Receptionist was very welcoming and courteous. My only concern is that I checked in on Friday mid-day and want out all day Saturday and my room was not cleaned or even clean towels would be appreaiated, but oveall, I would certainly return to that hotel again and as a travel agent, would certainly recommend it to my clients..

The staff was very friendly. Always said hello and asked if they could do anything or if we needed anything. Great coffee available all day. Good size room with a full fridge. Everything we needed, was there. Didn't have to request anything. The gym was clean and pretty spacious. Washer and Dryers were extremely inexpensive! Which was really surprising. […] The ONLY issue I had was when we arrived at the hotel, it was in the low 40s (and was steadily dropping) and the air conditioner was on in the room. It was freezing. Coming from Florida to NC and experiencing those temperatures was not a good time. Considering that was the only issue we had, I can honestly give Home 2 Suites a 5 rating. This is a very modern style hotel which we loved, however, we booked a non-smoking room through hotels.com and upon our arrival, found an ashtray in our room and a VERY heavy smoking odor in our room. After speaking with the front desk and clarifying that we booked a non-smoking room along with our paperwork, she moved us to what she called the "last […] available" non-smoking room. Upon going back to the lobby and changing out keys and going back up to our new "non-smoking" room we again found an ashtray and a smoke odor in the room. All the front desk could do for us was to spray our carpet with a febreeze type product. Two other friends who checked in the following day had the same issue. If you truly want non-smoking, dont stay at this hotel ~ also the "free breakfast" is not that great. Read more

We loved our stay! Very comfortable. Having a kitchenette in the room is wonderful! Everything was clean, quiet, comfortable, and the guests were nice--even the dogs! We felt very much at home and had easy access to Camp Lejeune.

A brand new and modern hotel. Has a coastal California or South Beach-Miami look. Good vibe, nice kitchenette Great facilities. Breakfast is dismal (not much to eat - tasted badly- like a vending machine)

Very clean newer hotel. Room was right above firepit so loud gatherings at night kept u awake. Young teenagers running through the halls and yelling.Wife complained but it did no good.

The staff at Home2Jacksonville treat you like family. During our 9 day stay every staff member went above and beyond every day. The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable, and very conveniently located. Will never stay anywhere else when we are in Jacksonville, NC.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Home2 Suites!! We checked in at 2.30am but the lady was very friendly and efficient and we were in our room within minutes. The next day we bumped into the housekeeper who was cleaning the room opposite. She apologised incase she had been too noisy (she hadn't!) and spent a few minutes chatting with us. Every […] member of staff we met was really friendly and helpful! The room itself was very large with 2 extremely comfortable queen beds and a sofa bed (so you could sleep 6!) and was equipped with microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine (with sachets of coffee!) cups, glasses etc. There is a "proper" hairdryer provided and a desk and free wi-fi!! Handsoap, showergel and shampoo are also provided. In the lobby you can buy frozen meals, snacks, drinks, toothpaste etc. The blackout blind is very efficient too! There is a patio area to the rear of the building where a bbq can be used by guests. All in all we felt that, although we were only there for 2 nights, it was really well thought out to cover the needs of guests who planned an extended stay! It is also well within walking distance of numerous restaurants/fast food outlets etc. The only reason I marked it down for surrounding neighborhood is that you do feel slightly like you are at the back of a retail/industrial park! I have never stayed in a hotel, much less one charging $154 nightly where full maid service was not offered. "Light touch" was not made known to me nor is it sufficient at these rates. I won't stay in another Hilton unless I first learn if full maid service is a part of the stay.

I gave an overall rating of 4 because the breakfast was very disappointing. We were led to believe by hotels.com that the breakfasts were very good here. All that was offered was cereal, bagels, apples or bananas, and a small 1" diameter microwavable breakfast sandwich.

It was comfortable. Like a mini apartment. Only suggestion is for cushions on couch to support back for short-legged people. Hard to support back when sitting. Bed pillows were too soft.

My wife and I were in Jacksonville to welcome my son home from Afghanistan. The staff went out of their way to welcome you and make your stay pleasant. The rooms were great! I'd recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area.This was the best hotel I've stayed in in quite a while.

Very nice accomidations. Lobby was a bit loud ~ tile floors provide little buffer for the noise of kids, but that in no way traveled to the rooms. Everything was sparkling clean. The pool is saline instead of chlorine which was super nice. No chemical smell. Will definetly be the place we stay next time we are in town.

This was the only hotel that we could find that allowed dogs over 50 lbs. (we have a 50 lb Siberian Husky). The staff was all very friendly and treated my family and my dog with exceptional courtesy!
