I really enjoyed my 12-night stay at the Windmill. The staff was very kind and helpful, and my room was very clean and comfortable. The food is delicious and plentiful. The WIndmill is conveniently located just off the M6, and the atmosphere is very warm and intimate, lots of charm. Very good pub/hotel. Service as excellent and the locations was really good for access to the M6 and the main Chester-Manchester highway. Would definately stay again when in the area next time.

We decided last minute to have a family weekend away two children age 9 and 11 years. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom. The adult bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed was a bit hard although the kids managed ok. There was very little road noise which was a surprise. I stayed overnight as I was going to a wedding. It is a quite place and the staff are very friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean as described on the website. It is small with only 7 rooms however that adds to it. I would stay gain and will be recommending it to friends.

My family stayed one night at the Windmill and we were delighted with the size of the room. My wife and two teenage daughters had plenty of room to move around. We didn't feel crampt at all. Even the bathroom was spacious. This was the first hotel we've stayed in where the towel rack actually kept the towels warm. We enjoyed a very delicious dinner […] and the following moring breakfast was just as good. What amazed us was that even though we were on a busy street, the street noise did not permeate the room. We slept very well. We were promptly provided with a fan and extra towels when we asked for them. We would stay here again. Read more

Good value for money, room excellent, large well equiped and well maintained. Breakfast was of high quality in a nice enviroment. Only slight downside was could hear noise from other rooms which went of to past midnight. Would stay there again.
