Not much to fault and a lot to commend. The only downsides were: 1. the microwave wouldn't heat up food, despite 3 members of staff pouring over the instructions, 2. the microwave instructions were printed on the reverse side of the dishwasher instuctions attached to a pinboard - not easy to find 3. the wifi was so slow as to be useless, took 15 minutes […] to download london tube ipad app (they want you to buy their advanced wifi pack) 4. gym has very limited equipment, had to wait a half hour for treadmill to become available - fantastic view of Olympic Park while I was waiting tho'. Otherwise clean, quiet, comfortable, cosy, excellent communal facilities, brilliant location for transport, shopping, site seeing. Read more

The experience was ok. The biggest plus is the location. Steps from the tube. Shops and restaurants outside your door. Fairly quiet... on the nights the fire alarm wasn't getting pulled.

Hotel is great, right next to a mall with plenty of shops and restaurants. Great rooms, comfy beds, strong wifi, all you could ask for (even the free breakfast was decent). that said, getting to central london can soak up free time. It can take 10-15 minutes walking thru the mall to get to the tube station and up to the platform, and then another 20 […] minutes before you get to Holborn station (where you'll probably be making your train change). This is a great hotel. During my trip to the UK I stayed in a nice hotel at first (Park Plaza Riverbank London) but when I came back a week later I wanted to save a few GBP so I booked this hotel instead thanks to good reviews on TripAdvisor. Here are the important items to note - 1. the hotel itself is in the westfield stratford city mall. Not inside […] the mall, mind you, but outside in a building that is also shared by a Holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn takes up some of the floors and the Staybridge takes up the top floors. You will take a taxi, tube, DLR or what-have-you to the Stratford station, and then you can take the lift up to where the storefronts are, then make your way to the place. 2. now through the end of the olympics, there is no parking here so if you are renting a car you are better off going somewhere else for the duration. 3. this is a great place for first-time visitors to london, because the westfield is so well-equipped. there is an M&S department store with a grocery, so you can use your hot plate and combo microwave/roaster/grill oven in your room. 4. The hotel is well-equipped with technology - free wifi for all, and you can pay extra to increase your bandwidth in case you need video conferencing or something like that. I didn't need that, but it was nice to know. 5. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. The free breakfast buffet was excellent as well. The only problem was u had to walk a couple blocks to park and it was expensive. This was due to the Olympics parking was reduced difficult to find the hotel. Breakfast was great and free

Brand new hotel overlooking the Olympic Stadium. Lower 8 floors contain a Holiday Inn, while the top 4 floors contain the Staybridge Suites. Ready access to London via tube and national rail service. The station adjacent to the hotel which is connected to the new Westfield mall. Service was great. Spent a week in the hotel and everyone was super friendly. […] As it is located in East London, it's not close to Heathrow, Gatwick or Luton airports, but all are accessible by train. Realistically, each is a 90 minute trip (includes waiting and transfers). It is very close to London City Airport, and a 60 minute bus or train ride from Stanstead airport. Also co-located with international rail service to Belgium and Paris. It does contain a patio with a great view on the 12 floor, and a lounge area for breakfast and socializing. Read more

From start to finish our stay was a real luxury. We were on a night away as a couple also going to visit friends the next day in the Bow area. We could not have got a better location with absolutely everything you could ever need on your doorstep. I wish we had been staying for longer to make real use of the amenities...as a result, we plan on making […] another visit for longer next time and really making the most of it. The only thing we could find on the downside was the lack of teabags...we needed more than two after a long day. Taking the express lift up to the top floor where the reception is situated, we were greeted by happy smiling receptionists who not only processed you, but also made you feel welcome. Our room overlooked the the Olympic Park and had a comfortable king size bed, shower bathroom, flat screen TV and small kitchenette with all the essentials (Hob, Microwave, […] Sink, Etc.). Breakfast the next morning was unexpectedly good, lots of choice and tasty with a vast range of cereals, fruit, bread, juices and yogurts. The cooked Breakfast only consisted of Scrambled Eggs, Tomatoes, Bacon and Sausage, but all of it was well cooked and delicious. Only one negative, parking where instructed in the Westfield Shopping Centre, meant that we had to find a space near the lifts (not easy) take the cases up the lift and out into the shopping area and walk 60 metres in the rain to reach the hotel entrance. Stayed a few times now. Now that established, fewer options via Hotels.com The only 2 complaints are A-Noise from Casino which is very annoying and B- Breakfasts not hot enough. Warm beans are sickly! Overcooked bacon/sausage, half cold, is not good. Was better first few times.

Nice clean rooms and good location! Actually 2-3 minutes walk to a fast train or 2 underground stops. The hotels looks new, the breakfast is good. Among shortcomings: phone was disconnected in the room (no way to call the reception), the cleaning lady was opening the door every hour from 7am in the morning on the check out date.

Hotel is in a fantastic location, both for shopping within Westfields and also to get into central London (about 20 mins on tube). There is a sign as you enter the hotel "welcome back home" it really is like a home away from home and will certainly be back. Breakfast is substantial and there is something for everyone, you can even take it away. Great variety of resturants all in easy walking distance, would not have this choise in any one location in central London.

This hotel ha\d only been open a few weeks when we stayed there and the room rate that we paid was unbelieveble. I am sure that it will go up as occupancy rates improve. Regardless of the rate though, this is a really top notch hotel in a great location if you do not want to pay central London prices (which I don't). I'll take a 15 minute tube journey […] to stay somewhere like this. The room was totally faultless and the hotel facilities were spot on. The buffet breakfast is very good indeed and the free coffee and tea all day is great. And what views from the 12th floor - just excellent.
