Although the hotel staff were gracious and extremely accommodating, the "up sell" at the front desk was a bit much...wi fi, breakfast etc. The bathroom had a mirror with rust spots all along the edges. Liked the in bath clothes line. Room was spacious though the light buttons were a bit hard to figure out. Security is quite tight at all Indian hotels with checks of luggage, metal detectors, car inspections including bomb-sniffing dogs. Nevertheless, the security detail was quite pleasant.

"PLEASANT SURPRISE"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 17, 2013
I was almost sceptical about the hotel but was blown away right from the beginning. I was greeted by a uniformed chauffeur and another suited gentleman at the airport to escort me to my car. They were so professional and courteous. The interiors of the hotel were again serene and beautiful . My room and bathroom were tastefully decorated clean. Front desk was professional and efficient. Free breakfast every morning had a great spread of both continental and indian...the spa is a definite must do...All staff from bell boys to front desk managers were very pleasant and eager to please, service was 5 star quality, making my vacation very memorable.

"Close to Central Railway Station"
There are no complaints about the hotel's upkeep, complimentary breakfast and general ambience. Hotel stay was comfortable, but the front desk was HORRIBLE. The person who officiated when we checked in was very courteous , but lady in charge, next day morning was discourtesy personified. Being in service industry, Hotel management should realise that […] having a good connect with the customers is very important. For having paid a good amount , I was expecting atleast a smile, which was not forthcoming at all.The lady at the front desk was acting as if her words were diamonds and if she speaks they will fall off. Utter disregard for customers was written large on her face. Ordering , NOT REQUESTING, me to pay small change while settling the bill was the breaking point. Even when I came back to collect the luggage, which was given for safe keeping, she was so discourteous. There was no problem with other hotel staff. Hotel management will do well to invest in a better front office personnel , who know how to smile and pass even the most unpleasant news with a smiling face. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
