The service and the staff at the hotel were very helpful. We first were given a twin room which was very small and by the third day we got a bigger room. The beds are very good and we had a good nights rest the full 8 days we were there. The pool was dirty and the sauna was not working. Also our room was not cleaned before 2.00 pm. and most of the time we never got enough towels. Otherwise we found the hotel very accomedating and helpful . The breakfast was very good and the hotel was located near the center of town with the lovely "Company Garden" right across and below Table Mountain. - We would stay there again.

The hotel location is great, just beside the sea front. The view from the hotel room and restaurant is really fantastic. Overall maintenance of the hotel was not good though, especially the elevator which was small and slow.

My wife, 7 month old daughter and I stayed at the Inn at Castle Hill for one night on our travels up the Garden Route of South Africa. The inn is located... in a picturesque town on the coast, and sits about 250 meters from the coast. Our room was quite spacious and opened onto a gorgeous wrap around victorian style balcony. This made the morning views of the sunrise absolutely stunning!!! There were only two downsides to this place. 1. our room did not have an en suite bathroom. Thought private, it was located down the hall (which was slightly annoying) 2. there was no television in our room. But maybe that's on purpose? Being without television for one night was actually quite relaxing. Unfortunately for me, it was the same night as a major football match :-( Overall, the staff is great, and the Inn at Castle Hill is a great little get away from the business of Cape Town... by Tay from Nashville, Tennessee on 04/28/13

Only stayed one night here and it was a very pleasant place to stay. Nice location near down town, easy to find and friendly helpful staff. A few downsides - the bathrooms are shared or located well down the hall from the room and they charge a fee for wi-fi (which is standard in SA - but none the less annoying). the hotel was hard to find using GPS, up on steep hill, parking was on the road which was limited and ok if you are ace at hill starts.... the staff were great. The room was nice but the bed was uncomfortable. Had to hire adaptors for plug sockets, Kalk bay its self was lovely, with loads of lovely resturantes, Had the best pasta ever in Oylmpia..... The place was a good stay located in a great area with easy walk to restaurants and cafes along the main strip. It was quiet and cozy. The only thing I didn't like was that my mattress was not very cozy and firm. Otherwise, it was a great stay in a wonderful town!
