      Great location to the train station. Cab is a fiver and you can walk to the Dover castle in about 30 minutes--we chose the downhill and a cab up to the castle Leave yourself time as we were not expecting all of the WWII history and would love to go back to learn more about the Castle. The View from our room was the Channel and the hotel is quite a little gem. The Staff was very helpful and made us feel at home.

      This guest house is a beautiful old house. It's about a 15 minute walk to town but the bus stop is right up the street. The owners are absolutely the best I've met on this trip. Breakfast was made to order if you wanted some. I didn't include breakfast in my stay but the price was very reasonable and made fresh. I had a room in the front but street noise was not a problem. The shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. This was actually the only place I stayed on my whole trip that gave you washcloths in the bathroom. Just an all round great place.

    I felt the quality of the hotel did not warrant 3stars, the room was tiny, although it was clean, I felt it was not value for money, and the complimentary breakfast was A slice of cold ham or a soft boiled egg, did not compare well with hotels i'm used to.
