"Central, Quiet & Friendly"
On first impression we were impressed. The rate was amazing considering the location and facilitiesGenuine Expedia guest review
Very cold unit. Not convenient to anything. Very far from shops. Office staff not accessible.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice and comfortable, only hot water was a problem.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Easy and affordable"
While it's not going to win any awards in the glamour stakes, this was a comfortable, quiet, accessible and affordable apartment. I was impressed with the warmth and comfort of the room and appreciated being able to make a cup of tea in the morning.Genuine Expedia guest review
"nice place, great bed"
It was OK. Clean enough, good service, the location ideal for having a car, or the bus also stops near there. I think I could stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"What's that smell ...?"
On first opening the door to the room I was greeted by some strange smell, not overpowering, but it was always present every time I came back to the room. The room was just a little too small, the bed too short, the taps in the bathroom were always leaking. The only redeeming features is that it was quiet and close to public transport, although you […] have to know which bus stop to use for each different time you travel. "Close to airport"
It was easy to get to from airport bed was a bit hard but otherwise very goodGenuine Expedia guest review
"Everything you need for a short term stay"
It consisted of all the basic necessities for a short term stay. It should have supplied enough loo paper for the whole stay. The terms of cleaning on leaving and check out seemed a little over the top. $15 for every 15mins spend after 10am check out! The noise coming from the upstairs apartment was very loud as they would thump about. Very frustrating […] especially on a Saturday or Sunday morning or late at night. "All you need"
Pleasant and quiet as it was not a busy weekend and neighbours went to bed before midnight. The walls are somewhat thin, but facilities very adequate and comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
You wouldn't expect it driving up, but the rooms in this place are clean, well equipped and staff was helpful. The pool is small but deep, well equipped kitchen, aircon works well and your own balcony.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean good facilities"
Very good facilities and a clean hotel. No staff to be seen but no problems either!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My only fault would be that while we had the code for the building. We did not,at that time, have the room number. Although daytime staff were in the building, it was not a signposted office. Found the office eventually.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great Location- Poor Service though- Comfy Bed."
Small Room but adequate- comfy bed- Poor Service as the toilet was leaking. Complained to management and still not fixed by the time I had left 6 days after reporting it. Great Location. Doors on units needed adjusting as the doors to units had to be slammed to close them. Not good when you are trying to sleep at 6AM & other people are slamming doors […] at that hour. "Great apartment and room"
Nice room, great to have a kitchen, clean modern bathroom. THis was my second stay here and I will return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This accommodation will suit those who have a car and want to be close to Kingston and Manuka. Very comfortable for a short stay. The building is looking a bit tired but is very clean and easily accessible. Bed was good which is an essential aspect in assessing the quality of accommodation. Would certainly recommend to friends.Genuine Expedia guest review
"too far away"
It was clean enough but without personality and a little too far away for usGenuine Expedia guest review
"Comfy place, close to shops and work place"

"One night stop over"
Stayed here for one night, easy check in/check out and excellent facilities for the price. Would definitely stay there again. Kitchen was clean, flat screen tv and comfortable bathroom.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to work and easy to locate"
Not bad for a 3 nights weekday stay. Upstairs occupant is a bit heavy footed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The only thing that desperately needs updating is the bathroom. It is not done to have a shower head over a bath tub that needs a step of about 40 cm. It's downright dangerous and impossible to use if you're not so agile anymore. I have sent an e-mail about this to Danele and got a prompt reply, which was very much appreciated..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Threat of a charge for "excess" cleaning"
Generally OK, but surprised that you had to take the garbage out etc. and that there was the threat of an increase in charges if "excess" cleaning was needed.Genuine Expedia guest review
We couldn't rate the staff as we did not have contact with any personnel - security entrance to building and room. The information provided was good and the room was well equipped for self catering. The whole place is a little worn, but kept clean and tidy. Overall it served our purpose of a quick visit to Canberra with comfortable accommodation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Secure and comfortable"
06/25/14 Sherpart Perth, Australia
Only here for three nights bed and sofa bed comfortable, bathroom very very compact but functional with good water pressure and lots of hot water. Airconditioner/heater noisy and ineffective - found oil heater located in wardrobe that more than made up for it. Very secure.
"A wonderful return"

This was my second stay at this place and it was just as good if not better than my first.. Amazed that I was even remembered and was asked on booking if I would like a room on the same floor as before. The cleanliness of the accommodation was as good as before and this is one of the main criteria I look for in accommodation. Location was good for me as I was working at Fyshwick which was less than a 5 min drive and the restaurants in Manuka are great. Thanks to Haylie for organising my shopping for me prior to arrival. I would highly recommend this place
"Definitely coming back to this place"

