"Nice place, friendly staff."
Just passing through Tokyo, this hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and professional. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood not far from Tokyo station, so it is convenient for travelers. Rooms are typical of a Japanese travelers hotel: small, but clean and efficient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel on a budget"
Perfect hotel for those on a budget in Tokyo. It's about 3 blocks from Tokyo Station so it's a bit of a walk but the hotel more than makes up for it with very accommodating staff, clean rooms, and good amenities.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great place to stay for Tokyo sightseeeing"
This hotel is very convenience of its location. From Map we think it may little distance from Tokyo station, actually it is in the start rate of taxi distance (which is less than 700 yen) from Tokyo station to hotel. Train station is next to the hotel building, Ginza shopping and fish market is 10 minutes walking away. The hotel is very clean and quiet. […] Staff are very help and friendly. Highly recommended for Tokyo sightseeing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasonably priced close to central station"
We chose this hotel for easy in and out access to central station. It is a little further away from the station than i anticipated but still relatively close. It is a reasonably priced option for this purpose but nothing fancy. The rooms are small but clean. I also used their laundry facilities which were convenient for me. There are good restaurants […] in the area. It served our specific purposes well. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A gem hotel in Ginza"
Close to Kyobashi Station and walking distance to Tokyo Station. Located in a quiet area in Ginza. Get a triple room to get a bigger space. Friendly staff and very clean hotel. Will choose this hotel again if we go back to Tokyo.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, Business orientated, staid staff"
1st: Getting there. If you are a foreigner, you get discount Train tix with passport at airport. Narita Express cost US$15 (50% discount). Bus (they call airport limousine) is US$31 ($10 off if over 65). Bus is better if you have large bags (they load and unload for you) as you will have to carry/roll your bags using train. 2nd: Hotel is on side street […] and not noticeable. We use google maps and went straight to it. One block to Ginza, 2 blocks to Tokyo Station. 3rd: Small, clean rooms. Staff English is limited. We stayed at Royal Prince the 2nd week. No comparison for service. Fresa staff offer zero service. Royal Prince asked "what can we do for you" with every passing. 4th: Check out is at 10am. Extra US$10 for every hour over (strict) We just checked out at 10am (keys become dead), but the other person stayed in room as we got ready to depart (extra hour or so). Small cleaning staff so they probably didn't get to room til late afternoon. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was conveniently located in an area I wanted to be. The only thing I didn't care for were the elevators always stopped at floor 2, where the reception desk was located.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to 2 subway lines and Tokyo Station"
The hotel is conveniently located 1 block away from Takaracho Station (Asakusa Line), a couple of blocks Kyobashi Station (Ginza Line), and near Tokyo Station, so traveling to any part of the city is no more than a 20 minute subway ride away. While the hotel rooms aren't large, the size is just enough for one or two people and the rooms are kept in […] fantastic conditions. The staff is very friendly and they speak English well, which makes traveling a lot easier for international customers. I've stayed here twice before, and I will stay here again. Tokyo has an expensive reputation, but the rates at this hotel are pretty good. It's near the metro, which is really all you need, since you'll end up taking it everywhere anyway. The surrounding neighborhood is clean and safe, if a bit quiet. There are a few restaurants and a cafe nearby for dinner/breakfast. Cool bar next door called the Yellow Bat […] too. Rooms are small but immaculate. This is not unusual for Japan generally, and Tokyo in particular. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quaint but Close to Everything"
Tiny room even by Tokyo standards, but was clean and well priced. Best location for your dollar for sure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very early checkout, no emergency cash service available at front desk, uncomfortable plastic pillow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"convenient Tokyo location"
Booked a triple twin room. Was cramped by U.S. standards, but manageable. Hotel was very clean. The location was good. An 8-10 min walk from Tokyo station's south east exit. Not a bad walk if have one medium size suitcase per person.. May need a cab if more/heavier luggage. Located 2 blocks from a convenient Metro stop. About 5-6 blocks to the subway […] stop to get to fish market-but subways don't run early enough to take to the fish auction. Only a few block walk to the Ginza.district Would recommend this hotel. "Cozy but convenient"
A bit high priced for the size of rooms as compared to other hotels in the area. Rooms are tiny but clean as one would expect for Tokyo. I was surprised to see 10 am checkout time. They will charge you extra (some 1000 yen) for each hour if you want to stay beyond 10 am.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, comfortable stay near Tokyo station"
This hotel definitely caters to businessmen who need a simple place to sleep for a night or two. But traveling by myself with a somewhat limited budget meant this was a convenient hotel to come back to. It provides a new and clean bed and bath, albeit in somewhat small quarters. But the bed is comfortable so it was perfect for me. It's located more […] in the business district so don't expect a ton of nightlife around -- but it's only a short walk away from the Tokyo station and near two other subway stops so getting around the city is easy. It's even just a 30 min walk from Tsukiji market as well. A 24-hour convenience store is just next door. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, clean hotel room"
