"Not bad for the money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 26, 2012
Not bad for the money, but more of a 2* than 3*
"Brand new boutique hotel with great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 25, 2012
The hotel was somewhat hidden from the main road, but the location was great; very close to the stores and restaurants. It appeared as a very modern and clean boutique hotel. The staffs were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean, modern and full of amenities. My parents got a suite room with a small additional fee. The suite was awesome, with balcony and a great view of the city. Service was great. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers :)
"Quiet retreat"Reviewed by Rene of "Herts UK" on Apr 14, 2012
weretreat we were very pleased with this hotel. It is out of the city but the hotel runs a speed boat into the centre which was much more fun than taking a taxi. The hotel itself is very serene with a beautiful pool at the rear and a terrace overlooking the river at the front. Our room was rather small and the curtains are flimsy and do not keep out the light. The hotel is about to undergo a refurbishment and provided the prices stay the same I think that it will be a great place to stay and would highly recommend it to travellers who prefer together away from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh city.

A great place to stay. Clean, comfortable rooms with a good breakfast. Within walking distance to Ben Thanh Market, Revolutionary Museum and Independence Palace. I would go back again.
"The Vien Dong can't be wrong!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 3, 2012
My family had a good time here, on our third stay at this hotel, especially when we were on the 9th floor. It was nice to come back to this hotel and see many of the same staff working. They will take good care of you. Comfortable rooms (we stayed in Deluxe).

"Great service, great room, great location!"
We will return - no complaints whatsoever. Ask for a room on a high floor (as we had), as the street noise bothered some other guests (not us).
"A real gem"
Loved the balcony room we had. A spacious room with lots of character and well executed boutique feel. Walking distance to all district 1 spots. The breakfast was generous but the western food not that tasty. Would definitely go back. Friendly staff and vibe.
"Cinnamon HOtel - boutique with personalied service"
With smiling staff, this hotel is a home away from home in an interesting street about 8 minutes walk from the Ben Thanh markets. The staff are happy to answer any questions, give advice, order taxis, change money, organise massages. Loved the fresh and delicious breakfast - 4 course with option of vietnamese or western with juices, eggs, bacon, Pho, […] banana pancakes etc. Make sure you try the Iced coffee, with or without condensed milk...almost tastes like really dark chocolate. Noisy street during peaktimes but the windows shut most of the noise out. We had one of the front rooms with a balcony (complete with bougainvillea and other plants), view of the city and the street below. Large room with french doors and windows. Big bathroom with bath, TV...perfect. No lift, but after an evening of eating out at the great markets or restaurants we needed to climb some stairs! We stayed 3 nights, then another night after a Mekong delta cycling tour, then another night before our flight home. Loved it! Read more
"Cinnamon Hotel Saigon, local convenient helpful"
We were very happy staying here and would do again. Walking distance to most or easy access to city area, shopping precinct, war museum, night market, good restaurants. There is no elevator so ask for low level room if needed as there are lots of stairs, but help on hand for all luggage. The stay was made special due to the staff, in particular the […] manager, Sony, who went out of his way to assist, we couldn't thank him enough. Read more
Read more
