Very close to I-35, easy to get on and off the turnpike. Staff was quick to offer directions to pharmacy, Wal-Mart, and local eateries. Indoor pool was... not large, but clean and well kept. Breakfast was good, on par with most hotel continental breakfasts. The staff working the breakfast bar were very friendly and helpful. One night stay. Just passing through. When we got to our room, there were crumbs on the sheets and hair on the toilet seat. We requested a different room which they promptly gave us with no apologies. The second room wreaked like cigarette smoke even though there was no smoking allowed. We requested a third room which the night staff promptly gave us […] but again no apology. She was not friendly, but nor was she rude. Just bland and uninterested. Our third room was fine. It is a newer hotel located in an odd area....sort of industrial area, but near freeway entrance. Our 3rd room was quiet and clean. Pretty good coffee.They have a constant fan feature which we liked (for those that like white noise this was great. No on and off noise during the night.) Very small pool. We needed a place to stay while visiting our family that was reasonably priced and close to Derby. We stayed twice for 4 and 5 nights each trip. The staff is courteous and the breakfast is good. They have hot and cold breakfast items. Will stay again when we are in the area.

We stayed at this hotel because there isn't a decent hotel in Wellington, Ks. where we were attending a class reunion. Very new and convenient to the I35 Turnpike (Haysville) entrance. I would suggest anyone staying there to get a room on the west side of the hotel to eliminate the noise from the turnpike. The noise wasn't bad and you could eliminate […] it with the constant fan on the air conditioner. The free breakfast was adequate with muffins, juices, waffles, etc. I thought the price for the hotel was a little steep, but was worth it not to have to worry about staying in a dirty hotel. Brand new hotel so everything is nice and clean! The staff was friendly and the coffee was hot and available at 6:30 as they stated. I was very happy with the room -- the bed was comfortable!!!!