Fantastic value and great location. Unexpected stop over in Canberra ended up staying 4 nights once there found so much to do in Canberra. The accommodation was ideal with the self catering facilities being a great cost saver. The place was secure, comfortable and very well equipped. Special thank you to Saarah who provided us with all the info and local knowledge to make our stay very enjoyable.
"Best place to stay in Canberra"
03/25/14 Artak Z Canberra, Australia
We stayed at Canberra Short Term and Holiday Accommodation for around 30 days from December 2013 to January 2014. It became our first home in Australia. From the very first moment of booking till the last day of our stay we felt kind and warm hospitality towards us. The management of the hotel, in particular Ms. Saarah and Ms. Danny, were very welcome and ready to help with any issue within minutes. The room was clean (room N57) and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary things such as kitchenette, ironing board, iron, extra pillows, blankets and etc. There was a TV with popular channels and a built in DVD player as well. The hotel’s location is convenient. We used 2 bus routes to travel to all the required parts of Canberra – route number 200 going to Gungahlin via city center (the bus stop is located on the Canberra avenue, 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel) and route number 5 going to Woden (the bus stop is located on the Kootara Crescent, 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel). Being new in Australia, our first experience of living in this country was great! Thanks to Ms. Saarah, Ms. Danny and Canberra Short Term and Holiday Accommodation! If you are looking for a budget accommodation in Canberra do not go any further. Just book! Highly recommended!
"Budget accommodation not great"
03/21/14 Sharon H Jilliby
Stayed in a larger studio. On entering the building it smelt stale and looked like it needed a good vacuum. Not a good first impression. Our room had new furniture, however the carpet was worn and dirty. Bed spread a terrible brown nylon, however sheets and towels okay. Not at all like the picture on the internet. The bathroom smelt like drain and was so small you can hardly move to dry yourself. Goodness knows how a large person would manage. The toilet had poo splashed under the seat. Gross!! The kitchenette was clean and well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils, cleaning products. The air conditioner was not working properly and smelt sour after it was on for a while. Maybe we got an older room,as my daughter had stayed prior to us and said her room looked like the picture. So maybe a good idea to request a room that looks like the picture on the internet or one that has been renovated.
"Budget Accommodation at its best"
03/10/14 AtStarwood Sheffield, Australia
We stayed in a Larger Studio Unit at their Griffith location for three nights in February. During our stay Canberra was experiencing a heat wave and the air conditioner in our studio worked to perfection and we were very comfortable. There was also a wall fan and a good extraction fan in the bathroom. We booked via their internet site with no problems. Everything was confirmed with full details promptly. However, we did not receive an email prior to our leaving home giving security entrance details. This is necessary as no receptionist is on site. A quick phone call to Canberra Holiday Accommodation was responded to by full text instructions to our mobile so all was well. We were very happy with our unit (#53 at the end of C Block) on the first floor overlooking McMillan Crescent. The building public areas were clean and the corridors very spacious. We did not hear any neighbour or road noise. Our room had a double and a single bed, a tall drawer unit, a wardrobe with plenty of coat hangers and a bedside table with a reading lamp. The dining table sat three. The flat screen TV had good reception. There were three interesting paintings not your usual generic hotel art. The kitchen deserves special mention as it was very well equipped with china and cookware. There was two hot plates, an electric fry pan, toaster oven, microwave oven, fridge etc. Everything you might need should you wish to self-cater. The bathroom had a good supply of towels, plenty of storage and prompt hot water to the good shower from your own unit hot water cylinder. The balcony (south east aspect) had a pleasant outlook over trees to a church. There was a table with two chairs and an electric BBQ. The pool was a short walk across the car park and looked clean and inviting. This is well managed, quiet accommodation in an excellent location at a great rate.
"Value for money"

I immigrated to Canberra Australia and was looking for a short term accommodation for 4-5 weeks. We booked ourselves with short term and holiday accommodation for 4 weeks. The services were extremely good with great quality rooms with all kitchen equipments required. The best part of this accommodation was that I could cook by myself for my family. I would describe these service apartments as value for money. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly specifically Sarah who organized all transport and was very helpful in catering to all our requirements. We will rate this accommodation as 5/5 and would recommend to all our friends.
"Nice accommodation and good value for money."
I stayed here for five days with my Boyfriend as he had a work trip. The accommodation was good and had everything we could need. The kitchen was great as it gave us the option to stay in and cook. The room was clean and spacious. I think this hotel is good value for money and has everything for a stay in Canberra. Close to the town centre and Manuka by car. All in all I had a great week and recommend this hotel.
"Big BANG for your Buck..."
01/23/14 Jay R Greenacre, Australia
My son and I stayed in a studio size apartment for 2 nights and 3 days at the Canberra Short Term & Holiday Accommodation. We had a double and single bed, extra pillows, towels, self-contained bathroom, self-sufficient kitchen, balcony with BBQ, table and chairs, flat-screen TV w/remote, wardrobe with shelves and a 1 minute walk to the pool. This location is 10 minutes from Parliament House. Everything was clean, comfortable and accessible. We will stay here again and recommend it if you like to get big value for your money. Jay R. from Sydney
"Small Rental Unit"
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was clean inside but outside needed a bit of tidying. Appreciate fruits which were kept. Cleanliness was good.Apartment itself was small with 2 small bedrooms. Beds not the most comfortable but OK. If people are looking for city accomodation, this is definitely not the place. Laundry facilities are available but only works on 1 dollar coins and close at 10 PM which makes it difficult for patrons.
