We stayed at this hotel for two nights in June. The hotel is next to the train station, but we did not notice noise from traffic or trains. We were able to park the car in a secure parking garage next to the hotel for a very inexpensive fee. Though on the small side, the room was clean and cheerful. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations. There […] was some confusion with our reservation, but the English speaking staff was able to resolve the issue quickly and were helpful. Very clean and helpful staff with a restaurant and bar. Parking across the street 7 Euros per 24 hrs but ask reception if stay for three nights you only pay 11 Euros total. The location is great for the station and town center and if your visiting the Somme war cemeteries there are plenty a short drive away. Very pleased - the location was a bit dour but being at the end of a one way street meant it was quiet. The staff were polite and helpful at all times. we used the cushion as an extra pillow - it would be good of 2 pillows were provided. Being a new hotel, everything was in good condition. by far the best Campanile we stayed in on our three week trip through France And Spain Staff very helpfull and kind. food and service to a good standard but lacking in originallity of the regeion. The Capanile is a nice hotel with friendly staff..Rooms are clean and presentable and have everything one could want, including tea making facilities, hair dryer etc....Car parking facilities wer nex door in a multi story car park for a nominl 7 euros for a 24 hour stay....We had dinner one evening ther which was disappointing..didn't have breakfast. […] My only criticism would be it is about a 20 minute walk into the centre though the train station via the pedestrian walkway...which in normal circumstances would be ok, but we were there for the Raderie weekend, and it was rather a long way back to unload our antique buys and then set off again.... Booked this Campanile hotel as a last minute stop-over en route back to the Eurotunnel at Calais. Have had previous bad experiences with this hotel chain but was encouraged by the recent reviews. Happy to report that the positive reviews are justified - this is by far the best Campanile hotel we have stayed in and if this is the blueprint for how they […] plan to upgrade their chain then I am impressed and hope they role it out soon! Room was comfortable and reasonably spacious and the new style furnishings have it a very fresh and contemporary feel. Bathroom was excellent with a monsoon style walk in shower - nice! Didn't sample the food on offer as we decided to take the short walk into the centre of Amiens to see the cathedral light show - well worth a look - so can't comment on that. One word of caution - the car park adjacent to the hotel which they send you to has a height limit of 1.8m so no good if you have a high vehicle - we used the station car park around the corner which has a little more clearance but again be aware that this seems to be closed at weekends leading to a few moments of panic about getting our car out - but helpfully resolved by the attendant at the parking next to the hotel as both sites are operated by the same company. This is a brand new nicely equipped hotel of average size by European standards but considered economy size rooms by US and Australian standards. A double sized room is OK for a business traveller or short stays with hand luggage only. For longer term travellers with medium size suitcases there is no room to lay the case(s) flat. The 2 m long luggage […] bench is only about 350mm wide, just enough for a closed suitcase. The rooms are very clean, provide a kettle for tea/coffee in your room and have A/C! We parked our car in the secure car park opposite the hotel. As it was a Sunday, we only had to pay one euro when we left on Monday morning. The room is attractive. The ensuite is a wet-room and fun to use. The hotel is central. Despite its proximity to the station it is very peaceful.

Hotellet var ganske nytt og rommet var komfortabelt. Rommet vendte ut mot jernbanestasjonen, men det var ikke noe problem. Vinduene var bra lydisolerte og det var ingen togtrafikk om natten. Luften på rommet var litt tørr, ellers var alt bra på dette hotellet.

Le séjour est agréable, la chambre propre est entièrement neuf comme les couloirs et le hall. La salle de bain de même est extrêmement propre elle aussi. Le seul bémol est les quelques bruits que l'on peut entendre dans le couloir, ou de la ventilation (rien de gênant) mais audible quand même. Je recommande.
