"Good hotel, but no gym!" Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013

The staff was great, the location is great for a business person coming from the airport. The train is right across the street, and the main train station and buses and metro are right nextdoor too. BUT it is a cab (or metro or bus) ride from the historic area so be advised. Also, there is no gym/exercise room. And when it's cold in Lyon or snowing, your only choice is to eat :). It's in a very commercial area so there don't seem to be fine real French restaurants around. So the bottom line is, good for a business person with appointments close by. Not quite so good for tourists.

Nice hotel, centrally located, close to Metro stop. Booked a superior room and as is typical throughout many hotels in the EU, it was tiny. Had to go outside to change our minds. Barely enough room to walk around the double bed. Std. room' must be a sardine can. No soundproofing issues, fairly quiet. Front desk staff was exceptional and friendly. Plenty of pizza joints within a block or 2, which came in handy when we arrived late. Would stay here again.

We stayed 2 days and enjoyed very much. The main purpose of our trip was to visit Lyon. Bus is very close to the hotel and runsg until midnight. Buy the day pass in the bus which will give you access to bus, tram, metro, and funiculair until the end of the day - we usue it non stop. The hotel was very quiet. We did not try the restaurant but seems very […] busy which is a good sign. The hotelmis not more than 3 years old and it is very modern. Read more

Déjà plusieurs séjours effectués dans cette hôtel et toujours les mêmes commentaires : hôtel très bien et que je recommande. Par contre, problème de parking car celui ne l’hôtel n'a pas assez de place et s'il y a beaucoup de monde au petit déjeuner, les tables ne sont pas débarrassées et le buffet tarde à être regarnis. Nous avons passé une excellente nuit dans cet hôtel dont la décoration à été refaite à neuf récemment. Proche de la halle Tony Garnier ou nous allions voir un spectacle...l'hôtel est idéalement situé et pour un prix très raisonnable. Un point négatif le quartier un peu limite mais bon il y avait un parking fermé
