I was impressed with the size of the room, has been remodeled lately, I do like having a microwave and minifridge. I did like having a bar in the hotel to go to play some darts and a pool table. Everybody was friendly. The only bad things they needed to work on was: The sheets where clean, but the top quilt on both beds where stained needs to be replaced. […] States there is a fitness ctr, but really only a sauna that is locked up and not in use. And wasn't told until I arrived that there is an extra cost for Pets. The good outweighed the bad and I would stay there again. Read more

This is an older motel, oddly affixed to an activity/events/restaurant business which has seen better days. Management does a good job keeping the place clean and operating, but there are a few misses...bed was a bit soft, TV was just okay, building security is poor (doors from outside do not have locks) truckers can park outside the East side and idle […] their engines all night, and the ventilating system has no "fan" setting for covering noise. There was a bachelorette party in the bar adjacent to the front desk and the women were loud. While I was signing in, they came out of the bar and went on a scavenger hunt. In their drunken state, they approached me and told me they needed to find a stranger, and I certainly looked like a "strange man". I tried to ignore them, but their scavenger hunt […] required them to find someone to practice walking them down the aisle. I declined and they acted like they didn't know what to do after being denied. Once I got past the obnoxious drunks and into the room, things were a little better.The key card to our room was difficult to work. After about two minutes, I was ready to go back and get another card when the light turned green and we got in. The room wreaked of cigarette smoke. I went back to the front desk and asked for a non-smoking room, which they were glad to provide. From previous experiences, I was worried that non-smoking rooms are not well protected against the stale smoke of the surrounding smoking rooms, but I was pleased that the room was indeed smoke free. Again, the key card was difficult. After about 5 minutes, I had to go to the front desk and tell them I could not get into the room. The manager came and tried and had to reprogram the lock. About 15 minutes later, then had the key situation fixed. The motel room was decent, but showed a few signs of wear Nevertheless, all we needed was a bed for 8 hours and a morning shower. Arrived at 10:30 p.m. after traveling 4 1/2 hours - for a funeral the next day. Rooms were not that easy to locate within the hotel. We had an inner hall room. Smelled like smoke in the hallway. Ours was a non-smoking room. Room smelled ok. Could tell the hotel had been trying to remodel, however, very sloppy job with plaster type evidence splashed […] out on the steps coming into the building and also very poor quality work in the room. Fire alarm battery was low, so alarm went off intermittently starting around 2:30 a.m. Husband took it down off the wall, and took the battery out. Showerhead sprayed water all over the ceiling in the shower. At breakfast, one attendant on duty and she seemed to be overwhelmed by the 6 of us there. No one else in the breakfast area at that time. She took our breakfast coupon/tickets, and then went to the back room. We had to go back to the back room and ask for waffle batter and hot water - Felt like we were an inconvenience. Would stay elsewhere if the need to be in Chillicothe comes again. Read more

this was the 1st of mny to come of weekend getaways we are planning. however never agin will we stay at this hotel or this hain again. while the room was clean enough i guess, the mattress was much less than desirable.when you sit on the matress it was comfortable enough but whn you stood up it tokk the springs in the matress awhile to catch up. you […] could actually her the spings pop into place.and when you layed down for the nite , the matress was vey very uncomfortable.the staff acted like they didnt cre. as it would have taking them from the smoke breaks.i dont mind the smoking at all but seriously they shouldnt leave the front desk unattended so much.all in all i was nt impressedwith this motel at all.will look on next time Read more

A Good All Round Experience, Clean, Friendly Staff, smimming pool, a place to work out for visitors, a bar restaurant, wireless internet, 32" flat screen tv, and a lot of great channels to watch. And a Great Price. Oh yeah I could actualy sleep there. You Don't get the traffic noise there like at one of the other places I stayed at.

The Days Inn has a little age on it, but the room was in GREAT SHAPE - like new. There's a small truck stop near, but I only saw it - never heard it. The complimentary breakfast has over-easy eggs (you don't see that everywhere) which were a real treat. This hotel was awful. Dirty, air conditioning didn't work, bedding was not clean, and many other things were bad. I would have rated it less than one if I could have. Never will stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

It appeared that management needed to consider the comfort of customers in the restaurant and bar, especially during a time of extreme temperatures. It was too warm to enjoy the experience, thus alternative sought. Renovations must still be in process as bathrooms in dire need with ceiling and bath surround! A little hard to get used to the smoking […] scent in hallways after European policies, but did not really effect scent inside the actual room, surprisingly. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with information to make the stay more enjoyable, like the connection with local YMCA for gym and swimming indoors, and choice of fresh cooked eggs over easy instead of medium which then hardened as they sat. The recliner in my room was extremely comfortable and appreciated the microwave and fridge too. Read more
