Room was small. No bath tub just shower. TV was a first edition 17" iMac with a TV converter. Served a purpose as an over night stay but would consider elsewhere for a longer stay. Breakfast was OK. Not much different from a nice Premier Inn only double the cost. Hotel was clean.

This hotel was in a perfect location right at a bus stop. The room was a bit small for American standards (no place to do yoga) but it was comfy. I stayed for a week and the staff was always cleaning the building. It was such a nice environment! The food was really good and the chef was always around.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days while visiting friends and family and were very pleased. The "hotel" is a brand new apartment complex with a small reception just inside the entrance. Rooms were big, bright and well appointed. Location is fantastic, right next to the Arndale Centre. The only complaint about the entire place was that the sofa-bed wasn't the comfiest. Will definitely stay here again!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms a bit small but clean and highly functional. Big bonus is access to excellent gym next door. Can be busy near the holiday season as they have a lot of holiday/office parties, but the noise level from the revellers has not been too bad!

Was just fine for an overnight stay, they are carying out renovations and addition of more room & obviously this impacts on the premises and rooms, mine... I think was just in the last stages of completion with bare walls and the pictures stashed by the side of the wardrobe possibly ready for hanging.Overall though I would stay here again although at the price I paid without breakfast (not avalable) then I would say it was on the top side of what I would expect to pay at a Pub B & B. by Andy from Cheshire on 04/24/13

A clean, basic room above a friendly pub. Don't believe the signs outside about breakfast or availability of evening meals but it is close to the town centre, opposite the bus station and a short walk from the train station. TV but no reception! Free WiFi but doesn't work in the rooms. Cheap, clean and cheerful but quiet it is not.

Excellent and warm welcome on arrival. The pub is set just out of the town but close to local supermarket and food outlets. I have used it several times and won't hesitate to use it again. Good local beers available and a comfortable room. No breakfast but if your out early like me, that's not a problem.

Overall the stay was fine but the wifi did not work properly. It would connect locally but not to the internet and then kept dropping the connection.

rooms very cheaply done full of second hand furniture, stained bed linen too.. they have got the cheek to display a banner at the front of the building advertising 'luxury' rooms.. handy parking at the back and only a couple of mins walk from city centre.

the road leading up to this hotel was blocked so had to get to it another way but in no way was that the hotel fault when I got their very friendly nice clean room and after a long trip the shower was great and the tai food restaurant food was lovely
