I am a return guest to the Estherea. The hotel is quite enjoyable. One can tell that it is a labor of love on the part of the owner and staff. Some visitors from abroad my find the room size cramped but this is, in my opinion, more of an issue with European hotels and less with the Estherea. The Estherea is in a great location, it is beautifully decorated, the service is excellent and the staff is friendly and professional. I recommend it highly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! My only suggestion would be to give more detailed instructions on how to arrive from the airport to the hotel. It is not included in the hotel shuttles and we had a hard time finding out how to take the public transportation. Ended up taking a taxi which cost €40. But it is worth the trouble. Very nice hotel and includes a nice breakfast. We would definitely stay again if visiting Amsterdam.

Only stayed here 1 night - it was convenient and cheaper than the airport hotels for an overnight. Right acrosss the street from the central train station (5 minutes walk), 4.40 Euro and <30 minutes to the airport, lots of restauraunts in the area and plenty of shops - conevnient for luggage as well! Free wifi new TV's. Would stay here again.

This hotel is good value for the money. The room was big, clean and we had a great view of the canal. The hotel is very close to tram stations, restaurants and super markets. We would definitely consider this hotel again.

Our stay was fine as we were accommodated in the garden house. We never ate or drank in the hotel so we annoy comment. The location is a short ways from the flower market but certainly within walking distance. There is more of a local feel to the neighborhood, we experienced local fare and culture.

I very much liked the hotel and would definitely go back. It is situated right along the canal. We got a canal facing room. It was quite beautiful. It is about 10 mins walk from Museumplein. It is also very well connected by trams. The tram station is just about a 5 mins walk away. It is close enough to walk to the party places and yet is in a quiet […] neighborhood, so it was not too noisy at night. There was free wi-fi in the rooms. The room was clean and comfortable but tiny, though for just spending the night it really is not bothersome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Since mine was an impromtu trip I had forgotten to take my contact lens case. The hotel staff was very understanding and found me two small glasses that I could use. I also did not have my iphone charger with me and the hotel staff promptly helped me with spare iphone chargers and adapters they kept for such circumstances. Overall I was very happy with the accomodation, service and location and would recommend it in a heartbeat. Read more

This was the perfect location to bop around Amsterdam in. They gave me a map and directions when I asked. The only time I took the tram was to and from the airport with my bags. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I was able to safely leave my bags after I checked out so I could kick around town a bit before leaving. As a smoker, I would have liked a little cover from the rain on the patio area. Wouldn't have minded a mini-bar but then, I didn't really need one with any conveniences close by. Was all good. only issue was the lift shaft first thing in the morning, as people started to go down for breakfast, our room was next to the lift shaft and we could hear it everytime it was used in the morning.

I stayed for 6 Nights in May 2013. My singleroom was on the fifth floor overlooking the chanal, rooftops and houses. A tiny room, but there were all I needed. Very nice ! I'll book that room the next time. The hotel is in a quiet street - but still central, so it's good to come "home" and relax after a busy day out everywhere in the city. The room was […] clean and comfortable. Staff was very polite and helpful. Trams are stopping close by, so easy accces to all. Rembrantplein and the Flower marked are very close. Wir haben ein Standardzimmer gebucht. Als wir um 11:00 Uhr ankamen, wurde uns gesagt, dass wir um 13:00 Uhr in das Zimmer können, da es noch nicht fertig war. Als wir dann am Abend in das Zimmer gingen, […] war dort ein ganz schlechter Geruch, und das obwohl der Zimmerservice die Fenster weit geöffnet hatte (die Fenster standen schon bei Betreten des Zimmers weit offen). Als wir um ein neues Zimmer gebeten hatten, haben wir ein Zimmer im Keller bekommen. In diesem war nicht einmal das Fenster zu öffnen. Went to the Amsterdam with my girlfriend for a weekend and stayed at Prinsengeracht. Good location in a quite area near a canal, but with walking distance to the major attractions. Our room was newly refurbished and clean.

Das Hotel liegt an der Prinzengracht und ist relativ Nahe am Zentrum. Zur Stassenbahn muss man etwa 700 m gehen. Es ist sauber und das Frühstück ist gut. Ich kann das Hotel weiter empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Service gut. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet und haben einen schönen Ausblick.
