"Great Location, Great Value"
This hotel will fit a certain type of traveler well. The rooms were inexpensive and the location was about as central as you could hope for. [400 yards from the torre pendente and also the main shopping drag]What you get in location and thrifty rooms you pay back in room comfort. its a spare experience. The bathroom too tight, the rooms fairly small, […] the TV a small 14" model, but.. hey. you get what you pay for and i think I got exactly what i paid for. Hence the varied rating. Overall a very good value for what you get. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"very good hotel, excellent location"
It was a very pleasant stay. Very good hotel, good aircon and bed. The shower was a bit less than average. The front desk staff is quite good, friendly and helpful but they struggle a bit with english. I would stay here again. The hotel is about a 2 min walk away from the leaning tower of pisa and near by restaurants. about a 15 min walk to the train […] station. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
the place is quite simple and basic but was clean and linen changed regularly. rooms were very clean and comfortable. Was quite convenient for my business as it was within 5 minutes walk and also close to the tower.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Through necessity could stay only one night in a single room. Room very clean with a good bathroom attached. Good location for the sights. Very quiet. Friendly and efficient staff. Easy access. Local buses a few minuest walk. Would certainly revisitGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was just around the corner from Pisa Tower and other attractions. Room was basic but cleanGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The place is a block away from the main attraction of Pisa: Church and Tower. It's a safe place. negative: My room and bed were too small. The reception staff was not friendly. I avoided asking information to them. I did not want a hard time. Breakfast is basically: 1 coffee and 1 bread (cornetto). Parking: I paid 9 eur. for the parking. The parking […] lot is basically on the street in front of the hotel (I thought it was free). I gave it 3 stars for the location, quiet and a clean place.

"sentralt hotell i tradisjonell stil"

"nice - but you could'nt sleep"
The receptionis can't speek english, only italian. The breakfast is not in the hotel, it's on the next street. The worst: was the bed, we spent the first and the last nigts od our holyday there. The first night we got a room with two separate beds. The last night we got a simple bed for two people. said "sorry, it was our last room"Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A good value, simple and well located"
06/18/14 trobaba Amesbury, Massachusetts
I am guessing that this old building once housed a religious community before being repurposed as a hotel. Maybe that's why the first single room I was shown had a definite penitential quality -- tiny and claustrophobic. Thankfully the delightful Lavinia at the reception upgraded me to a still-simple but much more pleasant alternative. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked fine (it was a very hot day) and I slept well. Internet in this building is an on-and-off problem, but I managed to take care of essential online chores nonetheless. It's a quiet neighborhood, a few minutes walk from the tower and the Duomo. If you want more action after dark, you will need to walk south about ten minutes towards the Arno and the bars and the restaurants. I paid a very fair price -- under 50 euros -- and would be happy to return here under similar conditions.
"close to the tower and the center...not bad"

