Really disappointed. Everytime water seemed to be run in any of the rooms the boiler in mine started thudding erratically. The room was clean but really needed decorating there were damp patches on the ceiling and flaking paint work. This Hotel is very well situated. Its rooms above a pub and you have to go thru the pub to get to the room. The pub is nice and I was offered a welcome drink on arrival. The room was quant but small with some weird noises thru the night which kept me awake. I think it was from was from the water system.

Very nice place. It is not really a hotel as such, but rooms above a pub in one of the best areas in London. The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere great and the rooms are comfortable and very cosy with a very nice and stylish decor. We could have stayed in our room all the time! The small balconies are the icing on the cake,- it's great to sit […] and watch life on the street with a glass of wine. We will definetely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Read more

There was a very noisy water pump in the room that kept us awake all night. There was nobody on site all night or in the morning so I wrote to them. They did not reply. The room was also nothing like the one in the photo; no balcony etc.

The room is above a pub - which is not clear anywhere on the site. This is not really a hotel, just guest rooms above a pub. This should have been clearer on the website as the venue did not meet our expectation of 'Boutique Hotel'. However, the room was very well furnished and comfortable and we were not disturbed by the pub noise (we stayed a Monday […] and Tuesday). We were very disturbed by bottle clearing at around 1am and the very noisy high street. So overall we were disappointed. Read more

Hamstead High Street is full of great restaurants and shops and a very short walk to the tube station. It's a busy, noisy street, so only stay here if you can sleep through car noise. After arriving to less than a friendly greeting from the bar staff downstairs who apparently didn't know which room I was staying in, I wastaken straight upstairs to the "Elizabeth" room. Having simply opened the door and the keys left on the bed I was told well this is the room and the toilet us through there and went to leave. When I asked if there […] was wifi available he simply replied yes but the password is downstairs so you'll have to come back down. As for whether there were any other facilities or amenities to the place, I have no idea so cannot comment. With regard to the actual room - this was pleasantly decorated and clean, albeit very small. The biggest disappointment of all with regard to my stay would have to be the noise - the walls and doors seem to be paper thin and I could hear the adjoining room who were chatting and moving around until 1am ish, only to be then woken at 4.30 am by the road sweeper outside. Overall a very disappointing stay with poor customer service and a noisy and rather too small room. I think it is not really appropriate to term this a boutique hotel but rather just a pub with rooms above. Read more

the finish to the room is amateur, protruding screws and nails were painted over, most painted areas are unsanded and not finished, others have holes not filled at all. the wallpaper goes in opposite directions on different walls, had a rip in it and was loose in another area. The parquet floor had pieces missing and the skirtings were unsanded and […] did not have a good finish. The kettle was too big to fit under the only tap , I had to use the shower to fill the kettle, there is no power next to the tea facilities ,I had to move a wardrobe to plug the kettle into the only power socket in the room. The television was no bigger than a laptop and suffered constantly from connection problems I am certain this room does not meet fire safety regulations, there was no door closer, the main door was a cheap door and not fire rated at all. The door lock did not work and we had to dead lock the door while we were in the room, there was no escape route or evacuation plan in the room and no smoke alarm or sprinkler. In many instances the wrong size screws were used and this resulted in poor fitting door locks , the screw covers on the towel rail could not fit properly The room appeared to have been put together in a weekend by someone with little experience and no attention to detail. There is no guest control over the heating, the room is heated by central heating that did not operate during our stay. overall this room needs and independent check especially for the fire concerns. Ein totales Erlebnis. Die Zimmer gehören zum Pub. Man ist erst etwas verwundert, ob man so gut übernachten kann, aber das sehr freundliche Personal und die Lage machen alles wieder gut. Wer sich in London ein wenig auskennt und weiß wie schön Hampstead ist und freut sich mitten drin zu sein und das Angebot drumherum auskosten zu können. Muito boa a estadia. Escolhi este hotel por conveniencia de proximidade dos compromissos que teria nesta viagem, e fiquei meio preocupado pelo fato de ser 'dentro' de um pub. Surpresa! Nenhum ruído chega ao primeiro andar, onde fiquei. Ao chegar recebi as chaves (da porta principal e do meu quarto) e a atendente muito solícita levou minha mala (o hotel […] não tem elevador) até o quarto. Decoração de bom gosto, equipamentos em perfeito estado, ótima roupa de cama. Bom espaço para os padrões londrinos, apesar do banheiro ser bem pequeno, mas com tudo novo e de boa qualidade. A vizinhança é ótima, com cafés, restaurantes, uma ótima livraria, lojas de moda e bancos. A 100 metros da estação do metro Hampstead (northern line). Recomendo e volto se necessitar. Read more

Sono delle stanze sopra un pub, molto rumoroso, senza reception, senza struttura alberghiera, non si vede dalla strada, non ci sono insegne, non c'è internet, per trovarlo, ho camminato per 20 minuti sotto la pioggia poi sono entrato nel pub e mi hanno portato su nella stanza! Vergognoso per il costo così elevato! Non ci tornerò mai più!
