Nice hotel however to get to the main sites need a shuttle, of course , we took taxis. whicfh wasn't bad, however, for the price They should supply a shuttle.

Good points: -Friendly hotel stuff, -good location (at next Balduina station), free wifi. *** Bad points: Room is in avarage condition (damaged furnitures, dirty tiles) - extra fees (30 euros for kitchen stuff, ticket to swimming pool) - cold breakfast!!! (bread and butter style)

This hotel is by no means 4*, it is very basic in facilities, you get what you pay on a deal! The staff couldn't care less about anything and don't go out of there way to help they just claim things are 'impossible'. The major plus is the pool but luckily the hotel staff don't run it! Trains are every 30 mins or so, when running on time, and it takes […] about 10 mins to get to St Pietro, next to the Vatican. Although in August most local shops are closed for holidays so it took us an age to get a local travel card as the station doesn't have anyone there. We asked the hotel staff where to go and they sent us somewhere that doesn't exist. The bus runs every 20mins or so and goes to Piazza Cavour which was handy at night. You might have to hammer home to them if you want a twin room. It took us over a day to get this done because there was only one guy working. He'd also lost one of our room keys so we had to use a pass key. Breakfast is nice, usually european buffet of cold mets, bread, pastries and cereal. Read more

We stayed at Mallia hotel for 6 nights. The Hotel in itself was at a good standard. The location of the hotel was practical as there is a train station 200 meters away, However, it is unstaffed and the information available is limited. In order to get a pass you have to go to a tobacchi/newsagent shop. We went to several shops nearby but non of them […] had the passes available so in the end we bought them from outside the train station. Please be aware that there is a charge (tax fee) payable on the last day at 2 euros each per person per night. We paid 48 euros for 4 people. One of the night staff was very helpful, he really made us welcome and was very informative. The breakfast was not fantastic - not much of a choice, only, bread, refreshments, croissants and two types of cereals and it was the same every day. The staff at the restaurant were okay. The swimming pool is not part of the hotel therefore make sure you ask for a pass from the hotel. Read more

We have a family with small children, the pool on the hot days was really great. The pool is next to the hotel but you have to get a ticket to go there and you need to have a swim cap to swim there plus the pool loungers cost extra. Bring your own towel. There is an extra charge to use the kitchen so if you don't want to pay that, you can't use the […] kitchen at all. The staff are friendly and helpful but don't most speak English very well. Hôtel bien situé à 50 d'un arrêt de gare (pratique pour rejoindre l'aéroport international) et à 20 min à pied du Vatican. Chambres assez grande, avec grande salle de bain et grande terrasse ou balcon, cependant les chambres auraient besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement (peintures et carrelages assez abîmés). Petit déjeuner pas terrible, très gras et très […] sucré, de la crème même dans les croissants... Une piscine assez grande et propre mais pour avoir un fauteuil il faut encore payé... Un accueil assez chaleureux mais attention pas de français, uniquement de l'anglais ou de l'italien( pas besoin d'un grand niveau pour demander sa clé de chambre). Le wifi est présent dans l'hôtel mais payant pour l'avoir dans les chambres ( je n'ai toujours pas compris le concept). Une télévision avec 300 chaînes, uniquement en italien ( nous n'étions pas là pour regarder la télé mais les infos une fois ou deux pendant le séjour aurait été agréable). Pour ce qui est de la ville la rien à redire : Rome est une ville magnifique, du bonheur à tous les coins de rue, les Romains sont chaleureux et leur cuisine excellente. Pour conclure l'hôtel n'est pas très cher, 50€ la nuit pour notre séjour mais il est loin de valoir ses 4 étoiles. Read more

Hotellet ligger 100 m fra togstationen Balduina. Det tager 4 min, så er man fremme ved metrolinien A. Det sidste tog kører 22:27, så man skal tidligt hjem hvis man vil nå dette.
