I stayed at this place for three nights in April 2013. It has some pros: it is conveniently located to the train station and major sites of Izmir, and the front desk staff were very helpful. However, there were cons as well: my room was not ready when I checked in, the tv in the room did not work, and most frustratingly, my room did not get hot water […] - or it did, but only after running both the sink and shower simultaneously for 25 minutes after 8 pm. The amenities - such as the lounge, cafe, and gym were in the basement and not very inviting. If you're just in Izmir for a short stay and need a conveniently located hotel, then this place is fine. But all the little frustrations and inconveniences added up after awhile and make me rate this hotel as sub-par in the categories of maintenance, cleanliness, and comfort. Read more

This hotel is in a neighborhood full of hotels, but you're probably better off with the others. It is near the International Fairgrounds, the Basmane Train Station and Kemeraltı Çarşısı (bazaar). When I complained to the hotel staff about the lack of cleanliness, they wanted to help and said they'd inform the housekeeping staff. Either they never got the message to their staff or the cleaning staff just doesn't know how to clean. Also, my room was near the elevator, which made very loud clanking noises that disturbed my sleep. The room's lighting was fluorescent and ugly. The walls were in need of a new paint job and were painted that awful sort of sterile white. The internet was very spotty and didn't work in our room - we had to use it in the downstairs lobby. We were to stay for 3 nights but only stayed one. One of the rooms had no hot water and there was mold all over the bathroom ceiling. Very unhealthy. There wasn't enough floor space for our two small suitcases or backpacks. Very small and uncomfortable room. It was advertised as a 3-star hotel but wasn't even close. Hot water, well I should say warm water only runs from 6.30pm till mid morning and they don't tell you when you check in that you need to run the shower & tap for a good 10-15mins before the water gets warm. Great value for money - very good location, clean with air-conditioning. We had a tour pick-up at 730 am so the fact that breakfast was only from 8am onwards was a bit disappointing - they could have accomodated us better by offering to provide breakfast at 715 at least. Otherwise, staff were very friendly and helpful. Free internet.

The hotel is right next to Basmane train station, useful to get to Efes by train. The hotel staff are very friendly and speak very good english. Unfortunately the double room we were allocated to is very run down, especially the bathroom, which was in a state of disrepair. Therefore it was rather unpleasant staying there.

이즈미르 곳곳을 걸어가기에 제법 괜찮은 곳에 접해있습니다. 하지만 영어를 할 줄 아는 직원이 한명뿐이며, 객실이 너무 좁다는 것은 분명히 아쉽습니다. 또, 주차를 할 수 없으며, 호텔 입구를 들어갈 때 마다 주변 레스토랑에서 호객행위를 너무 격하게 하는 나머지 굉장히 피곤했습니다. 약간 어둡고 좁은 느낌을 제외하고는 아주 만족스러웠습니다.

Vriendelijk, deskundig en plezierig. Kamer misschien niet al te groot maar daarentegen ruime badkamer. Hotel is wat ouder en dat kan je wel zien maar heel netjes. Uitstekende ligging en hoewel in een druk buurtje geen enkele geluidsoverlast. Prima dus!
