Overall is was ok. Still Water does not offer room service or maid service. If you want new towels, you have to exchange them at a different building. And you have to clean the room before you leave to avoid an additional charge. Since nothing is done for you, it's more like a furnished apartment than a hotel. As far as the condition of the place is concerned, it was great other than the mattress. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. I mean no offense to Still Water by saying these things, I'm just being honest. If you don't mind doing things yourself when you're on vacation, then this place would perfect for you. However, I'll probably be staying at an actual hotel during my next trip to Branson.

It was an overall good experience. The only reason I'm not rating it a 5 is because we were told that due to an overbooking of our room, we were being upgraded to a better room. Only to find out once we arrive we had been downgraded back down with no call about it. It would have been fine if they would've never told us we were being upgraded in the first place.

Situated on the property for your convenience is the Outback Steak and Oyster Bar. Inside you can eat, drink and be merry, relishing our authentic Australian cuisine, selecting from a menu of thick steaks, grilled snapper, lamb chops, grilled chicken and seafood, alligator tail, and thirst quenching drinks. Dine indoors or outside on our enclosed veranda. Open daily, 11am to 10pm weekdays and 11am to 11pm on weekends.

To add to our already wonderful atmosphere, the Outback Steak and Oyster Bar will be offering live music Thursday through Sunday. The music offered in the restaurant will be between the hours of 6pm and 9pm.

Things to do

Also located on property is the Outback Pub. The Outback Pub is a "laid back" environment which offers live entertainment, billiards, and NTN trivia. Wonderful for after-hours entertainment, our atmosphere-rich pub offers unique appetizers, sandwiches and over 100 beers and beverages. Open daily, 11:00am to 1:00am.

The Outback Pub also offers live nightly entertainment. The Outback Pub will have bands both upstairs on the outdoor deck and downstairs in the lounge from 9pm to 1am.

Recreation

Branson is known for it's beautiful lakes, mountains, and valleys. Enjoy boating, fishing, swimming on one of three area lakes: Table Rock Lake, Lake Taneycomo, and Bull Shoals Lake.

Th real appeal for many visitors vacationing in Ozark Mountain Country are the fantastic roads. These byways and highways twist through breathtaking rural scenes and small towns making an afternoon car cruise or motorcycle ride into an amazing day in the Ozarks. Motorcyclist have proclaimed this area to be some of the best riding in the nation.

The Outback Branson Complex is the Home of the Annual Branson Motorcycle Rally Held May 31st through June 3rd, 2012.

It was fair. The location is not good for the hotel. The look inside could be updated. The front door had major gaps from the door to floor. If you don't pay more than $40 a night you need to stay here

Except for the fact that extremely loud bands played in the Outback Pub every night until all hours thus preventing any peace and quiet (ie sleep) , the Outback Roadhouse was OK. If you want to get to sleep before the wee hours of the morning, forget this place.

Room was clean and comfortable, towels were soft, room was good-sized. Cleaning staff was friendly and efficient; all staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel was behind their restaurant, so far enough away from the road to be quiet, but you pull out of their drive right onto the main strip in town. Bed was comfortable. Heating/Cooling unit was very […] new. Only downside was the walls were thin, and since all the doors opened to the outside, and the walkway was wood, you could hear anyone walking past as if they were stomping. I never heard anyone else in any other room though. There was an outdoor pool, and outdoor (but covered) hottub, and a sauna attached to a covered picnic/bbq area that we never had time to try out, but they all looked clean and well-kept. The bbq area had two large gas grills for the hotel patrons use. This whole area was on the backside of the hotel, so even outside you couldn't hear, much less see, the roadway. Or almost anyone else either. The view out the back of the hotel, from the walkway or upper windows was of un-developed wooded hills - very beautiful and peaceful. The free breakfast was pretty good with hot tea, coffee, milk, juice, cereal (4 types), fresh fruit, instant oatmeal, donuts, bagels, biscuits, sausage gravy, & scrambled eggs to choose from. The only issue we had was the toilet needed work, and the maintenance guy just handed the plunger to my husband, in a bag, and left. We figured he would help with the issue. We got a free stay when we discussed it at checkout. It was very relaxing to be there!!!!! Thank you!!

There were a number of things that were bad. I am 6' tall, and the showerhead was at the bottom of my chin, which made it very difficult to shower. The towels were coarse enough that they could have been used to scour the paint off the cinderblock walls. The desk / table is okay, but if you are planning on sitting there and typing on a laptop, plan […] on unplugging the heater / air conditioner while you do so. There is no arguing that this is a low-cost, no-frills place to stay, however the room was clean, the facility was relatively well kept, and the location was excellent. This is a great option for someone traveling on a budget. The room was outdated and didn't have a flat pannel TV. There weren't enough outlets to plug in our electronics. You think in this electronic age, they'd provide outlets for computers, chargers, etc. The pillows were flat; good thing we brought our own and the fitted sheet would not stay on the mattress. We also found an empty condom wrapper behind […] the night stand...that was a bit unsettling. The toilet was also loose so when you sat down, it wobbled. But, other than the condom wrapper, the room was clean and neat and for the cost, it was worth it. I thought it was excellent except it was below freezing outside, and it took the room a long time to warm up to be comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We had lots of HOT water.

Its was a nice stay we didn't know by ad that they have year around hot tubs so we didn't bring suites everyone was friendly and helpful. We will stay there again. On main road but sits off aways was quite.

The Outback Roadhouse is a great place to stay for the price. Your room rate includes a full breakfast which was most excellant! I will definately be using their facility again.

The hotel was nice. We got a single room and it was pretty small. I would recommend the double room. The room was clean and well kept. It wasn't a 5 star hotel but for a clean place to spend the night it was worth the price. If you don't care about all the fancy lobbies, pools etc I would recommend it.

We had a great weeklong stay here and will probably return on our next trip to Branson. Room was comfortable and quiet except for the drunk partiers in the hot tub outside our room on Friday night who had no regard for anyone else and were very loud and obnoxious until after 4AM despite efforts of hotel staff to get them to quiet down. Place was quiet with it being off the main strip for the rooms part. Was clean, roomy enough and clean towels every day. Don't often get that nowdays. Only drawback was too little electric outlets and soap dispenser in shower area not adequate. Prefer old fashioned soap bars to the dispenser they had, which was only suitable for hand washing. Liked the restaurant, quality of food was good and a little pricey. The bar was nice with good/polite service. The room was clean. The bed was way to soft, more like worn out. I think the side facing the pool would have been better. The tornado damage to the trees makes the grounds look empty. Overal I liked the place and the price was right.

The location was absolutely wonderful, with in blocks or just a couple of miles of all the must do's in Branson. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Was very excited that I was able to upgrade to a suite when I checked in and they made a special effort to make sure our suite was cleaned in a timely manner so we could check in.
