The Corus was a good value for the money - especially after walking into some of the other private hotels in the area....the room was clean and spacious by European standards. The towels were a little worn as was the carpet and the upholstered furniture - but the bed had crisp linens and the bath was very clean. With little time spent in the room, I would consider staying there again for the price.

Apart from the beds being too short, we both 6ft & 6ft 2, it was a pleasant stay. Friendly reception, although he took my partners bag upstairs & left... me with mine, hmmm!! It was a very cheap and convenient stay as we were visiting friends in the area and didn’t want to crowd them. The room was basic but included everything you might want (including kettle, tea and biscuits) and was clean. The guy on reception was very friendly. The only thing letting it down was the lack of soundproofing – I could hear people talking […] and showering in other rooms (even though there were no ‘rowdy’ guests, noise was at normal level) and the train going past the window kept me from sleeping in in the morning. The fridge in the room was also noisy but I just unplugged it. Otherwise, it's in a very quiet location. Free wifi and the use of the kitchen for breakfast were a really nice touch. If you’re not a light sleeper I’d recommend it. Read more

I stayed here for 1 week and found the location for travelling into Central London very good from the nearby train station. Also nice restaurants in the local town. Clean room with shared kithcen facilities if you need them. Also free broadband for all guest which is a nice touch. Would stay again

Man tilbereder selv sin morgenmad og rydder/vasker selv op. Bien que desservi par le train, j'ai trouvé un peu long le trajet quotidien de 1h30 pour aller au centre de Londres (29 km !!) La chambre était petite pour 3, avec une fenêtre impossible à ouvrir et couverte de moisissure. La salle de bain minuscule et sale à notre arrivée. Par contre service impeccable, le personnel est super gentil. La formule petit […] déjeuner à volonté est géniale, la salle de repas sympa. Für 21/2 Sterne kann man wahrscheinlich nicht mehr erwarten als eine einfache Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war sauber, hat aber wohl länger keinen neuen Anstrich gesehen. Nur die Dusche ließ wirklich zu wünschen übrig, Schimmel in der Duschkabine fanden wir nicht so toll. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung, alles vorhanden was man brauchte. Was uns sehr wichtig […] war und auf jeden Fall auch gegeben war, war die gute Anbindung an die City, 5 min. zu Fuß zur Bahnstation und die Bahn fuhr alle 15 min. nach London rein, das war optimal.
