The hotel was lovely and convenient. The breakfast at the hotel was a fabulous surprise. We could not have picked a better place to travel from visiting Barcelona, close to the tour buses and the concierge helped with everything else.

This hotel is very clean and updated. The location is convenient being on La Rambla and close to a metro station. Since we did not have a lot of luggage, we were able to take the train and then the metro there for the price of one metro ticket.

The hotel is well located, perfect starting point for a Barcelona city tour. The staff is very friendly and helpful (e.g., they offered us an early check in upon arrival without extra charge). The room is OK, a bit small and tries to copy some W hotel rooms' style, so design overrides function. Great location. Great staff. Clean, modern rooms. Good wireless internet. Left electrical adapter in prior hotel room and got a loaner from front desk. Breakfast buffet was good for an extra 11 Euros. Took Aeroport bus into Plaça de Catalunya for 5.75 Euros and taxi to hotel was 7 Euro. Taxi back to airport for early morning flight was 30 Euros.

The hotel is located near the bottom of Las Ramblas. The staff was helpful in answering all my questions. The rooms on Las Ramblas are extremely noisey. We had no sleep in 5 days until 4-5 am. We requested a quiet room and were told the windows are triple glazed! Does not help with the noise!! The location is perfectly located close to the port, the hop on/off bus or even strolling around the Las Ramblas. The staff were pleasent, efficient and very helpful! I would highly recommend for a pre/post stay in Barcelona!

The Eurostars Ramblas hotel was newly updated, in a great location, and the staff was helpful with recommendations (with only minor language barrier issues). We did not do the breakfast option as there were many other choices in the area. WIFI in the room was helpful. Space for clothes was limited to a rolling cart in the corner.

We booked this hotel through Expedia for 4 nights, and our experience was nothing but perfect. The hotel is clean, bran new, with pleasant staff and welcoming service. Great location for exploring the city , but very noisey area , i had room at back of hotel and could hear people on streets having loads of fun until 0500 am . Not impressed with hotel as no bar/coffee shop and very small reception , but loads of places outside to eat and drink . dont pay for breakfast in hotel .

Perfect location for us , right on the ramblas and close to the metro. Staff helpful and friendly. One word of caution we asked how much it would be for a taxi to the airport for our early departure and were told around 25euros but the meter came to 44 euros! Expensive mistake!

The location of the hotel is very good with access to a metro station very close-by. The Gaudi houses are easily accessible from the line that goes from this station. The Gothic quarter is behind the hotel and most of the museums and beach are well within twenty minutes walk. The hotel is very stylish and the bedroom has very modern decor with acrylic […] chairs and lamps. The bed is massive and the most impressive thing about the room. Unfortunately the bedding was much to be desired. It was bobbly so it was quite irritating and a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom door was very odd. Its frosted which isn't neccessarily a problem but there is an inch gap between the door and frame. It is a bit uncomfortable even though I went with my wife. She didn't like it very much. The staff were not very helpful. We asked them standard questions about excursions and local tour guides but they were clueless and didn't seem to want to find out any information for us. We managed to find a guided bike tire ( Fat tire) who were very friendly and helpful. Our guide recommended places to eat and see and gave useful travel advice as the taxis can can very expensive especially between the airport and the hotel. Overall a great city break but this hotel isn't suitable for a romantic trip or families. Probably more suited to business travellers who just want a place to rest. Read more

Hotel was a perfect location for the sites. Room was very modern. Beds comfortable and the bathroom excellent. We arrived at 10 in the morning. Luckily they had a room made up and we could check in straightaway leaving us the whole day to explore. We were on the 2nd floor at the back. The only complaint I've got is that we were woken up in the night […] with loud noises outside the bar that was at the back of the hotel. That is the only thing that spoilt it. Very clean and modern hotel, at the bottom of la Ramblas, close for the port and the gothic quarter. Staff very pleasant, offered maps and leaflets of local sites/things to do when checked in. Hotel room was clean and pleasant, and quite large compared to previous eurostars hotel we stayed in. Very large comfy bed, safe in room, and bathroom with great […] 'rain' shower. The room was towards the back of the hotel and overlooked an alley with an Irish bar behind it, but was not a problem and we had no noise from the alley or other hotel guests. Supermarket a few doors away, and when you come out of the hotel and turn down one of the many streets into the gothic quarter, you will find nice restaurants and cafe's which are more reasonable then on la rambla. It is really close to placa Reial, a lovely square with restaurants. Don't forget about the local tax you need to pay on check out, which is currently about €2 per person, per night, but you will also have this to pay elsewhere. Perfect, looked like the photos and the location was great. Aerobus to catalunya cost 5 bucks and then a metro two stations away to Drassne (i think) was right by the hotel. The metro station had a lift so two large luggage bags were no problem. Loved it so much that i booked my dad in for his holiday two weeks later. For those looking for halal food […] theres a curry house called rajah about 400m away and a shop called pita inn that makes a great wrap (better than kebab) near catalunya on the la rambla (both on left side as u walking to catalunya from hotel). A very clean and comfortable hotel which was well positioned on the lower end of Las Ramblas. A clean functional but small entrance opened directly onto Las Ramblas. All the staff exceptionally helpful. Our only complaint was lack of storage in the bedroom, their were hangers to hang up clothes but no drawers at all so all your other clothes have to be kept in your suitcase.

The hotel is in a very good location, just 5 minutes walk from the Columbos monument / marina, and right next to Drassanes metro stop on the green line (on which you can travel direct to Gaudi's Casa Batllo and the Nou Camp, and are just one stop away from the Paralell station where you can switch to the funicular and travel up Parc Montjuic in just […] a few minutes. Connect to other lines is easy too and with the cheap Barcelona card all travel is free!). It's right on the end of La Ramblas, the busiest of Barcelona's tourist streets, but the quadruple glazing blocked out most of the noise. Within a couple of minutes you can be strolling around the Gothic area or on the metro, which connects you to almost everywhere you could possibly want to go. The rooms are very sharp and modern, the bathroom and shower excellent. The air conditioning was amazing - our room was like a refrigerator when we arrived and the temperature was easily adjustable. Free wi-fi worked without any problems. The staff were friendly - when we asked about where to buy a mains adaptor they pulled out a box of ones left behind by other travellers so that we could borrow one. For our next trip to Barcelona I think I would avoid La Ramblas as it's a definite tourist trap, but the hotel itself cannot be faulted. 9/10 Read more
