The only complaint we had was that mattress was too firm for our preference. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Beach was right there. No streets to cross.

Our room was very clean with excellent air conditioning and a balcony with pleasant views. The staff were polite and courteous, especially the night... porter who never failed to greet us with a smile, even at 6am when we had to check out early. The swimming pool was small but we still enjoyed it and there were deck chairs there to lay in the sun too. The general condition of the hotel is fine, we did not find fault with any of its amenities and found it quite warm and welcoming. For those who have commented about the hill up to it, yes its a bit steep but it only takes a few minutes to walk up. We would definitely recommend S'Aguarda. No major complaints apart from the fact that the shower was a complete disaster - impossible to use it without getting water all over the floor as the shower screen opened outwards and didn't reach the bath and the shower head was pointing in the wrong direction ! The hotel itself is acceptable and the front desk staff I found adequately friendly, efficient, and helpful. You need to be aware, foremost, that this hotel is up on the Cadaques rise, and you are going to have to climb some pretty steep streets. Signs to its location are poor (which can result, as it did for me, in additional walking -- and I was rucking […] about 45 pounds). I had to ask directions from the locals twice. 1-If you are elderly or out of shape (I'm 61 and did it OK, but wouldn't choose to do it again), don't choose this hotel. 2-If you are packing a lot of luggage, don't choose this hotel. I didn't see a cab in 2 days. Wear the appropriate shoes for walking. The view I had was not panoramic, but it was OK, and worthy of pictures. The internet, though free, is spotty. I didn't get a connection at all the night of my stay, and it only came up the next day 2 hours before checkout. S-Aguarda is one of the more economical hotels in Cadaques, but because of its location it's still arguably a bit over priced. If it took less walking to get to it and was easier to find, I could recommend it. Read more

La relación calidad/ precio del hotel es muy baja. Hace falta una reforma urgentemente. Las habitaciones y los cuartos de baño muy antiguos y desgastados. El precio no está para nada de acorde con un hotel de esta categoría - que como mucho debe tener dos estrellas - más bien hostal que hotel.

Très bon hotel dans l'ensemble. Chambre, service, accueil nikel. Mais isolation phonique des chambres a revoir...Parking gratuit devant l'hotel, faut juste arriver au bon moment pour avoir une place. Bien placé : accès au centre ville à 3min a pied.

Très bon accueil, chambre et salle de bain propres, moment agréable au petit déjeune dans l’hôtel. Personnel très sympathiques et accueillant. J’ai apprécié le moment sieste dans le solarium près de la piscine et la place de parking gratuite.

confort assez rudimentaire pour un 3*, chambres pas bien insonorisées (pas de bruit de la rue, mais des autres chambres), mais la terrasse, la petite piscine sur le toit, le joli jardin où on peut prendre le petit déjeuner et la possibilité de sa garer gratuitement compensent ! bon rapport qualité / prix pour cadaques