Situated in a very strategical position, Casa San Tommaso is not a luxury hotel, but it's clean and comfortable. It is situated at 5 minutes walking from the tower and from the center and it's perfect also for Sant'Anna students. The personnel is kind, but the rooms are very basic. Nice shower. Internet doesn't work properly and you cannot have breakfast there, but there are many bars close to San Tommaso. Very quite and relaxing, I spent there 10 days.
"Fine For a Short Stay"
06/01/14 GJW1 Wrexham, United Kingdom
We arrived after a late flight and were initially allocated a twin room, even though we had requested a double on booking; this was changed, although somewhat reluctantly, when we pointed this out. It is located a short walk away from the Tower and Duomo in a quiet street. It is in an attractive old building and could benefit from some updating of facilities, but if you are staying for a night or two to see the city it is perfectly adequate and the price charged is fair.
"Great location, reasonable value."
05/15/14 Aussieidler Melbourne, Australia
Casa San Tommaso is very close to the Leaning Tower and is great for a quick visit to Pisa. We arrived in the afternoon and left the next morning and it was very easy to walk to the major sights and nearby restaurants. The room was adequate. It had a refrigerator which was good but no coffee or tea making facility in the room which would have been very good. We found out on checkout that there was a facility in the foyer but we weren't told about it when we arrived. The shower left a lot to be desired. The shower head would not stay in the bracket and flopped everywhere. Under similar circumstances we would stay there again. The location, in a quiet back street, is excellent and the price reasonable.
"Could be better, could be worse"
02/10/14 Patricia H
We started and ended our round trip in Pisa and both times stayed in this hotel. The first room (room 102) was relatively spacious and clean, but in the bathroom the door in the shower was missing. The shower itself was small. Also, the room was very noisy and it was impossible to sleep with the window open. The second room was spacious, but the bathroom was not very clean. The ventilation grid was dusty and there was mould in the shower. Both rooms were quite dark. The lady at reception was very friendly and accommodating. The wifi was good. The location is very good. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there are many bars in the neighbourhood where you can have a nice breakfast.
"Good location, good value, but needs improvement"
10/21/13 NeenBJ Leeds, United Kingdom
Tucked away in a quite little street, within a five minute walk of the Leaning Tower, this hotel couldn't be better placed, surprisingly reasonable price to be so close to the main attraction in Pisa. Our twin room was very small but fine for a one night stay, most comfortable beds we encountered on a short holiday in this area. The decor is pretty traditional, a bit dark for my taste, but its not a problem. The things that did let this place down however were: the cleanliness in the bathroom, which left a lot to be desired. The shower tray was quite disgusting and didn't really look like it had had a proper clean in some time (see photo). And the reception. On arrival we were 'greeted' in a very indifferent manner, concerned that we may get lost in the small back streets, we were not really given a lot of help when we asked for guidance. (However, the location is so convenient, it wasn't actually a problem). The check out was beyond indifferent and we were given completely the wrong information regarding a bus to the airport. All in all, very convenient location, good value, I could forgive the indifferent reception but really the cleaning needs attention.

If you are planning a very quick trip to Pisa, ours was an overnight ,and want to be near the Leaning Tower and the Duomo this perfect, only 5 mins walk, making it easy to visit anphotograph before the hordes arrive The Hotel is small ,a lovely old building with very clean and comfortable rooms, minor problem they no longer do breakfast, but we were given a discount on the bill It is about 30-40 mins from Railway Station, but route is very direct and you pass through interesting old streets and there are plenty of restaurants nearby
"Good Hotel very close to the Tower"
07/14/13 Max B Miramar, Florida
This was a decent hotel close to the Tower. We spent 2 nights on June 29-30 Positive points: - Very close to the tower - Bathroom is spacious, shower large enough - Room large, well decorated, nice looking. - Good price per night. Negative points - Misleading regarding the AC.. this place advertises as having Air Conditioning but it doesn't. The actual unit is there but it has never been connected to the power. This caused us to sleep with the windows open, which it wasn't too bad as the nights were fresh but this allowed thousands to mosquitoes to get in and have a feast with us. - The lady in the front desk is rude, in Italian it is called "scortese". One day Italians will understand that us tourists are who provide their every day food and will learn to have better customer service. However the older guy who attends the evening shift is perhaps a nice and correct guy. In overall this is a good hotel worth considering if you need to stay one or two nights in Pisa.
"Near the tower but far from the crowds"
07/09/13 DonJohn882 Hilversum, The Netherlands
We stumbled upon this small hotel quite by accident, and spent a pleasant night in the attic. For location, it can't be beat - it's within three minutes of the Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa, where the famous tower shares the open space with a beautiful cathedral and baptistery. Nonetheless, because the Via San Tommaso is a side street in the back of the adjoining Piazza Arcivescovado, the hotel and the street are very quiet and feel authentic, not touristic. What's more, the prices are very good, and you're sleeping in an historic structure.
04/26/13 Carla O Portsmouth, England, United Kingdom
Staff were very friendly and speak English. My partner and I stayed here for two nights. Rustic and beautiful. Very quiet street and only a minute away from the tower. Our room was on the ground floor with a large double bed and also had a small fridge and tv. The room had a telephone and air con although was not needed. The bathroom was clean with everything you need. Fresh towels and toiletries each morning. There is also a vending machine in the hotel with drinks and snacks.
