Everything was good in the hotel, staff were friendly and polite but they did not have upto date info about bus passesetc in public transport. I updated them about bus pass for connexion buses. The Wi fi was weak in the room upstairs

The Apple Inn is one of the oldest places around in Amsterdam and has a good reputation for being a really good basic hotel. Having stayed for the first time, I found it basic but very comfortable. The beds were great, good pressure on the water and the people working there were nice. My only remark would be that it was odd that they insisted that I confirm breakfast the night before rather than letting me decide what I want to do, so I skipped breakfast instead. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and I will certainly consider staying again.

Hotel was a good spot for your money. Right in the middle of the Museum/Fashion Districts, but a good 15-20 minutes walk to the center of Amsterdam. Hotel appears to be a hostel/hotel, but the rooms are nice, clean and breakfast is only €5. Only real complaint is that the employees working behind the desk were extremely rude while we were checking out. Asking them how frequent the trains to the airport are and if we could get the luggage room key to put our bags in, was like asking them to run a marathon.

Ideal hotel location for all central sights of Amsterdam. Quiet side street only 3 minutes walk from Dam Square. Excellent choice and quality of food at breakfast.

We stayed at NH Muesum quarter for the first time and already we are planning a return trip. The staff are very efficient and very friendly.. Our room was on the 5th floor and overlooked the canal giviing us a great view of the city. Great breakfast too! Thre was a littel traffic noise but not enough to disturb us. The hotel sent us directions from the airport which worked well. We caught the 197 bus from the airprt and we were dropped off almost at the corner of the street...very cheap too..only 4 euro each which is a big saving on taxi fares. A great find.

Personally, I am very satisfied staying at this hotel. When I first came, it is just a house. So I thought it will be alright since I just want to have a night over. But surprisingly when I enter the room rented for me, my first impression is its just not the ordinary room but its kinda 4 star hotel room.