This hotel was very nice overall with a great location to sights. The room was a little small, but I am imagining that all hotels in Tokyo are small!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Setting the record straight"
We chose this hotel for its walking convenience to downtown Tokyo. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for luggage between checkout time and train departure time. Communication was not always smooth but we worked through it as with elsewhere. We read the reviews regarding small space we only intended to sleep there so were willing to deal […] with the cozyness, the first two day stay only being able to open one suitcase at a time. The information provided from the hotel and hotels.com is not quit correct or clear so bears correction. The details say “will have access to a shared bathroom”. In other countries this might mean that you have a common bathroom between two sleeping rooms with a door on each side or a bathroom down the hall. In this case you are sharing the bath with the other occupants of your own room. It’s a private bathroom and the same size regardless of the size of the room. The second item for correction is the size of the beds and rooms. The first stay we reserved a “Semidouble” room which was said to have a single bed. This meant quantity one not bed size single which is only 36" wide. The bed was a double (54") which was cozy for two but sleepable. The room we booked on the return was a “double” which had the same size bed but two of them and a bit more walking around space. I booked late so paid the price with an increased rate, my fault. If you are worried about space spend the extra $40 or $50 to get a double or triple, if they are available. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location for the Ginza and the train station. Subway (transportation) was near as well. Lots of great dining near by for all budgets. Rooms for a single were small/cozy and clean and reasonably priced. There was free WiFi in the room, a big bonus for me. If there was an English channel on the television I couldn't find it but I didn't go to Japan […] to watch the tube so no biggie. I would definitely stay there again. "Good considering the cost"
Very convenient to Tokyo Station and the Ginza. But a small room with almost now drawers. you will have to live out of your suitcase. Comfortable bed. Clean. Good Wi-Fi service. Overall, I got more than I might have expected for the low cost.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The major negative is the condition of this hotel - in one word: Dated. It absolutely needs a major cleaning overhaul (possibly a change in management for allowing this to happen). In the lobby, the rugs, chairs and uphostery were aged and stained. In our rooms, dusting was ignored on the top of the dresser. The A/C kept malfunctioning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for a one night stay"

Nice stuff, but very small, even cramped, rooms, and the rooms' windows looking at blind walls about 18 inches from it... Kind of claustrophobic...Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Only positive thing is the location"
I was used to small hotel rooms in Japan, but normally this is compensated by a friendly and capable staff or nice views. Here the room was tiny and had a 50 cm view to a blind wall and no natural light could enter the room. The overal feeling of the hotel was that guest are just a source of money, in contrast to all my other experiences in Japan. The […] only positive aspect of the hotel is the location; within walking distance of Tokyo station and Ginza and between many JR lines and metro lines. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent Hotel Choice in Tokyo"
Stayed there for three days this July. The hotel is super close to Ginza and two different subway stations on the Ginza and Asakusa Line. Easy to get to from Narita Airport. The room I stayed was very clean, but also pretty small. What makes up for it is the location of the hotel in Tokyo. Would definitely stay there again when I go back to Tokyo.Genuine Expedia guest review

"cozy, clean, central"
This was excellent. above and beyond amenities provided, super-clean, quiet, comfortable. This is a "business hotel", meaning it is compact, with little room for extra luggage. however, the bed size was fine even for a tall person. there is a desk, water cooker, minifridge, tv etc, plenty of outlets and phone charger adapters. my room was modern, as […] was the lobby/hallways. The location is 5min on foot from tokyo station, and there is a subway stop (takaracho on asakusa line) just around the corner. extremely convenient to Ginza (5-10min walk) and the subway takes you everywhere. Unless you're looking for extensive concierge services or other hotel amenities like a pool, this is a great place. staff were professional and friendly and spoke English well. There is also a restaurant on the ground floor, but I did not eat there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"10 minute walk to JR Tokyo Station"
It so turned out that booking at Fresa Inn, Kyobashi was an excellent decision. Clearing our arrival obligations at Narita and the train ride to Tokyo took a further two hours. At this point we were really tired. So it helped that the taxi ride from the Tokyo station (Marounochi exit) to this hotel was only 5 minutes and cost 890 yen. We were put up […] in a standard Tokyo size room for two people. By that I mean the hotel rooms are a fraction of the size of what one expects in the US for a budget price. The staff is extremely courteous and they were happy to hold our luggage for our 3 day trip to Kyoto the next day. You will find out that the hotel is walking distance to the JR Tokyo station (Yaesu exit), Tokyo Metro Ginza line (Kyobashi station) and Toei Subway Asakusa line (Takaracho station). All amenities worked as expected, except for the pajamas which may be small for some people. I strongly recommend this hotel! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"clean, modern room; good location"
