The owners could not have been nicer. They were warm and outgoing and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We spent New Years Eve at the House. The husband, a gormet chef, prepared a New Years Eve dinner that was extraordinary!! A traditional English country side home. Small rooms but spotless. We would return!!!

When planning our current trip, my husband said that he'd never been on the Atlantic coast and wanted to see it. I found the Wellington Hotel through hotels.com, and it looked nice so I booked it. Best. Decision. Ever. The hotel is wonderful, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, the room combined old-fashioned charm with a very modern en-suite bathroom, and the location is stunning. Also a big selling point is the hotel's chef, who provided us with an incredible dinner and luscious desserts, with tea served in the warm and inviting loungee. My only warning is that the hotel doesn't have elevators and the rooms are two flights up, so be aware that you will be climbing stairs. if you don't have a problem with that, you're guaranteed a wonderful stay.

Once we had found our way down the narrow Cornwall lanes, we were very pleased with this B&B. The nearby Portscatho was just the sort of tiny coastal village we had hoped to find in Cornwall. It's a bit out-of-the-way, down narrow, hedge-row-lined lanes, but Trewithian Farm is a lovely place with pleasant hostess and fine English breakfast.

Hearty, gourmet food - best on entire trip!! Extraordinarily helpful hosts at front desk who helped research bus schedules and gave a lift to town. Local bus stop very near. Lovely walking trails at nearby manor house gardens.

Conveniently near the airport, Molesworth Manor is in Wadebridge (North Cornish Coast), close to Cornwall's Crealy Adventure Park and Prideaux Place. Additional area attractions include Constantine Bay and Polzeath Beach.

We were met at the door by Jeff, the landlord, who made us feel totally relaxed and welcomed, he showed us around and then showed us to our room - all was lovely! We had one of the "Superior Rooms" it was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was big enough to hold a party in!!! One morning my wife mentioned to Jess, the landlady, that we'd enjoyed sitting […] by the log fire the previous evening, so in the early evening she came and saw us, asked us what time we'd like the fire lit for that day - sheer bliss. Overall, I would highly recommend Molesworth Manor, the breakfasts were very good, the comfort level, high, cleanliness again high, but even more important was the kindness and thoughtfulness of the owners and the staff. Beautiful old rectory converted to a hotel set in lovely gardens just over 2 miles from Padstow. Inside the hotel has spacious guest lounges with beautifully furnished in leeping with the Manor. We stayed in the Maids Room (booked through Hotels.Com and didnt realise it was the smallest of the 9 rooms) However still a lovely room with views from the […] window looking right down the valley. Hotel and room exceptionally clean. Breakfast is great - fresh squeezed orange juice, plenty of good hot coffee with a choice of cooked to order hot meals. Molesworth Manor has been our favourite Cornish 'B&B' since the 1980s when I first stayed there. It goes from strength to strength, with lovely and thoughtful touches being added as the premises are continually updated. Why stay in Padstow when Molesworth is so near?
