I found the Fortune JP to be a very clean, comfortable, modern, upscale hotel, but the friends traveling with me had a bad experience. I booked on the club floor, while they were in slightly lower-priced "deluxe" rooms. I strongly recommend paying a bit more for the club floor. I'm super picky and my room, including the bathroom, was immaculately clean. My only complaints: the buffet breakfast doesn't have many choices (no fresh juice, for example). Also, this hotel has a weird, chintzy internet policy. They advertise free wifi, but don't mention that only 2 hours of service is free. If you want more, you pay extra. And sometimes the wifi doesn't work at all. If wifi is really important, the Fortune JP may not be the best choice.

Situated in Mysore, SK Residency is close to Mysore Zoo and Chamundi Temple. Additional area attractions include Maharaja's Palace and Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery.

"Please avoid SK Residency"
It was a one night stay. While booking this hotel through Expedia, we were confirmed for a complimentary breakfast. Once we checked in, we learnt that there was no restaurant in the hotel, nor in the vicinity. The staff was very indifferent. A nearby restaurant packed the food in few polythene bags and was served without plates. Just horrible experience. […] Expedia should put in a little more effort in evaluating a hotel before recommending it.
