This was a great place to stay, far enough away from the local night life yet close enough to take a simple stroll into the street markets. The staff was very friendly and helpful and would recommend this location for anybody looking to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life!

In my opinion, it is wise for me to choose this hotel. If I go to vacation on PhiPhi Island next time, maybe I will regard this hotel as my good choise.

The hotel is located up on the hill from Ao Dalam Beach so expect a bit of a walk uphill. The walk is not that pleasant either- trash piles head high on both sides and of course, the smell of sewage. You get to walk over a bridge where the run off from the "poo garden" flows right into the ocean by the beach. The hotel was built in 2012 so it is in decent condition, but give it a year or so and it will end up a dump like the rest of the hotels on phi phi. We stayed in a fan room which while it wasn't cool, it wasn't that hot. I thought the moskito net would work fine but when we woke up on the morning, there was blood stains on the bed from the moskitos that had bit us thoughout the night.

Be sure to know the location of your villa.We were unhappy with the villa that was reserved for us both the location and no view at all we looked out to the back of the Villa across the path.. The manager who spoke English very well was instrumental in getting us an upgrade( for an increase in nightly rate) . After an initial rocky start we enjoyed our stay.It's a hilly resort I would not recommend it to anyone not in shape and is walking distance to the town which provided many restaurants and local entertainment.The long boat crews provide tours of the ocean sights,

The only reason why I would recommended this hotel to a friend is because of the location. Ko Lanta is one of the most beautiful place I have ever visit!!! This particular hotel(Lanta Palace) Is located on the most beautiful beach. Hotel itself is disguting. Restaurant staff never lay eyes at us. Trying to order something from them is impossible. We […] finally gave up and walk to Seven Eleven and buys bunches of beers and food and have our own picnic on the beach. Which is better anyway since everything at the hotel are over price. It is much cheaper to buy tour package else where. If you walk outside of hotel and go just across the stree to next to 7/11 there is a tour office that sell everything cheaper than the hotel. Rent a scooter from the hotel(200 baht) is about $6 dollar per day and get a map of the island from the hotel and ride the scooter to Saladan( market) get fresh fruit and drinks/snack for much cheaper then the hotel. be sure to get the helmet for safety. Be prepare for the worst bed in the world. Sadly to say that I would stay here again because of the view and the price. Hotel give you a free ride to Saladan market everyday at one certain time. Nachdem im Norden sehr große und viele Anlagen stehen, wird es ab Mitte Lantas deutlich ruhiger und entspannter. Hotel war sehr gut, der Service und das Essen topp!!! Viele aus den umliegenden Hotelanlagen kamen ins Lanta Palace. Super Sonnenuntergänge - direkt am Strand. Strand auch bei Ebbe gut.

Läget är jättebra med fin strand och närhet till restauranger och små affärer. Hotellet ligger en bit ned från den något röriga bygatan vilket är skönt. Dock försvåras nattsömnen av högljudd AC. Restaurangen serverar god mat men frukosten är enkel och ensidig.
