"Decent place for the price"
We chose this hotel because it was close to the hub of Tokyo without costing us an arm and a leg. This was closer to a weekly apartment rental than a hotel, which worked for us since all we needed was a place to shower and sleep, and we didn't need someone cleaning up after us daily. The hotel staff was super nice! (Their hours are limited, so be sure to check in with them between their working hours--it was difficult for us since we left early in the morning and returned only to sleep.) The room was dated, but clean. The beds were not very comfortable, but we made do. There are free laundry facilities that can be used during business hours as to keep noise down while people are sleeping. The room was spacious, and we had two beds, a sink, microwave, fridge, clothes rack, and a small bathroom/shower/sink. There were several subway stations all about a 10-15 minute walk away. Many restaurants don't open until 11am, so we never tried any of the restaurants in the area. Hotel management gave us a map with transportation, markets and shopping areas all within walking distance--by walking distance I mean a half mile to mile away. For the value, this place was worth the stay. Again, the hotel staff was really nice and helpful.

"Cheap, good location, bad everything else"
If you just need a place a crash for really cheap, this will work.. but it smells really bad, the beds aren't clean, the staff weren't friendly at all, the dryer didn't work... The room was tiny!! No shelf, no place to put clothes, no space to unpack anything, really bad smell!!!

"Beautidormitory style hotel overseeing Sumidagawa"
Location, it's one mile east of centralized Tokyo, and subway connection to everywhere in Japan down the street , Stores and restaurants a short walk away, TCAT it's just across the river, Staff is professional and attentive like everywhere in Tokyo, Koban, helpful police station four houses away, beautiful memorable window view, moderate size room for one person or couple. Great experience would do it again and reccommend it.

"Kurumi Home Sweet Home"
I recommend this serviced apartment. The host is a very thoughtful and kind man who is interested in helping guests. He can tell you how to do things in the cheapest way saving you money. These are small typical Japanese apartments. Free washer, drier, and laundry soap. Western bed but Japanese like hard matresses with springs! I had a lovely stay. Facilities are dated but clean and serviceable. I loved having fridge, microwave and hotplate in room. Great free WiFi. Building has elevator but if you book lovely Riverview there will be 1flightof stairs to climb. Good aircon and windows open for fresh air. Remember walls in Japan transmit noise so be considerate with using very soft voice level. Very close 15 min walk to many subway lines. Wonderful residential streets to stroll on with little traffic. Neighborhood restaurants and shops abound. Kurumi your home away from home!

"Amazing Place To Stay"
My first trip to Japan was awesome thanks to Kurumi Weekly Mansion. Staff was kind to us, had what we needed, our own bathroom, TV, AC, even free washroom(was able to wash my clothes). Overall, it was a great experience. I recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for those coming to Japan for the first time.

About 10-minute walk from the nearest subway. Clean and spacious. Free laundry. Shower was a little small, but that's all of Tokyo. Only downside: not many places to eat in the immediate vicinity, but a 10-minute walk solved everything.

"Awesome, would (will!) stay again"
No, this is not a luxury apartment, but it has everything you need, especially if you're stay in Tokyo for awhile and you're, you know, out sightseeing all day. It is small, but comfortable. The internet is free, and there are washers, dryers, and detergent that you can use for free as well. There is a nice little kitchen area for you to make meals if you want, and while it takes a moment or two for the heater to turn on, it works well. The view is very nice for the price you pay, especially if your room is facing the river (the sunlight was great, and so was watching the boats go by). The location is very convenient, in my opinion. I was able to get to Akihabara, Ueno, and Asakusa very quickly (<10 min.) Odaiba took only about 15 min. Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro will take you 20 - 30 min. depending on the route. Learn which station to go to in order to make your travel across the city cheaper/faster. There are three stations within a 10 min. walk. Sometimes I would walk to/from Tokyo Station (~30 min.) The neighborhood is quiet, and there are lots of places to eat if you don't feel like going too far for food. There is a nice little bento shop across the street, and a convenience store down the street. When I return to Tokyo, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Nice Charming Studio Apartment hotel room"
I arrived at TCAT the directions from the website lead me right to the hotel. It was a easy walk about 10 mins. Check in is located on the 4th floor. The check in was quick and easy. After the guy gave me a tour. There is free washing and drying. He even took the time to explain to me how to use it. He took me up to my room and told me how everything works. I was in a 2 twin bed room. The bathroom had a shower and tube sink and western toilet. The room is big. It was a desk, table with seating area. A heater/air cond. It also features a kitchenette complete with microwave, hotplate, hot water kettle, mini fridge, sink and dishes to cook with. The room also had a large sliding door to a patio in the morning it gave great natural light. Wifi is also free. A clothes rack and trash can. there was enough dishwashing soap and toilet to last me for a week. When i come back to Tokyo i will stay here over and over again. the office close at 5 but they will email you your room number and you check in the next morning. Its also very close to Tokyo Disneyland a 13 minute walk to the train station and if you catch an express tran its only 2 stops away

