The Churchill Hotel is nice, but the new addition, where our room was, is too modern. We thought it would be more old-fashioned, because it's an old manor house. But the old part is limited to 8 luxury rooms that are probably lovely, but are above our price range.

Very comfortable hotel, attractive rooms and public spaces, fairly friendly staff and quite conveniently located. When I stayed there in January 2013, the internet connection and outbound phone were down, over 5 days. This was an inconvenience. To the hotel staff credit, they offered to reimburse my booking and assist in finding another hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but would ensure prior knowledge about such amenities.

I would call this a B&B not a hotel. The location is good along with the breakfast. I found the double bed being two single beds pushed together a very good form of contraception. The shower and toilet being found in the wardrobe is something only James Bond would appreciate.

Very nicely situated close to the Town Centre. Parking was fine as the Hotel supplies guests with a daily parking permit. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms comfy and warm. Only downside was the size of the toilet / shower, but overall it was a very pleasant stay.