pros: modern, clean room; less than 2 blocks from subway station; 10 min walk from tokyo station; safe area; great service and amenities. cons: room on the smaller side of other tokyo hotels, area is a little dead at nightGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Had to walk outside to access the room"
For each floor, there are some rooms that is outside a firedoor and can only be accessed by first exit the firedoor and to a entryway that is "outside" the building. It is very hard to explain but it feels weird and insecure. other than this, the room is nice and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Most peculiar aspect of this hotel is no morning coffee service. They have the entire set up but it's only available in afternoon early evening. For location room was good value but then my room rate was discounted by 40%. Staff overall was pleasantGenuine Expedia guest review

"Really Good Hotel"
The hotel is in a super location - especially for the price. Had a two single bed, more spaciious room. Did not stay in one of the space shuttle rooms. "The most convenient location"
I have not stayed in the area of Tokyo Station, but this hotel can be accessed by many different subways and only 1/2 mile from Tokyo Station and Yuraku-chon station. The room I stayed with my daughter was small but clean and safe( we left our laptop all the time in the room), the staff was helpful. I saw a larger room with 2 double beds and sitting […] area. We will stay here next time with my husband and daughter. This area is so close to Ginza, Nihonbashi, and there is a great home made japanese noodle restaurant (MOMIJIGAWA, in KYOBASHI) and covenient store around the corner. There is a subway line connected between domestic airport and Internatinal NARITA airport and the station is just a step away from the hotel. Next time, I will take this subway line and get off at TAKARA_CHO station and stay at this hotel. You can go anywhere from here. easily Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The 10th floor apartment was spacious considering the size of Japanese hotel rooms. Equipped with all provided in the hotel description. The hotel was a great find and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Room with two beds was spacious for westerners and the pajamas provided fit only the lady and not the man. Breakfast in the adjacent restaurant was very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location, excellent value"
This hotel is on a small quiet street within 2 minute walk of two subway stations and 15 minute walk from the Tokyo main railway station. Taxi from Tokyo station was 710 to 1200 yen. Very well kept, clean rooms. Room was small (approx. 8' x 17') but no complaints considering that this is Central Tokyo and the price was reasonable. Easily fitted one […] queen bed. There are two small convenience stores within a 2 minute walk where we were able to buy fruits, juice, pastries, yogurt etc. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel's restaurant but they did have some sort of breakfast buffet for about 900 yen. WiFi is free in the lobby only. The lobby also has a desktop computer connected to internet. Staff was very helpful but some of them did not understand English fully. "Very sm reception area and early checkout"
The inn is a business "hotel". The location is great. You will have to connect WiFi in the very crowded and small lobby. The room is clean but the air conditioner is installed in the room so it is very noisy when it is on. The inn has a check out policy at 10:00 AM, additional 1000 yen will be charged per hour. The staff are not familiar with the areas […] outside Tokyo Station and Ginza. They did not understand English well and honestly were not friendly as the staff at the other hotels where I stayed. I visit Tokyo often, twice or three times a year and will choose the other hotels near Nihonbashi where is very close to Tokyo Station, too. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"near tokyo train station"
my semi-double was a good size for 1, and the twin room was a great size for my parents (2) with 2 full beds and a small couch. I was relieved that the outlets works for all my (US) chargers. The pictures available were completely accurate. It was resonably priced and walking distance to Tokyo central train station.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good base to explore the city"
We chose this hotel for location - a 5-min taxi ride from the Tokyo station (or ~7 blocks on foot) and close to subway, worked for us quite well. The room was not large but comfortable and the service was quick. One downside - wi-fi is only available in the lobby but otherwise decent. Will stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo - close to Tokyo station"
This hotel is about 7mins walking distance from Tokyo station, which can get you practically anywhere in Tokyo you want to go. I booked this hotel last minute due to plan changes and got a phenomenal rate. This is an upscale Japanese hotel and though the rooms are small, it's luxurious compared to other ryokans. The private bathroom alone sets this […] apart. The service was very efficient and I had no issues with the hotel room itself. I would highly recommend this one if the price is right. You can walk to Ginza easily from this hotel and there were plenty of restaurants within the immediate area. Lots of foreigners seem to stay here, so they are fairly comfortable with english. Overall, great location means a lot in Japan so this one is well worth it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