"Perfect"
Having lived in Japan, this weekly mansion met and exceeded what I expect from a Japanese apartment. My room included the basics: bed (with sheets and blankets) restroom, desk, clothing rack, refrigerator, microwave, IH stove, kettle, kitchen sink and utensils for cooking. Wired and wireless Internet is included. There's also a shared laundry room with washing machines and dryers. Note: Vacuum cleaners are also available for cleaning. Travelers need to make their own beds and clean their room if necessary (like living in an apartment without cleaning services). For grocery shopping, there is a convenience store located half a block from the apartment (about 2-3 minute walk). For those who don't mind venturing by foot for 10-15 minutes, there are 4 supermarkets in the area. Transportation by subway is just a 10-15 minute walk away with the following stations: 1. Kayabacho (Tozai and Hibiya Line [Great for those who want to go to Ginza or Akihabara]) 2. Monzennakacho (Tozai Line) 3. Suitengumae (Hanzomon Line) Finally, for those who like a morning jog, this apartment is perfect as the Sumidagawa Terrace is situated right behind it. A loop from Eitaibashi to Shin-Ohashi is about 4 kilometers. The Tokyo Sky Tree is also in view.

"Good place."
The nearest subway station is Suitengumae, about 10 minutes walk. But there are more restaurants near the other nearby subway station, Monzennakacho. Owner/Manager very friendly, and good English. He personally installed free Wi-Fi connector. The room with the river view is fantastic, and you could not get more relaxing view at 4 times the price. The room is a converted "one-ki" apartment, but is functional. This place would be ideal for long-term stays of one week or more, as they have weekly and monthly rates.

it just locates beside river which make the view really beautiful. besides the convenience of several subway stations and direct bus to Tokyo station is much important if you really want to visit Tokyo. further more the price of a week may not exceed more than two night in other hotels. after you get off Shinkansen by Tokyo station get west port you will find the two local bus stops across the street where you can get the local bus to your hotel and get off by Sada 1 station. enjoy morning running along the river. buy a ride on ferry and enjoy the view of several connecting rivers.

"Great hotel for budget travelers."
Overall, I thought this was a great hotel for budget travelers. Its actually more of an apartment complex that you rent. Not much is provided here except mainly a place to sleep. There is no room service here and very minimal accommodation. Bring your own towel, soap, toothbrush (and toothpaste). There are however some important things, like free internet (you do need your own device), a fridge, a microwave, a TV (but its all in Japanese). The most important aspect here is the hotel owner. A true gentleman who speaks great English and will recommend great things for you to see or do if you ask.

Not much was right next to hotel and all the normal transportation is really far away. Not the best place for people who can't walk much. "Friendly staff, good stay for the price"
Don't expect a hotel when staying at Kurumi Mansion. As long as that is fine this is the place for you. They provide the basic requirements like ensuite bathroom (note: no shampoo/soap but they provide sufficient toilet paper) and a mini kitchen (microwave oven, sink, mini induction cooker & water boiler). The bed is simplistic and basic: a spring bed that wasn't the comfiest but still manageable. Washing machines/dryers are free to use with provision of free detergent. If you need to change the bedsheets they're available for yourself to DIY and you can access the common broom/vacuum to clean up your room. I had an enjoyable stay there and will certainly be back again. The location is relatively convenient. There are some metro stations within walking distance, JR stations are a little further. The staff speak good English and are very helpful and understanding :)

"Great Stay"
Me and my partner stayed here for five nights on our trip to Tokyo. When we arrived Sasano San was ready to check us in, He spent a good ten minutes going through everything about the room, the location of the hotel and general advice on what to do, which was really nice. The room itself was fine. Yes the bathroom is small compared to western countries but its completely suitable and was very clean. The room was of a good size so we could unpack our things and not feel cramped. The WiFi was good and the air conditioning worked fine. There is also free laundry which I have never seen ever so that is awesome. The location of the hotel is excellent really. You are in a 10 minute walking distance to three subway stations all on different lines which makes things very easy. Shops and restaurants are open late around the area as well. We could not of asked better for the price we paid. Mr Sasano San also let us stay until 4pm on our check out day as we had a night flight. This made everything so much easier and we really appreciated that. Thank you very much :)

"DISAPPOINTED"
I had read all the reviews of this establishment, all seemed good so I booked expecting the same. Boy was I wrong the room small I was expecting that but bathroom was so squeezy the door should of been taken off giving a bit more room it was after all a single room. The bed so hard 20 Sumo wrestlers could of jumped on it and never make a dint. I asked for a clean towel when mine became dirty the response "this is not a Hotel" I know that but sheets pillow cases and bath mats readily available as song as I did not take too many. If I wanted a clean towel I would have to wash it, no one told me this. Another thing tours as long as you go to another Hotel a return taxi fare of A$20.00 so makes tours more expensive than already. I asked him to arrange a workshop for me he threw away paper and said too expensive, really I was the one paying for it. I tried to clean floor of room with vacumn cleaner which left it dustier than before, really should clean the vacumn cleaner. I do not like to give bad reports but after all the 11 really long days I did not enjoy my stay here and would not reccomend it.
