      Great views and right at entry to town so no need to drive in town--quite a challenge. Very helpful staff. Breakfast only ok perhaps because off season.

      A lovely modern hotel in center of Catania. Essence of Italian modern decor. We enjoyed the Happy Hour antipasti in the rooftop bar--this was a big surprise.

      I stayed 3 nights in November 2012 & enjoyed it very much. The view from my room of the sea with (luckily) a full moon over it was enchanting! It was an easy walk to the sites & shopping in Acireale & not a bad walk to the train station (I was backpacking). The lights above the mirror in my bathroom didn't work & they couldn't get them working so they brought me a standing lamp that showed me WAY too much!! I thought that was pretty funny! The staff were awesome in the hotel & in the restaurant. I would have preferred more food options in the restaurant though. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay at Santa Caterina!

      Loved the stay in this hotel. Very friendly staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Views from my balcony was to die for. Breakfast buffet can improve, other than that had a great time.

    A short guide to Taormina

    A balcony setting on Mount Tauro with a sweeping view of Sicily’s coastline and Mount Etna gives Taormina its lasting appeal. It is Sicily’s only truly international resort, much-favoured by celebrities. The old quarter’s steep, narrow alleys are filled with window boxes and painted pottery, and best explored on foot.     Ottimo hotel per una breve vacanza in Sicilia al mare e per chi viaggia per congressi, molto vicino ad una tranquilla spiaggia libera, facilmente raggiungibile grazie alla linea che collega l'aeroporto di Catania a Taormina, personale gentile e disponibile.
