stay...

Interesting and cozy. Bathroom is in serious need of a GRAB Bar near the tub/shower, as well as rods on which to hang towels!Breakfast was surprisingly good. Coffee was EXCELLENT Brattleboro itself ...is a fascinating mix of 60/70s funk and 2013 sophistication, with the requisite brewpubs, locavore restaurants and crystal shops.Nice people all around town.

Loved this beautiful farm with welcoming fireplaces. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive and welcoming. Room for a family of 4 was perfect: cosy, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The food was delicious-- loved in particular our incredibly delicious breakfasts, as well as Nonna's italian specialties for dinner. Would recommend it for any family looking for a relaxing vacation.

We stayed overnight before visiting Williams College. Easy to find (right on main rd, but not too noisy), couple of casual restaurants within walking distance. Staff polite and responsive, but not overly friendly. Room was clean and well set up. Free wifi. Only dissppointment was the shower which had limited power and hot water. Continental breakfast was wrapped muffins and cereal, nothing fancy but good enough for a quick bite before hitting the road. Good experience at a good price.

We stayed for one night at this hotel while traveling, and it was the most comfortable bed I slept in the entire week. The hot breakfast was great. The pool was small, as was the fitness room, but the room was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a comfy spot to rest for the night, this is it!
