NAUTIC HOTEL - Mallorca Island

We arrived late and hoped to have a quiet peaceful stay. Unfortunately workmen arrived and starting hammering and drilling in 3 rooms close to ours at 8am.

Front staff was quite standoffish and not overly helpful with regards to getting around. The cleaning staff was excellent as was the buffet. The room was a touch on the smaller side, but very liveable. It's a solid 10 minute walk to any active area in town. If you're a bigger guy - the beds are really soft and expect to wake up with a backache

The location of the hotel is great and our room was perfect. We had a room with a sea view and a terrace. The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city right on the beach. It's the best location in Palma, as in the center of the city there is no beach, only port. There was plenty of free parking right near the hotel (because it was winter and not a peak season). The only disadvantage was room service. We stayed in the hotel from December 27 until January 2. And starting December 31 the room service worsened. We ordered dinner to our room and they forgot to bring french fries. We called them, they said they would send someone to our room, but nobody came. The two consecutive days when we ordered something they also constantly forgot to bring some staff - french fries, bread etc. The tipping point was on the last day, when we were checking out. When we ordered room service we paid for everything right away, so upon check out we were surprised to see one of our dinners included in the bill. The receptionist told us that the waiter who served us wasn't there, so they couldn't check this. At the end they removed that charge from our bill and said they'll check it with the waiter. All in all, I'd give this hotel 4*. I would definitely come here again. The advice - improve room service.
